The only problem with AR was that Golems in the laser room could pull you back, if that would have been removed, AR would be excellent come close to MF, but I don’t think anything can beat the best dungeon boss encounter ever. Also, the items you could loot at the end of MF were more valuable (Molten Firestorm 80g-100g, Jetpack 100g+ VS Monocle of 60g) and azurite was only available in MF. There simply were more reasons for player to run MF.

I think Achievement Points from dailies & monthlies should count towards the rewards, but the other achievements needs to give more achievement points, there is such a great imbalance. There are many hard achievements, that give so less achievement points and so many easy achievements that give way too many achievements points.
Especially WvW achievements are insane, the amount of time you need to complete one gives way too less points compared to other categories.

First impression of Drakkar is that they’re natural Germans :P

Kiel and Magnus are not saying anything, and the map tells me I’m in Dredgehaunt Cliffs, when I’m obviously in LA. The instance has no borders, you have your own private LA without NPCs.

Potentially Tengu? No, couldn’t be. Then again, the Aetherblade retreat is pretty close to the Shuttered Gate. Maybe a connection there? Probably not. (But, man, do I wish it would be.)

BTW, how big is the Tengu area? There’s a gate in Caledon and in LA, and a wall in Kessex. Seems like it would be a wonky shaped area.

We choose to run separate, to avoid lag amongst main reason, so we ‘organise’ that way. X goes north, Y goes south is the kind of map chat you would expect, rather than let’s all met at spawn in 30sec and run as one big mass.

I do understand is your way, it’s the most effective way for points and yada yada it’s all been said before.

The answer is defitnetly not going to be to counter blob all week long, it’s not a fun way to play WvW, that’s why we run small and tease you to give it a try, it’s good fun.

Because so many unskilled people are concentrated on one server, who only see option in running 60+ people blobs, it is ANet’s fault? Tbh, the server lagg is the least of my issue, we are all tired of fighting 60vs30, tired of not being able to take something, because of the insane amount of siege, or not being able to defend something, because there are too many golems. AM has no skills whatsoever, they win because they have numbers in people who blob up, and the number of siege. AM is not worse, or better than Gandara, they’re different, and we don’t like it, in fact, we hate it.

WRONG it is the fault of ANet because they REMOVED the whole event, seeing as how I and many others joined after or were just to low level to participate we are screwed due to the “who gives a crap about the players, we are doing what we want” attitude. I don’t know if you have noticed but there are multiple threads of disgust over these temporary events for multiple reasons.

It’s what ANet wants to do, a living & breathing world. Unfortunatly there are more WoW players coming in every day, who only care about the reward they get after the event, and not about the experience & the gaining of knowledge about the lore.

Then how is it fair thieves teleport themselves all the time with shortbow, or using exploits in WvW with steal on enemy walls to get infinite stealth? Yes, I’m an Elementalist myself, and I might have frustrated enemies already with my downed vapor form, but tbh, I also got frustrated many times how Thieves can simply escape from any battle without any skill required, only a shortbow.

A retrait is like 2-3s, not 2g…

They won’t be in RNG boxes, you can simply buy it for gems in gem store, like the current skins are.

When you could still exploit Dragon Ball with consumables that heals, ANet told us to report the exploiters, using the ingame report tool. But there simply wasn’t any option that fitted. Why not simply add an option ‘Other Reason’ and let the user write it?

You can always deposit all of your gold on your bank, then delete all your characters and do a transfer. What you could also do is simply paying the gems for it…

tbh, I haven’t seen the firework once. I was lucky I was bugged, just like many other players, and received the achievement on beforehand…

You can use fireworks in WvW. Must be a boring server you are on, because in good weeks we burn through 1000+ fireworks a day.

Our guildleader made a circle on the outer wall of SM with fireworks. Great fun

I mean the firework from Dragon Bash, when you doubleclick it, nothing happens

You shouldn’t be rewarding worlds upon victory, only the actual participators…

Let me use my fireworks in WvW! I want to celebrate when, after the hard work, we take a tower, keep or maybe a castle! I play most of the time WvW, but I can’t do anything with my stack of firework there!

I am suddenly having the same issue, after playing a few hours fine, I had to reboot my PC, and now I can’t log in anymore …

I think many people love ANet for adding a meta event, concluding in an event that rewards people with a chest in Southsun Cove. Many people though it was exactly what the island needed, but not there is a new issue facing: No one is capturing camps.

The queen can spawn aprox. every hour. I took a look at gw2stuff.com to see how long ago the queen got killed some European servers.
For my own server, Gandara: A bit more than 24 hours
Ring of Fire: more than 95 hours
Baruch Bay: 21 hours
Gunnar’s Hold: 18 hours
…

Is this because the spawning chance is low? I don’t think so, people just became too lazy to capture the camps, and only want to do the rewarding bit, the queen herself. I have no idea why there is so much laziness, I mean, you get a bonus chest rewarding 2 rares or better, isn’t it worth then to kill a few Karka to help unlocking the event? Or is the GW2 community really made out of leachers who wants a reward for everything they do?

It’s funny how 95% of the posts here are not made by AM, RS or ER :P
