Yeah, I also tested JI and the sword 2 teleport. Both still work well out of range of the target.
Yes, it affects the temple karma vendors and order vendors, at the very least. Someone in LA said it’s the same for dungeon vendors, as well, but I haven’t checked yet. Edit: Yup, dungeons, too.

I really hate this change. It’s pretty lame of them to do that, and it’s doubly lame that they didn’t even bother to put it in the notes.
What’s really fun is your game crashes when you set yourself to invisible.
Frostgorge still only has TWO ori and TWO ancient nodes; the Orr zones have more.
CoF, CoE, and Arah all have berserker gear that you can buy with the tokens you get from finishing the paths. And, as was noted above, the Grenth temple has a karma merchant that sells level 80 exotic berserker armor.
Yes but as a ranged class does necro need to be mobile? With the huge amount of Soft Condition CC and Fear? Put it in a way like this too. Put Flesh Wurm port 600 range use. You can’t use the port unless you’re in range of the wurm. How bad does that mess up the use of the skill?
A necro isn’t strictly a ranged class. I only use ranged weapons (namely staff) when I’m going to be hitting targets on the walls at keeps and towers. When I’m actually fighting, I’m in melee. Plus, even if you ARE a ranged class, you still need to be able to get away if the enemy breaks through your zerg.
As for your notion of how necros would react if Flesh Wurm’s range was lessened to 600: nothing would change because we already don’t use it (except to cheese things like the laser grid in CoE) due to the fact that it’s already a useless skill.
You think this is weird?….
/s
I feel soooooooo uncomfortable right now.
You can’t craft underwater weapons that are below level 8. Thus, the early trident, spear, and harpoon gun recipes for level 5 weapons are no longer craftable.
I went to the Chantry of Secrets again and I got the achievement, but why did I not get it before since I have already been there?
It’s just a weird bug that happens sometimes. It’s never happened to me when I’ve done map completion, but I’ve heard of it happening to plenty of others.
Love it.
Necromancer still have Locust Swarm, Necrotic Traversal (granted, it’s situational) and Signet of the Locust. Granted, I do not play Necro, but they have these options. Let’s look at the Guardian. They Have Symbol of Swiftness, Save Your Selves and Retreat. Most META builds run GS and something that is not staff, so that’s out. Also since most META builds are Meditation, that means they rely solely on JI for mobility. We have nothing now. Sure we will be able to use it when we are within 1200 range, which 7/8 classes can leave really easily. So we will be left in the dust, and everyone will be able to just outrun us.
Locust Swarm puts us into combat if we get too close to mobs. Necrotic traversal, as you pointed out, is highly situational; it takes too long to cast, and it’s just not useful 99% of the time. But yes, we do have the Signet of the Locust (which is permanent, as long as you don’t activate the signet) and Spectral Walk (60 sec. cooldown).
Guardians have what you pointed out, as well as a leap with GS. The cooldown for Retreat is shorter than an untraited Spectral Walk cooldown. JI and your sword teleport will STILL be useable; you’ll just have to be within range of your target.
The Explorer thing isn’t based off of zones. It’s based off of different parts of each zone. So, you clearly missed one of the Krytan ones somehow; it’s easy to overlook things. You’ll figure it out.
Did you go back to the Chantry of Secrets? If you haven’t, go back. And go inside. If that doesn’t resolve it, then an easy way to check where you’re missing a POI is to press M. Zoom out. Hover your mouse cursor over the name of each map. If you’ve completed that map, it will say 100%. If you haven’t, obviously it won’t say 100%. Do this for every zone in PvE. If you still don’t find your missing POI, then go into WvW and do the same thing with the maps.
Necro is definitely far less mobile than a guardian. And you’ll still be able to use your teleports; the targets will simply have to be in range.
And one should never expect compensation. You’re not owed anything just because they’re changing something.
Bye, Felicia.
Seriously, though, I rarely play my classes with teleports and such. This won’t affect me at all.
Bad eggs, as in saying they are just bad people. Saying that they have no reason to express grievance.
There is a huge difference in a person going “Aw man, I hate so you much!” in a clearly joking manner when another person posts a good drop and a person harassing someone over it, through map chat AND whispers. Of course we all get frustrated with the results of farming and RNG on occasion, but I would like to think that most of us aren’t total jerks who take it out on others just because RNG was on their side.
Why does it say that you are crazy if you hit 50/50? Is it really hard to do?
Yeah, it’s hard to do. It takes a while. You have to grind out sooooooooooooooooooooooo many titles in GW1 to get it.
The boss chests are what has the chance to drop them. I know some people used to just farm the first room of TA (with the vines/wurms). Run to the vine room, kill the vines, kill the boss vine, loot the chest, leave, and repeat.
It’s not a bug, which I’m pretty sure you know.
You can farm high level icebrood (like in Frostgorge) for corrupted lodestones. The icebrood near Ice Floe Waypoint respawn often, as do the ones south of Path of Starry Skies WP. Charged lodestones and cores, obviously, drop most reliably from CoE; you can also farm the sparks that spawn around the Dwayna temple when it’s uncontested (the boss chest from the taking of the Dwayna temple can also dropped a charged core/lodestone, as well as the Lyssa chest). Onyx can be farmed in TA, and the Melandru temple boss chest can drop Onyx, as well. Molten can be farmed in CoF, and Destroyer can be farmed in SE.
On top of that, champ bags have a decent chance to drop a core or a lodestone. If you’re going to farm bags, I wouldn’t suggest Orr for lodestones. Pirates and Aetherblades drop Heavy Bags of Booty, which have a chance to drop lodestones/cores. Other players (of a high enough level) in wvw drop Heavy Loot Bags, which can also contain them, and Heavy Supply Bags (also from wvw) can contain them. Lastly, you can farm high level Inquest for Bags of Alchemical Materials for a chance. And Heavy Miner’s Bags have a chance to drop Destroyer cores/lodestones.
Ah, you’re right, my bad. Man, I’m having a slow thinking morning today.
urban destroys pugs? what? ive never been in a pug thats been destroyed by that one.
That’s what I was thinking.
You’re slightly mistaken. An item can only not be sold for a price if that price, after taking out the TP fees, is lower than the vendor price. The vendor price for the items you sold was 8c. So, I assume the 10c was technically high enough for the sale to be made, and the highest buy order was given the items of the sale (plus the remainder of the gold left over after paying the 10c per item).
As for how/why it happened, you have to be very careful with your clicking in the TP interface (as I’m sure you now know).
If you got all the others, you can definitely get 18 done by yourself. Just go on a necro or a mesmer, to save yourself if you miss a jump.
Yeah, the Ineffable Insignias are all I can think of, too.
In my opinion it’s better to use the pvp lobby for this, because you being on the border without participating could be a disadvantage for your server – e.g. your team might not get the outnumbered buff because there are too many people at the crafting stations. The only thing that is not available in the pvp lobby are crafting stations, but if you need to access your bank or a merchant, it’s a viable option.
The problem with going to the pvp lobby instead of your borderlands is that when you log out, you’ll still be in the pvp lobby when you come back to the game. If you go to your borderlands, do your stuff at the bank, and log out, you’ll be back where you were before going to wvw once you log back in. So, if you have toons parked at, say, a JP chest or on a spot waiting for a certain event, you’d have to go back to that spot or redo the jumping puzzle if you went to the pvp lobby.
Hit the leave PvP button on top left of the PvP panel. It sends you back to where you were in PvE.
I have 3 chars parked at JPs. When I need more salvage kits, I go to PvP, get them, and leave by using that button to return to the JP.
Wow. I completely forgot that button was there. Ignore me and my blondeness this morning.
Nah. It works fine the way it is. Do events/kill mobs = get shovels.
Very nice. All the colorsssss!
I got four chili peppers from random herb nodes in Diessa Plateau yesterday. So, yup, they still drop.
Yeah, I don’t think the Mistfire Wolf was ever buffed. It’s still as useless now as it has been since launch. But it’s pretty to look at.
I recommend that people use guides for crafting, especially if they’re new to crafting. Try following some of the steps to get from 125-150 on the jewelry guide at the following site:
can you please give me the link to “CS TEAM”?
It’s the link at the top left of the page that says Support.
A name change is a separate item. If you bought the total makeover kit expecting to get a name change, then you might want to get a refund or buy the name change item.
Are you in pvp or something? I don’t know if kits can be used in wvw or in the pvp lobby. If you’re not in either of those places, then try relogging.
There are no “parts” to a total makeover kit. You double click on it in your inventory, and it simply opens the makeover window. Make sure you’re not double clicking on it from the Bank inventory window, as that will just move the item to your bank (or not use it at all if it’s sitting in your bank).
I got 3 coats in about 13-15 runs..
whats your Magicfind at?
Magic find wouldn’t affect the boss chest (the one you get the coat from).
If you guys had been following them around and killing the elementals they spawned with the maize balm they bought, they would have has a right to complain. But since you were passing through, hit something that appeared in front of you and got a lucky drop then that’s the way it goes. You don’t owe them anything. You weren’t part of their group or their agreement and people passing by and killing the elementals while on a public, open to all map is one of the hazards of doing this type of farm.
Block, report and put it behind you.
Yup, exactly that.
gw2crafts.net
They have fast guides and normal guides for crafting 1-400 in each discipline. Plus, there are very cheap guides there for cooking (using mostly karma for mats). And there are also 400-500 guides. Cooking and jewelry will be the cheapest, usually; doing both will get you 14 levels.
I love my necro EOTM fun times.
I’m pretty sure you’re well aware that this isn’t a bug; it’s what your kits look like.
You still get 7 levels from crafting from 1-400. So, there’s still a point to crafting if you have the gold/mats. EOTM training, with lots of exp boosts, is fast, too.
I’m somewhat confused by the complaining about the fact that that there’s no longer anything “forcing” players to do WvW if they want legendaries. I mean, granted, I’ve never actually crafted a legendary so maybe I’m wrong, but doesn’t this still exist?
You get badges of honor from AP chests. You don’t ever have to step into wvw to get badges; you just have to go in there to BUY the gift with said badges. And as others also pointed out below, you can buy wvw rank, basically.
(edited by RoseofGilead.8907)
Thx for replies guys, really helpful, what confused me was amount of different armors and weaps, like ofc I want legendary best armor available
But I’m still new to game and many things r in mystery to me
Legendaries are weapons only. Ascended armor is the top armor you can have in the game.
Go to a bank or crafting station. Click on Wardrobe. Then Click on Weapons and find Daggers. This will show you every dagger skin in the game, and if you preview it either wielded or “Weapon Only”, it will show you any effects is has.
Why Anet? What’s the point of it being called WORLD completion, if they don’t even have to explore the entire world of the game anymore?
While I don’t particularly like the removal of wvw from map completion . . . We don’t have to explore sPvP or dungeon pois and waypoints for map completion. So, even with the wvw completion added in, we still weren’t required to explore the “entire world of the game”.
I main a necro. I enjoy PvE just fine and never get kicked from dungeons (or even fractals, on the rare occasion I do fractals). Plus, I wouldn’t call our class broken at all. I WOULD say we need some quality of life updates, though (better mobility options, a non-crappy stability that doesn’t have to be traited or have an extremely long cooldown, and such).
I find that in dungeon runs, as long as you know what you’re doing, stay alive, and aren’t a jerk, you won’t run into trouble, even in Elitist Scumbag Parties (but I personally avoid those, unless they’re my only option).
As the others already pointed out, you can’t dye any backpieces. The only things you can dye are chest, shoulders, helm, gloves, boots, legs, and (I think) underwater breathers. As for the size, yup, they’re huge. You can preview any skin in the game in your Wardrobe beforehand, just so you know; then you’d know if an item is too big for your liking.
There’s a simple enough reason… dungeons are level gated (at least to an extent), but in Fractals you’re up-leveled. Since there’s no agony in 1-9 fractals, it can technically be done by anybody.
I have a new account with one level 32 and one level 20. Neither toon has Daily Fractal/Daily 1-10 Fractal/etc. as an option for their dailies, even when it IS an option on my first account (which has level 80s). So, I don’t think it’s a necessarily a case of dungeons being level gated while fractals aren’t.
Because ordinary dungeons are boring and those who do them, do them for gold anyway.
And most of the people who do fractals do so for the gold, karma, ascended drops, or a possible fractal tonic. I don’t see the difference between that and a dungeon runner doing dungeons for gold.

But I’m still new to game and many things r in mystery to me
