IF they remake the “Eternity”, some user will dislike it.

c) Refound in all-material costs
d) Alternative: Change the Skin, but for existing ones they give a one-time item that can be applied only on that model and keeps the “old” version look

I’m playing since Betas, and RNG gives no kitten on me. While I would be happy for Ascended chests, it gives them to You who don’t even need it… And seems like you can’t even gift it…
You know, I’ve made an Ascended LB before, now I made my Ascended GS. I felt like… betrayed?… after spent those efforts onto making it for some minor stat changes (not like if I wish for more at my broken Ranger), but I had a feeling to just exit the game.
Maybe If these were lucky drops for me, I would consider leveling up another characters.
Anyway, I’m still getting Zenith weapons skins that I don’t even like, and all the other options are the two kind of armor pieces that I won’t even use, since not fitting my taste. Yes, I miss old D&D style, when a Ranger had proper armor instead of latex pijamas.
Only things I can say after all;
- Suggest to make Asc. chests GIFT-able (without pays), then give it to me ^^
- Join me and try to earn AN’s efforts on making Armors or a more customized crafting methood.
- or join to the grooving club of ex-GW2 players who didn’t get what wanted.

Dye-ing all visible items are matter of Customization, which is the core-element of any RPG game. Since GW2 is about collecting skins to look good, this option you suggested, and suggested by 456574687697 user before you – should be in the game from the beginning.
For first, let Arenanet understand how bad decision it was to release Ascended Weapons with fixed color variations…

When they became a whole night fun (~2-4 hours), THEN, and ONLY THEN can anything they offer worth something in the eye of players.

I don’t know why people like total-clear graphics without the essential atmospheare filters, which are not so good in this game. I’m asking ArenaNet to fix them.
SweetFX is risky. What it basicly does is removing the color filter, adjusting some FXAA, and contrasting the colors. Doesn’t seems like so useful.
STEAM banned my COD:BO for using SweetFX tho, maybe AN won’t brake your neck for this “mod”.
However, I’m looking forward for something that turns the graphics onto more “cinematic” like, which adjusts nights darker, days not-so-shine, fogs deeper, armor’s light reflection much less strong, etc.
These are something that ArenaNet should do by itself.

Game would be about to fight for your own world then be constantly well-rewarded just by doing that, not to fight for your own dirty little pocket. Farmtrains only lead players to greed.
Anyway, Maps & Cities should be redesigned also. The current versions aren’t next-gen like. (Map design is a hard point, it is a core of gameplays. Once made good, there wouldn’t be more issues comming up like lagg and unenjoyable/boring contents, which are more serious problems to deal with but cames from a “single” defisn flaw.)
Characters:
We need more hairs and beards with dual-colors, all with SLIDER SCALING lenght.
Age bumpmap scaling, dirt/scars addon, more realistic body options (muscular is very unrealistic)
And some additional bonus details, maybe Tattoos, or something else.

Since GW2 gone out of steampunk-renaissance + D&D style, all we’ll see is stupid and childish technology around all the world. It has no interest, why except loyal users to enjoy what they don’t like? Not a single game gone k*tten on stupid immaginations thats not life-like at all.

I have no problem with the pets, I like them on my side.
Problem is, they’re just useless. Slow, luring, tactic braking, and in a COF P3 they cause my dead at lava balls triggered.
If there would be a mechanics to trait and adjust points on pets, so they’ll behave as we need… would be great.
Gw1’s pet skills on locked 8 skillbar was pathetic imo.

Yes. The Gemstore kins should be Unlocks, like Zenith skins.
Would not brake the income, since there is very very very small amount of people who buy the same skinpack. So then, why not making a kind step towards loyal and supportive users??

Problem is, the Gem prices are not adjusted to the inflation.
There is a new value-trend to deal with, and overhelming farmers with more golds isn’t acceptable.

With a 2-3 dye slot and base colors of 12 the weapons available to have is multiplied more than a 24 times. That would be a big step towards making unique characters.
Plus add the effect addon crafting as I’ve suggested,
as a final result, we would be able to have around 100 times more weapon variations to have. Isn’t a thing that any mmo MUST HAVE ?

I’ve expected GW1 armors with tuning being seen in GemStore or some even within the game as “traditional” or “cultural” kind, or at least as Legendary/Ascended versions. But no…
GW2 must honor GW1 gamers who made Arenanet able to make GW2.

We have an amazing AP system that offers the same skins as rewards of years of playing (the additional stuffs are good tho)… So…
Why not make the game based on AP unlocked skinpacks, meanwhile the GemStore offers “ELITE” versions of the skins? (More detailed I mean)
When will the WWW be a real strategy game instead of circle-speedclearing give-take nonsense?

I no longer care either.
I’ve spent a LOT of time to help GW2, but their decisions do not support the big hits, just the little “hotfix” suggestions of mine.
Problem is, GW2’s “Lore” got very far from what we expected… with all of this gloving BS and the stolen mass-effect technologies, 8bit laser weapons…

What we expect is the old D&D in more dinamic actions…
EPICNESS that is about great characters we respect, dialogues that we remember and quote, a world that goes on and changes, a story that keeps us entertaining, a way of playing where we don’t have to grind thousands of hours to make a character of our wish… You know, this game has the tools for all of this… but the little differences ruin the whole…
Right now I came up for a daily and G’night. Like the rest of the people. I do not even care about the WVW, because people already gave up the mindless/skilless trains and give-take style of farming keeps… pointless… and not enjoyable at all!

When we lack of skins, there is no room for Luxury items.
I understand the concept of “Get it now Now NOW!”, but its seems the same awkward old model that GW2 promised to change… IMO There is no room for those who still want to stick to this model. Play anything else then, all is the s(h)ame.
On the other hand, same people complaining about the lack of prestige at Legendary weapons… so do not fight against yourself. I’m sure you would go through a challenged adventure rather than training between champions or node points…

I’m not sure I entirely understand what the problem is, if someone could elaborate objectively on the argument I would appreciate it.
Problem is that the game has tradeable Black Lion ticket weapons that hase insane price.
Who on earth will buy/farm ~300 Keys to get a 7 ticket Fused weapon? Not so many.
And its price gone up from 260 to 350 in the days I’ve mentioned Fused Short Bow’s price.
Our problem is still the SAME since a whole year.: RNG.
Black Lion Chets has no sure drop of scraps at least, so optaining these items are way harder than the game promised. We can buy them now IF someone puts them up to the TP, but their price is something that casual players (whos the the game designed for) can’t really get.
It is time to change buisness and reward systems. Stick to the kitten achievements to unlock new skins, or sell them DIRECTLY.
We lack of skins to chose from, we can’t be really unique due there is no better crafting even, so at least make all the game items (excluding Legendaries and Ascendeds) collectable for casual gamers too.

Make it craftable or much less RNG crap, or just fill the TP’s supply on the maximum price – w/ monthly quantity limits.

We don’t say Warriors needs to wear paper armors or wizzards a plate armor…
No… All we wish is to give us armors that include some of the elements from different armors. For example, your warrior could handle a stylish tabard, my ranger could handle some metal plate built-in, and his elementalist could handle some leather reinforcement. This IS actualy in the game in a minimal, and well hidden.
Just look up what the armor’s visual materials are.

It is tho. Search up which governments made the money and built up giant military force, and why-how wars made…
Prices have gone up in step with Gold —> Gem rates which is indicative of increased coin in the economy. That’s simply inflation, plain and simple.
People buying GW2 (Most of them are ex-WoW players).
1000 people will more likely to try exchange their golds than a few with,
witch means the Gem price increase are more likely the effect of more players soing minor exchanges than the eRich ones doing the bigs.

Skin gathering (Player’s basic Customization methood) is about to make progress by collecting skins that they want. It IS the progress for most of us, since we can’t really get more powerful items on & on & on – like in most of the MMOs we got tired of.
So Anet completed the HALF of their promise. There is no NEED to grind for these, but after all we don’t even NEED to play the game if it not keeps us entertained, see?
And Yes because Anet needs to look into the potential pricing issues.
