I don’t need and don’t even like armor skins, but I respect your need and I support you.
(However, imagine cortex-like heavy armor skins)

LORE should switch real interesting in case a dragon, I prefer Kralkatorrik, turns out to HELP the Pact – so he can rule the world silently… Well it would make a fair deal to sacrifice a piece of land for him to keep others untouched.
I believe the Elder Dragons are very smart. And that they won’t just mindless berzerk the worlds.
So if Kralkatorrik offers power/solution against the other dragons – so he can be the highest one surviving… amm. got me?

So this is the point I troll-in and suggest my opinion.
Ethernity. What should it be about? → The constant and ethernal fight between Good and Evil
Witch means, the sword should be designed with half-angel half-demon like. Yes. Split in two, that draws out the border between Heaven and Hell.
And after all, the effect has reason aaaaaand Its really a Legendary piece at least.

IF its risky to make changes, then just multiply the haircut with this.
Just to mention, this is a way to make multiple variations of a design with very little effort – and everyone can chose the best for himself/herself.

It would be nice to raise pets, but only as cosmetics – and manualy approoving the look change on tier up.
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
If Ranger pets can sniff out a stealthed target, then you should add the same ability to the Norn beastie forms. It would be nice to see someone in PvP who is not an Asuran.
Good point! At least its a step towards to make it useful!
I wish I would use these transformations as a Human tho…
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
Don’t know if mentioned, but
- Pets should autotrack stealth targets WITHOUT spell applied. It won’t ruin the game if we need to check a little dumb stupidAI pet running after the invisible target. Animals sniff’ it by basic!!
- Good point to have Stealth on longbow, but smart people tracking me down by following the pet. Yes. Pets remain visible and people can track us down while in stealth…
- Please check my ranger redesign topic again and consider making those weapon skill changes at least.
- Ayeh. And more but better armors (D&D), more customization!

Update for LFG Tool:
Need option for:
- Path number sign
- Only lvl80 can join
- Pre-ordered class slots
- Overall more information seen
- Maybe: Only that can join who did the signed thing before (checked by system)

Living Story / LORE would be good if they make ingame cinematics like at the Jubilee, one that drives up the situation, and one witch closing/keeping it.

Underwater helms break. They’re simple armors auto-equipped uppon diving.
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
Let’s take a round on the current conversation on these “Ascended Armors”.
GW2 promised us skin-collecting for unique character appearance – as priority.
In my opinion, there is no mutch problem with ascended items. They may look terrible/fugly, but there are good stat upgrades to fight for – if you want to.
The problem I would like to talk about is the number & quality of skins released.
For those who can’t or won’t get an ascended gear, the game should offer other paths to make some progress to achieve. And for everyone else of course.
This means there are key changes needs to be done for the customers of this game:
- Release mutch more craftable, non-hard lootable skins
- Rework the crafting to support skin-upgrading (to Elite versions, or giving it an effect, colors, etc)
- The “cool skins” must be rewards by achievements – We’re on the right path, just keep at it! (ex.: Sunless Wings)
- Overhaul AP Chest loot variety; Zenith is far less than enough. This one needs to be done ASAP, because people already hitting the current top of unlocks.
After Dungeons are’n speedclearable anymore, and will take a minimum of ~1 hour to complete, the items must be adjusted to the original statement: One run, One Item
Then, as mentioned, Elite variations may take more round.
I would make some logical skin unlock on a lot of achievement completitions,
like if I achieve a 1k Grawl Slayer, I’ll get a chosen item from the Grawl set – and same on most of the species. Complete the story, get a free Pact item, buy/craft the rest if you want. Did every achievement on a Dragon fight: one free item again, then for another one, fight for the unique craft item (like a molten lodestone).
(Items mean Armor, Weapon, Backpack – skins only. account bound.)
It will be a hard work, but this is what we’re bought the game for.

One more thing… this fix.
and possibly the double sigils for two handeds
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
Just a reminder on AP Chests:
After ~10k, Zenith isn’t a noble offer.
By big title steps: Precursor, Precursor, Choseable Legendary (Why not if someone achieved 25k+ points??)
Until that – another weapon sets to chose from.

Great comments ^^
In my opinion, an MMO Map designer needs to put a twist in the design;
I’m a roleplayer myself, and I feel it a bit of problem that we usualy play on empty areas, where is no mutch life-like enviroment.
IF the map would be designed to mix kind of players without concentrating them in one place (as seen in LA), that would benefit everyone:
- Less loading
- Better FPS
- Better enviroment for Roleplay
- Better opportunities to meet new people & make friendships (catch the guy, he may falls in love on rp)
About the weather: Since its the best way to make dinamic terrains, must be programmed.
This feature can dinamically multiply the worth of any areas. PvE mostly,
but in PVP & GVG, I think a huge battle in mud and heavy rain would be a mindblowing moment for anyone. (Lagg is an another topic)
Since the concept of “Living & Breathing World” commands all of these features to be released in game as soon as possible. Be patient as I am –
I’m sure this will be in the game.

Some asked how would they make huge-looking cities with this engine, without wasting.
It is simple: When a real fantasy stronghold/city needs to be made in a game, all the developers needs to do is to map a bigger slice of the city, then make its edges closed openly for some reasons (road uncrossable because of collapse, or just people, or anything that isn’t a simple wall or gate), but allow players to see a blured vision of the rest of the city. This is how I made my JKA Mos Eisley map feel huge. I’ve used camera-mirrors and scenery walls after the playable edge (invisible wall caulked)
Players knew they can’t go there, but at least they didn’t felt they fell in a well.
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
Every market kind that has any opportunity for real money (eg: Gold/Item Selling)
will be assaulted. BLTP isn’t an exception. Use bots to instant node-farm, then autokill-autosell, then they will use the non-sold golds to buy up a lot of a material meanwhile increasing its base price, then load up the bought ones on the same price.
They can re-order the prices without you noticing it, then when you try to sell that stuff, of corse, you’ll stay on the price they wanted. But they’re smarter a bit.
- They won’t upload a million of that item. They’ll keep most of it to after-fill, and they upload the stacks with 1c price differences, so you won’t see a huge spike on the price-amount curve
- With gold, they make more gold by investing as said above.
- They have a nice trade-web to wash those golds clean.
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
- Superscary map decorations (Really dark, floating candle lights on paths, broken ground, lot of dirt, usual halloween stuff)
- For the weapon skins, some real dirty and bloody killing tool. lock-wrecker dagger, good chainsaw, etc.
- Armors: Dead pig head mask, skulls, facepaints, real devil horns, elf ears…
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
Without trolling:
I know who, how and why – manipulating the TP.
Its all about $$$ – Never support the Goldsellers, because they use your $ to force you buy even more from them.
AN has nothing to do with it. I don’t see any sign that they manipulate the prices.
For me, Gem prices are untrackable.

MF Receipe to suggest:
- 5 Basic Transmutation Stone
- 250 Bloodstone (T7 material)
- 1 Pholosophers stone
- Elonian Wine
There we go. Would not ruin the gemstore if values calculated fairly.

No time for that maybe, but would be very good.
When they make mutch more back item, dyes may useable on them also.

+1. Managing friends are essential.
Would be good to know who they are exactly when you have ~100 name on your list.
Nicknaming them “Dungeon guy 1” “Dungeon guy 2” isn’t a professional solution imo.

I hate Trahearne as mutch as lot of you guys here.
Because hes a dumb root and helps us nothing, but taking our glory just as Kormir did in GW1 Nf. Yes I hate her too. That power belongs to MEH! FEAR MAH POWAAAH!
Guess Trahearne can lost “direction” on world salvation. Or just being controlled by Scarlet any way we can’t help other way but killing both of them.
So +1
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
This is a nice question we’re discussed a lot about here.
Once GW2 offers us more Orr and other “dead looking place” (Crystal Desert, Real of Torment, etc) the Pact should try to estabilish Malchor’s Leap for a closeby PACT fort that used to support cleanishing other remains.
- Sylvaries can re-make flora life
- Charrs will work on war technology
- Asurans help sylvaries and all others with their… mass effect tech said as alchemy
- Humans plans
- Norns may bring animals in. Dunno.
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
I tought Dye Remover – witch should remade the dyes onto base style – is already applied for the special armor sets. If not, it should be.
Isn’t most of the armors has a lore pre-dye set?
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
- Races ARE for cosmetic and lore purposes.
- After the original end of story line, why would they care if we can change it and would pay for it?
- Racial Elites are bad designed anyway
- Cultural Armors are locked on races with no real logical reason
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
They made new world invasions after I suggested a WWW-PVE Cross support system that includes all-time invasion across all non-starting area. Everyone saw how this focus turned out. Lagg, disconnects, Ques.
Game needs to sync players on maps equaly.
- Invasions needs to be everywhere with same loots
- World Bosses should spawn in same time, preventing world-cross farm trains. (3 of them spawns in same time, people can choose whitch one to deal with, same rewards)
- And finally, after the farmtrains are prevented these ways, the economy needs more acceptable price standards uncontrolled by hacking kartells.
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”

“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
Professions had “unique visions” of playing back in D&D origins.
Meanwhile a Guardian’s job is to support and cleanish,
a Warrior’s to head straight onto battle with their force,
Rangers should may have the ability of a born Hunter, as supposed to be.
You want tricks, use Mesmers. You want special supports, ask for an Elementalist.
Has a nasty assassination or scouting job, hire the Thieves. Want to use the war technology, gather your Engineers.
But then, if you want guidance in the wilds, amongst the lost, you have a smart task to do, we’re here for you. We’re Rangers…
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
GW1 EOTN had these cultural armors for everyone.
Yes, we was able to play Humans only but all the GW2 playable races offered even armors of their design. The same we want here.
There are issues with racial elites and other benefits for professions, and over all, the game is about to make a unique avatar to play on, not to chose the best meta race for your profession. This is exactly why we’re able to use every profession at every race, no restrictions.
BUT if crafting system would work like putting different parts together, or the whole customization would be mutch more serious as recommended, that would may be enough…
