We want real medium armors, leather + metal – not silk pijamas.
No dinosaurs, but a wide collection, may includes raptor.
Not 200% bigger, just not little juveniles…
Bombs? Rifle? Staff? Well, we’ll get a staff.

To be honest, LA can’t be rebuilt simply to it’s original state.
It has to be reworked as you’ve seen in my design [topic], including both it’s structure and visual design. Which is;
Structure: 3 main HUB propably Docks, Black Market Cave, and a nice “village”-ish. It keeps players from flood a single point, as they did before.
Visual design: Now it’s time to give it a really unique look, to make it like a real city where citizens live & work. I’ve suggested something like the italian “Venezia”, which would fulfill all the sense LA has to offer.
@ deserted cities: Each city has to offer unique things to it’s design, and not just mainly visual differences. It supposed to be something really nice and connected to the race/lore… Maybe really good useable items and a very deep sense of the culture?

So basicly, at part of Rangers: We’re the so-called “unparelled Archers” with such average capabilities, but we’re not supposed to make it better in the future…

Getting close to 3th Anniversary of GW2 and celebrating the upcomming expansion pack, they may import some GW1 weapon skinpack for the GemStore, if not for a reasonable Karma amount…

GW2 is same grindfest as any other game, with the little exception that you know You’ll get an item sooner or later.
Yes, the rewards are really low, and not mutch thing requies skill / provides real challange other than 1 hit dies.
Real grindfree gameplay starts at proper, very deep crafting.
(which doesn’t includes mass producing socks to level knowleadge…)

As a Ranger, I, with an army of rangers just behind me; There needs to be an opportunity where we move away from this nature rubbish and make our skirmishing ways of our weapons, getting closer to the “steampunk-ish” world and grooving up to be equal with Warriors.!!

No magic needed, except for the magic of film editing. I want to see how many times he failed at many of these before he got it right.
I guess they didn’t had mutch opportunity to fail catching and firing incomming arrows.
Once I’ve seen a little show of this guys, a presentation. There were no fails then, and during a real battle / era, I bet they would do it even better.

All I want is to make my Ranger a really good Archer & Hack’n’Slash-er, propably more speed to it.

QoL: Pet stow LOCKED until it ordered to do something, and while Pets are not attacking (just moving around us or even on stow), We Rangers get some buff.
Since this is the only way that keeps us in balance when AN wants to sacrifice our powers on behalf of a terribly stupid AI Pet.

I win most 1v1s vs T2 enemies who aren’t totaly optimised their builds for an overkill spike or simply being way too OP. Solo capping keeps, including Bay and Hills.
Once solo’d Garrison as well, even if it took like half hour thanks to random incomming enemies I had to deal with.
1v3+ where troubles start, too mutch lockdowns to be handled.
Would try myself on T1 but way too long queue there :/
BTW I’m sure that there are even better rangers than me, known one a ’year ago who had mastered her movement so well she barely took any damage. Shes not playing the game for long time… :/
& No, I won’t share my build. It only leads to a nerf, as always…

Could use a normal sword for casting… that still makes some sense.

@ GuzziHero.2467 & LumAnth.5124: Everything thats way too mutch technology (Pact lasers and such) are ruining the lore.
Fancy outfits on non-humans are just ridiculous in a way, but no mutch problem with these.
Bows exist because they supposed to shoot faster and further than flintlock pistols (even if they don’t have to be reloaded after each shot…), here kicks gameplay-mechs in.
Yet, thanks for the 6 gods, we’re using proper siege weapons and not laser-cannon blueprints in WvW. That would be the death of my Commander Carreer…
Mesmer beams are… let’s say, magic.
GW2 became a hypster to “outstand from the crowd”, and it’s quite sad for a huge amount of players, including me. When you see characters around you that more looks like a 120W lightbulb+disco ball than a humanoid, y’know.. it hurts.

Eww no? There already tonns of skins that ruins any kind of lore that AN managed to make at all. Don’t let the game became like Aion/usual fashion bs-mmo, where you cross furry costume dudes, etc…

Or maybe there should be a tab under Traits & there you could set your personality with karma traits like vendor +% coins & such. Maybe even voice-overs depending on personality.

So it mostly works as intended, and there are more important ranger things to fix than Traps.
Than sounds like “I dont play traps so it doesn’t matter to me”. I think there’s some consensus about traps being the way to make ranger somewhat viable (and some pet fixes). After all, traps are our only real AOE.
Yep that sounds about like it. I think we and the mesmer forums share the same thing too,. there is a divide over the class itself. Oh dont forget Entangle is our AOE although it is not a trap.

YET another WEAK ranger on “how good this buuuuuurst!” Please take the effort and click the No#1. promoted video right next to it, where a Warrior deals 5 times the damage of your ranger…
Oh and pleeeease stop annoying T3 Beginner WvW opponents.
Go T1 and start to count hours until you delete your ranger and roll a glass warrior which still same tough as a keep wall.

To be honest, I’m not really trapping. Like to fight face-to-face.
But it would catch my attention if I were able to use it like a C4 & Granades in FPS games, or something like those. Place + Activate on will for additional effects.
The point of hunter traps are to catch or weaken preys, but the best we can do is to trap ourselves underneath, or crossing fingers to have an oponent who goes that way you expect. So it mostly works as intended, and there are more important ranger things to fix than Traps.
+1 – It would be great if Town Outfits became same kind of Outfits,
as was in GW1: Option to auto-hide/equip in towns/areas
& don’t forget to release NPC clothings – they look ready since release -.-’ Just let us craft them with reasonable resources, don’t ask for bags of gold…

400 gems is ridiculously cheap. 400 gems is about 75 gold. 75 gold is about a couple hours of play. I did 4 or so dungeons and a bit of world vs world.

Sorry, but this is just simply not true…
I mean, 99.5% of players (who still play at all) aren’t lucky to make 75g a month, not even in “a couple hours of play”. Without so lucky drops, players barely can make like ~20g with progressive dungeon rushes.
Should we Farm/Grind for anything by the way? I don’t think so.
GW1’s FREE festival items were so mutch better. You’ve enjoyed the party and had a nice gift from the devs. Worked Perfectly.

Hahaha, well said Essence Snow! I know it doesn’t makes You happy but most of guy’s gets absolutely rubbish from the game. I know knew guys who just logged in to check things, aaaand got precursor & that glowing effect infusion.
Looks like the less you play (& spend on GemStore) the more likely you’ll get something to keep interested.
