I have no problem with controlling my pet…

Possible. If they make the effort to remake, also could send the new version of skin to existing users onto the gardrobe, so the old version could be kept. Or… dunno.

I admit, this move seems risky, but to mention again, I’m not asking for a makeover, just a facelift. A quality upgrade. That wouldn’t hit hard anyone negatively – just very few, in front of a lot more who would like it.

Aaaand there is a reason why players buy-out Fused bows, because that flame is EPIC.

The case with Corrupted Shortbow was else.
They did not upgraded quality/finished it, they totaly replaced it.

The only really good way I can come up with – in this setup – is to make everything (that isn’t GemStore exclusive) both loot-able and craft-able.
We need the lucky drops fun, that’s sure.
BUT! We also need able to craft most of these things with a balanced effort.
There is a problem with the materials. They’re tradeable, meanwhile the things you could craft a precursor, or a special thing shouldn’t cost gold/$ directly, but playtime & performance instead.

The Laurel system is a really nice one, and I suggest it to offer us items that can be used to craft stuff, precursors included. And not in any way of horrible amounts.

Let’s see an example. You may want… hmm… Azureflame/Aether bow.
You need 100 Charged Lodestone and a lot of other material in the current state, but if you could be able to trade like ~100 Laurel, ~500k Karma and ~1500 Badge to craft it with Huntsman lvl400-500, then it would be a more friendly way to get what you like to, instead of trying to exploit things for gold or directly try to farm lodestones with RNG included.

Special rewarding would also work. Whoever made it to 10k or 15k AP, surely plays well and often, and deserves a Legendary of choice by – in my opinion.

On the part of RNG; I think it’s just broken here somewhere.

I will may have great fun using Read of the Wind with faster shooting, sacrificing 1500 range and +5% dmg by.

@ Skyguy.3715: I believe I’ve found a really nice mix for the Meteorlogicus that will fit Jormag’s Breath as well It feels fresh, like clouds in the sky. I’ve chosen the shoulder parts to have a closer match for the meteorlogicus’s “mech parts”.

Apart from this Logging upgrade for home instance (which will never pay really out), some good skin could come by now. +1 on ragged stuff.
I always prefer damaged visuals, they’re mutch more realistic than a shiny no-scratch armor we used to see. At least those could have damage signs on texture.

(and the happyness of millions when armor breakings will have texture visual instead of disappearing, ooooouuuh)

It isn’t radical – in my opinion. It is called azureFlame, but it isn’t flaming at all.
It’s just smoking – and I believe I have a vaild point on this.
Quality improvements happened in the past – with legendaries, for example.
Those were more risky.

A basic visual upgrade wouldn’t hurt the 95% of these bows owners.

To question your answer… I’m a Ranger. What you think, how did we felt when they nerfed us and not giving a real sign to do anything since CDI, above that, even stating we’re “ok” apart from some pet adjustment? Well, OK comes from “0 Kill”, which can be true for us

I don’t think so. The reason can’t be the body-look recognise after these items, so only thing that seems possible is the clipping issues. Well, I think most of us could live with that until it’s fixed. I’ll keep my hope on this.

Yep, I hate this bug too, but even #2 does it. It just breaks if they get side/behind you and you don’t manually turn – it wouldn’t be a problem if – for example – thief and mesmer skills weren’t total automatic target.

I would prefer to nerf them instead of boost us in this “bug”.

I do criticize AN because their decisions aren’t logical at some times. Let’s see some examples! ;

• They do not offer realistic skins for Medium classes.
• They do not communicate about plans to fix Ranger class, CDI gone trashbin.
• There is no Living World. There is only a world that gets destroyed time to time. Destroy Forts in Tyria (after LA…), which isn’t a good call by far when there is already very low amount of them…
• They overdesign skins instead making a good visual hierarchy between players
• Some serious topic is hypocritically punished.
• Lack of polishing existing content – maps and world, + skins. – with exception of very few.
• No capes because one race that could wear it with a simple cut or lenght difference.
• RNG. Everywhere. A Lot. (Let’s play S2 with an underpowered ranger that can not charge sigil with kills now and getting its dumb pet being transformed to Llama 3 times instead us by the Skritt Burglar)

Other than these, I’m good with it. Season 2 isn’t that childish as previous stories was.
There is content now if you spend only ~2 hours playing / day and not rushing/dulfysearch.

How is it that we can’t wear other tier armor skins (even if they would fit more in role),
because the statement was “keep recognise-able tier” – and now Lights and Heavy users wear Ninjasuits, but even Medium and Heavy can wear light ones like trickster.

In a WWW fight it isn’t easy to recognise – not even big problem for me.
Just asking; Is here any plan to make the tier skins be wear-able for everyone?
It would multiply the cosmetic diversity greatly – and people wouldn’t be forced to use a class for a specific way of look. Isn’t this what GW2 should be about?

P.s.: Clipping is our problem until they don’t fix it, it’s not an excuse!

You didn’t mention what kind of Elf it would be, so I’ve choose the old-school Wood-Elf way. It is a clear preferenc how badly tiered the armor looks are… totaly messed. :/
Medium armor users gets the worst part.

Dyes: Emerald, Green, Grass, Charred & brown hoe dyes.
First set \\ Magician type: Feathered, Inquest, Magician, Illustrious, Council Ministry, Masquerade (in case you have, it fits best imo, incarnate also good!)
Second set \\ Combat type: Stately Circlet, Inquest, Magician, Apostle, Ascalonian, Council.
Third set \\ HC Fantasy Combat : Incarnate Mask, Incarnate (os Stately also good), Phoenix, Illustrious, Illustrious, Zodiac shoes.

Mix these parts to your liking, I’m sure you find your best.

My concern with the Vanguard sets are their colors – which we can’t dye anyway.
If they were black instead of iron-blue, and the silverish blades were Dark Steel, it would by my chose.

Some realistic Greatsword would come handy by now, whith such cool blade shapes like Dhuumseal’s and Vanguard’s, I prefer Dark Steel as material. I’m sad because my Dhuumseal’s handguards are such bulky… :/ And not sure if I want to swap to Vanguard, because that one has bit way tiny and shiny blade and iron-blue handguads which doesn’t go well with Abyss armor.

However, my biggest problem is still the leather brown Rox’s Quiver.
Some back pack item isn’t that unique, they could be dyeable…

I can spend the last year’s zephyrite scraps, but not this year ones?
Hmm that’s not really logical to me. Can it be unlocked, please?

Hi Devs! I’m just kindly asking someone to update Azureflame with a facelift.
Why am I asking this? This bow, which sares the skin with it’s shortbow version “Aether”, is the most expensive non-legendary bow that isn’t RNG.

Due to the skinpacks comming with mutch higher quality than these base skins, and in fact I don’t like the bulky look of those news, plus want to keep myself original as well as others – I am suggesting it to be upgraded graphically, that kind of HQ as weapons come out these days, including it’s flame effect, which more like a water smoke than fire.

I really hope this message gets to someone capeable to do it so, Thank You anyway!

This pic is a quick-scratch concept with my old suggestion about it’s compact sheating animation that could make it really awesome weapon.

Update, Ideas compacted:

• Folding itself when on back (pic)
• Flames up when grabbing it
• Flames up when firing first shot, not that flashing thing
• HQ Texture
• HQ Flame

I think the actual models are terrible.
But the design idea is a really good one.

The reason we’re not able to use pistols and rifles is the limit of weapon types a class can use. They wanted it to be equal, not logical. See the fillers…

Hey Snow, my problem with the Hilth Bash is that it’s same slow as my other skills. I take like 2-5k damage between button push and interrupt @ good latency.

Be glad that someone kills your enemies and rescues when you’re downed.
We’re not supposed to support each other all time with buffs anyway…
