There is no use of Raids in PVE until the “Living” world doesn’t adapts.
Whole of basic Tyria designed to be a solo easymode, so there are no mutch design-work on them.

Commander build? I think its the most serious bunker/tank with AOE Buffs and minor damages hypertagged. A commander needs to survive everything…

The class mechanic for rangers is pets, not bows.
The balance between ranged and melee is the same across all classes – lower risk and lower damage. Rangers have no special strengths (or weaknesses) in terms of ranged weapons, and rangers using bows are just as ‘viable’ as engineers using rifles.
Problems with rangers are all about pets.

- Mech on pets, which are not working for nearly 2 years.
- Ranged and melee balance isn’t same. Melee pwns by far, except at casters.
- Lower risk and lower damage – How many kitten times do we have to tell you people that there is no lower risk at all??! Go ahead, fight your right and Fail once again. Sorry.
- Rangers are JoaT.
- Yep, pets are huge problem, but not “all” of it. Whole design bleeds by many wounds…

You have to be bit more specific.
Okay, “Royal” style, so it’s still a big field. And I don’t know what kind of shapes you like/dislike. Use Abyss/Black, Midnight Fuchsia Dye, gold, royal purple/blue.
You’re sylvari, right? So which role would your char fit? Fantasy-kingdom noble looking hunter? more like an royal bounty hunter? Fancy looking, or simply elegant, solid or hero?
You have to aim for slim straight leather pieces with metal reinforcements, and just a little cloth.

I really wouldn’t mind on LRS damages in case the projectile’s velocity gets +~50% and ROF would be like +~35% faster…
Anyway, arching is always difficult at games. No clue why… They do the same damages as rapier sword stabs IRL, sometimes piercing, sometimes not as deep as a stab. Basicly same deadly, and range compensates the lack of “blockings”. I wish there would be melee blocking on bow, however…
We don’t know what is the exact “offical” view on arching here, but if they really want to make something in-time/next-gen, then most of weapon skills should be dynamic, like LRS AA does a minor facepounch stun when the enemy is actually in your face smiling, or warrior’s axe throw cripple becomes immobilise when there is no distance- so when available and logical.
Otherwise, Warrior LB has “Pinpoint”, which immobilises. Eh?
The only place where LB should be an Utility stuff is at Warriors. Not at Rangers.

At least these stuffs should be dye-able. All of it. Including the wizzard hats.
I also have a “GW2 T-kitten” bonus, but doesn’t look good with the rest of basic outfit, not even color’s adjusting to white/red. Sad…

Mace itself is same as one handed Hammer.
Except someone somewhere made it a caster-type weapon, maybe because a simple wand would look stupid in the hand of a metal tincan guy.

You guys always forgive that the +range we have on AutoAttack does not really count anywhere. We’re getting out of buffs/focus, or just being a lootbag for a thief.
And the fact “close range attacks” yelled out to be more risky, that is already compensated with high armor/HP/defense/things, why do our DPS suffer it too?
Most of other MMOs/Fantasy games offer agile and powerful archers, why not GW2 does it too? We’re offically hated ^^ What a conspiracy! Maybe true, we can’t surely know.
So yeah, LB isn’t an ultility weapon, at least shouldn’t be. Thats the role of SB.
Would be nice not to suffer Season#2 through this current state we’re trapped in…

150g seems a fair price for a Luxury item, even if it’s just the opportunity to make it, not yet the item itself.
Who has intel about the average welth of Players? I think it’s around 50-100g, depending on server.

How would you like to see any/all of these work?
What I see important here as a game designer is the weapon swapping.
It is kind of okay when you’re switching to do the same effect, like dealing damage.
BUT not if you, for example, swap to Staff from GS to Support this time, instead of dps.
In my option, alongside with a full-covering Build save, where we can save/load sub sections of our build (trait, weapon set, armor set, trinkets sticked), you guys should give us the option to re-order whole different trait setup on our weapon swaps.
Not sure how would it work out yet, this thing would give us real tactical changes within “the fragments of Holy Trinity” as you balance OP classes (like Warrior, Guardians, Eles, Mesmers,…) too.
So finally, as Ranger with beloved companion ser. DeadPet and Lord Nerf Plathypus, could use LB and GS both effective. Not like CoolDowns are a good idea anyway…

Ofc glass cannon IS risky, anyone who goes that way – have to deal with it,
but otherwise zerk is the only way to make a good speed process through combats.

When my Hunter’s Shot hits the target but I’m not getting the stealth (not even Revealed), or it just goes CD meanwhile the opponent is straight ahead, I’m not the one who should learn game mechanics. Believe me, I know those.
Including stealth-tracking, which is same bugged when the after-casted spells and clones just go hit u, for undodgeable 8k bursts even.
The scripts not working well enough, thats all.

In first place, Karma shouldn’t be converted to Gold. Gold shouldn’t be the key of everything.
Karma must be the key to unlock items you can’t do otherwise.
Or buy the same things with Karma instead.

… I’m far not a beginner.
What mostly uses the stealth and other skills unuseable/failing is the autoaim.
Even if I turn back for a second to not conflict camera angle degree limits of shooting, it can easy send it to CD instead of proccing, so there goes my chance to flee.
The best when I’m cloaked up in end of fort wall, but someone at ~1200 range manages to pull me down to their zerg. lal that.

At least I’m not alone with a relatively high dps build where I wasn’t able to bring down an AFK warrior in time… FYI, he was below WWW BL Bay, AFK, I’ve engaged him, a guy came and I won the duel, then it took me like a whole minute to DPS down it’s natural regeneration. It was before the patch tho.
Above all, Warrior’s aren’t as immobile as many thinks…
If they were, they maybe wouldn’t seem so OP.

People fail to realize that longbow is more a utility than a direct damage weapon.
LB is the traditional DPS weapon, and short ones are the Ultility. The ninja-combat-tricker. Why you think it is good to “snipe with a pistol”? Longbow, usually, used to be the long range and DPS variant.
Short/Combat bows are more for agile/skirmish way of fighting. Less range, less dps, but fast and have many trick.
And about the right useage…
- Targeting within zergs are bad.
- Autoaim is rubbish…
- Stealth on LB doesn’t working (for me) most of the times. Even have delay on this short stuff…

A month or so ago I’ve PingPlotted my connections. From Hungary, the Frankfurt server seemed dead most of times, with a couple of others that had 15-35% values.
Right now I’m suffering from these laggspikes and DCs for more than a week,
and I’m often shooting people with invisible arrows and no damage indicator at all.
Even my drops are crap, going through a 40 man zerg gives me like 8 piece of loot, 4 of that is surely some trash spike/claw/whatever halfeaten boot sole.
And this goes above the really bad targeting of GW2 and terrible autoaiming of Bows.
Ranger gets nerfed, nerfed, fights in laggs and when succseeds, gets crap. Awesome.

That is, Energy Managements with unique (and realistic/logical) restrictions, such as chained attacks that Assassin’s had or Adrenaline building that Warriors had in GW1!

Yet, the lack of contents, no expansion, just LS#2…
- We would have infinity content IF there would be a system that loops our play anywhere, anytime, enjoyable and rewarded, dynamic. Like my Cross-Support system.
Basicly, AN has a good point with Living Story, but they never really knew how to make something long-live, constantly playable but still enjoyable. Right now, all is it about to fulfill a list of tasks, and player’s mentality isn’t helping them when most aims to have it now, Now and NOW.
It is a core problem they seem to ignore…

Yes, the thief initiatives are a good “mana”, and I suggest ~every class use some kind of energy management, with unique restrictions that worked like heaven in GW1.
I mean, Assassins (Thieves) had Chained attacks, so they couldn’t just spam deadly skills randomly.
Warriors had to build up adrenaline to cast their weapon skills.
Where are these revolutionary designs here??

I’m a developer myself, and have no any education/gratitude on it, sincs there is none – in my country, just really expensive ones around.

I’m thinking about what if Hunter’s Shot does a “Whipping”, knocks down target and locks in place for a little, useable at ~900 range. It would be a great interrupter, chance to attack or gather range, or to just catch someone who runs away. True Hunter skill, isn’kitten
(And yes I still force stealth put on Point Blank Shot. Only reasonable there…)

Let me say, what most of combat-type people enjoy is if they can really slay foes.
Nerf doesn’t help these people… keep hitting a single trashmob to kill? C’mon…
And some may asks what if we really slay our foes mean not alone?
Then they must come to us from bigger distance, as they react to the bigger force they have to deal with…
What about the strong 1v1s and zerg vs zergs?
Skill based things like right time dodge, skill useage and anything that isn’t spamming would make a great game…
Like we expect tactics from the “TOP” FPS games meanwhile kids playing it…
