hey guys i have about 4 great teams set up but the main thing i am missing is MESMERS if you are a really good mesmer 8/10 or better and are serious about pvp whisper me in game. i have a place for you on teams and leader positions in guild.

i am not making a team to beat i will play on any of the teams i got. im actually going to make 4 really strong trams each strong in there own way.

so anyone serious about a real team whisper me in game or on here. by next week (AIM) will have 4 super teams

so instead of fixing the broken system now with advanced playlist you guys think we should just scrap tournaments all together and just redu pvp into solo q’s?

i guess i would be fine with that. how long will this take to put in game?

We could have had rankings, but without tournaments or a way to get teams playing against each other in an organized fashion, they would have ranked…..nothing. Just the pub play matches. That’s why we wanted to set down a framework first, then add in the custom arenas (for practicing/developing organized matches) and rankings. Having rankings without tourneys or a matchmaking system literally wouldn’t do anything…you would just have rankings based on random pub matches where teams would be anything from 1-8 players. Seems bad to me. That’s why we made that decision.

it makes perfect sense. i said this exact thing in my advanced post for a new playlist.

but can you explain to me how custom arena will be better then an advanced playlist(in terms of getting new teams ready to compete)? it seems that my idea that was backed by a lot of ppl was just overlooked or not replied to.

custom arena wont be good for new ppl to get better they wont put in the effort yes the great teams will maybe use it if they dont want to enter a tournament.

advanced is easy and with most ppl being lazy they want to just click it and play. new teams wont go through the effort unless they see there new team is good enough to put that much work into.

noone in my party has had the dc bug in game since the update. gj ANET.

but i did dc 1 time before the game even started might have just been something non releated. and we have a ele that load bugs into the mist all the time.

there just isnt 8 teams to play. everyone does hotjoin because free isnt the place to practice. like you said to many preemades in it.

why is that sataarcoeny a roaming mesmer? and how does he get so many points a game?

we need free to be a place for new ppl to have fun and start organizing in tournaments. we need a new play list (ADVANCED) for the ppl that are now organized and need to work on skill and synergy then their will be teams for paid all day because ppl will have tickets and skill and teams.

what is a good EU server? (for pvp) i guess were going to buy some new accounts for the EU mornings. then we can stay on the NA for at night

are you guys ready. in 7 more hours we can do paids again. we was only able to play 4 tournaments yesterday but from 6 pm pst until 11:30 pst 4 paids popped.

i guess the only solution is to transfer to the EU server. something we really didnt want to do.

yes we do know the angles and distances. but that doesnt mean we should have to just play the game with our eyes closed cause we know were stuff is at.

from your video immortal home point and mid dont seem to bad is what ppl are saying and i can see there point. but far point trebing is absolutely horrid.

not being able to see ppl incoming is not what i care about. i have ppl telling me when i have inc anyway.

my problem is i cant see were i am shooting. i want it to be skill were i aim at ppl not just blindfire.

NEW TREBUCHET CHANGE SINCE PATCH:

When using the trebuchet, the camera zooms in very sharply into the back of your character, making it difficult to see your trebuchet trajectory and where the aiming arrow is pointing at.

Before, using the trebuchet would zoom the camera OUT and above, so you had a larger field of vision and using the aiming arrow would feel a lot more precise. Now the camera zooms very close over the shoulder of your character (as if the camera is pointing up from the ground).

This also makes it difficult to see enemies approaching your trebuchet.

i was thinking that also but Anet would have told us they were doing it and there reason. i think this just happened (the treb is bugged) because with how much skill this game takes i dont think they would make something that takes zero skill to do just so a thief can sneak up and kill you easier.

wth are you talking about? can you delete this reply it has nothing to do with fixing the problem we are having.

the problem i am talking about is now when we are on treb we cant see anything. it now is basically blind fire trebs and hope you get hits. (spray and pray) it basically = zero skill and lots of luck.

if you are shooting enemy home point it is most noticeable.

this is how it looks now. instead of a top from the trebs eye view were we can see. now we are basically looking from the ground its very low we cant see much hard to see.

never mind i understand the confusion. whenever Hman used to call out he would say there is 3 ppl wearing red incoming home. now he doesnt know if they are good or bad when he sees them from afar wearing purple or black.

yeah it is really hard to press b to see what team you are on. and looking at all the colored flags around your spawn is quite confusing.

then you must have never used one before.

now im a sitting target i cant see when ppl are coming up on me so i can prepare for a fight.

they made it so you are in some weird view when your on it. its no longer the first person view it was.

ANET usually has reasons behind stuff. but i am begging change this back fast it is so weird and un called for.

I just used the trebuchet and i cant see anything. please give me first person back when i hop on the treb. or please tell me why it was changed??? im to OCD for this.

i dont care how they do it. i only see 2 ways that will work.

1. make a solo q like swtor has and randomize the maps.
2. give us an advanced option so teams can start practicing all day not just in paid

number 1 will make the main teams happy but wont make a lot of new teams come together they will stay in frees and pug so main teams will play main teams.

number 2 will make a lot of teams come together and get good then we would have more quality teams. but it would take a while so a lot of main teams wont like it cause they want something for them now.

either way like jumper said waiting 30 min to an hour is not ok. and neither is waiting 2-4 months for one of these to happen

so today we might get the load screen bug fixed who else is excited?

LIKE————- i really liked the idea of more information for example what thief did more or what ele cleansed more debuffs the fact of more stats will overall be better because now we know who needs to work on what. it will make ppl better.

DISLIKE:—- there was absolutely zero good ideas on how to try and get the “newbs” (as they called it) on track to getting better. watching ppl wont get ppl good enough for paid. newbs renting a server to play against other newbs wont work, having the good ppl rent a private arena to play another good team wont help the newbs get good. like it was said in the talk there is no new ppl playing ( i wish you guys would think for a minute…. there is tons of new ppl playing i count the hot joins everyday and there could be over 400 new teams, now if only there was a way for them to make a team and have a place to practice)

i had over a 1.000 ppl tell me they wanted this and that doesnt count all the ppl that randomly say it in chat because they are new to game and dont know were to voice there opinion.

as the title says when and were is the talk with the pvp ppl gonna be?

i can kill a bunker guardian by myself in under 20 seconds. a condi thief can also so can a good necro. so i dont understand this post.

maybe learn to play learn to send who were or dont attack the point the guardian is on if you dont know how to kill him.

what he means is he is looking for 4 ppl to make a main pvp team with. whisper him you classes you play and time availability. you wont be allowed into paid for at least 3 days until after you build synergy together. you should be able in 3 days as a team stomp pugs in free all day get 20 tickets then on saturday compete in paids.

you will get destroyed in paids though because free doesnt get you prepared at all for paids but if you have enough tickets you will get good at paids.

so good luck to this new team and dont waste your time or ours just coming into paids expecting to loose.

yes there is only 2 ideas to fix this game.

the best being if ANET decides to move away from 8 teams need to q and just match 1 team vs 1 team like SWTOR does and put them on a random map. (they can even take the SWTOR 3 game modes to make some ppl happy).

either way no matter what they are deciding to do they need to do something fast otherwise it will only be me and kalifa in the mist talking to each other now asking for a 1v1 playlist because everyone is gone.

ok so i promoted this all weekend and many ppl said they really wanted it. if you read through this whole post you will see why.

a few said they would rather have ladders for a playlist noone plays.

right now i see over 1,500 ppl at any given time doing nothing that’s 300 potential teams. lets give them frees to make teams then give them advanced to get good then imagine how many ppl will be in paids.

in short because i wont be posting on this forum anymore.

1. hot joins: are for brand new ppl and ppl trying new builds.

2 frees: are for 2-3 friends at most qing up together, or brand new ppl wanting a feel for struture. (brand new teams of 5)

3. ADVANCED: a place for teams of 5 to put themselves to the test of now knowing structure to add synergy strats build there builds for the synergy and strats. and to practice against other good teams so they can learn how to audible when need be. once they learn all this and have tickets then and only then should they go to

4. paids: a place for the best of the best to compete to increase kitten’s

(then and only then should a ladder come out for advanced and for paid.)

Im sorry Sprawl.3891 you seem very confused. I never talk smack to pugs in free, actually quite opposite. i tell pugs in free to come on this forum and post they want advanced. i tell pugs i am sorry that we have to play against them and its not fair because the difference in experience.

and we won our last 8 of 13 paids so i am not mad about the competition in paids just the lack of competition when paids are not popping.

you might have me confused with the ppl that do not want the advanced playlist because they enjoy pug stomping.

(if you can edit your post sprawl to say either yes you do want advanced or no you want to stay in frees with great premades. cause from what it sounds like is you pug alot so this might be something you will benefit from until you can get a team)

pvp in frees but you feel like you get steam roll stomped by teams that sit in pvp all day?

do you want frees to be a place you and you friends can go and enjoy a few tournaments when you just dont feel like wvwvwing without hoping everygame its not a top pvp guild preemade?

i hate reading posts like this because its true i had over 6 ppl quit now in the last 4 days. after they fix this i have to rebuild a team again.

we had the top pvp guild in swtor but the same thing happened and i think that left a bad taste in alot of ppls mouths. when pvp starts dieing its a ripple affect that just crushes ppl.

but i will tell you all this i have 100% faith in anet they are going to read post probably sunday night and monday after there vacation will have some answers for us.

so all you that quit or are quitting please come back give them a chance and if they put in the advanced option i think we will have over 400 teams playing competitivly by next month then they add a ladder to that omg great game.

hotjoin will never be a place for rewards or for structure that would defeat the whole point of it. its for brand new just bought the game ppl to go muck around until they either find a guild or meet friends in it then they learn the basics and can move on to free.

i am sorry right now that ppl use hotjoin as an escape from frees because at this point in time premades are making it ZERO fun for pugs but after this monday i bet we will see that all change.
