Mundane update: I lost every single engagement that I got involved in last night except for the double superior AC event on the Yaks zerg at our garri. I loggged on that good note. Stop being so mean to me Maguuma. I need to go see the school counselor now.

I think my next goal is to buy a second tag and put it on my Necro. Then, I’ll lead lemmings off of cliffs and survive by using my Death Shroud.

That’s kind of my problem. I remember I’m not on my necro only after I’m hurtling to my death. To be fair I did it all the time before my necro too because ain’t nobody got time to wait for regen.

Saiyr hacked into my house. It was weird; started attacking my dog and capped my kitchen.

If you click the red struck-through circle you will not party up with them. If you refrain from typing /invite or /join and clicking an enemy player, you will not send an invite to them.

That whole tower seems to be easy to glitch into. I see it often. It is a pain if they don’t just jump off/port when it happens tho instead of attacking.

There was a decent amount of resistance for most of the night, but the things they did were…well, they were interesting decisions. Let’s just say that I play a super glassy ele but I didn’t die at all. By the way, stacking might in open field within range of your enemy is always a terrible idea.

It’s just cuz I wasn’t there to make a joke about stacked sandwiches or only stacking might at the gym to make them feel silly about it. Obviously. I’m not a commander, what do I know.

Well I saw a whole lot of blue when I checked so someone was having fun. Unless that was sad for you. It is Maguuma after all, I don’t think you guys like meeting little resistance. Do you guys ever make Arrested Development jokes about that? You just blue yourself maybe?

Why are we getting into KN populations/coverage? I’ve been down this circular road in T8 and all it ends up looking like is overly dramatic martyrdom and excuses on our side when brought to a public forum. I was in sPvP last night so I was expecting good Wuvwuv stories this morning and instead got dead horse talk about KN coverage.

Yea I was on my necro. I’ve only had it to 80 for a few weeks so I’m still learning it, can’t 1v1 well with it at all as it’s built for ~5v5. Next time I’ll be on my guardian which isn’t so narrowly specced.

As one of the transfer players to Kain from IOJ…this brings back bad memories…and it’s just as painful now as it was then….I just wish my new HOME could work together better….that would be our saving grace. Be more committed to wvw…not just on a whim(sorry). This has nothing to do with those that left for various reasons but the ones still here….Some of our oceanic’s are pulling way to much in hours….I feel for them.

So, Kain, a rallying cry is not enough…we need to use the strategy’s that we know how to….work together…..as a well oiled “machine”.

We use a website, community TS, plan strats ahead of time and reach out to other commanders regularly for help or to assist. It’s not a baseless rally cry, we are really trying to rebuild how we all play. We are working better together than before. Please PM me if you feel you are missing out on any of that, I would not want TVB to feel like they are not in the loop.

Remember, we lost at least 500 players in about a week’s time. It’ll take a little bit to adjust to that coverage-wise and tactics-wise. We are working on it as best we can, but I’d say a lot of us actually are having a good time.

So what about everyone that wants to fight with their weapons and skills and not use siege? What about changes to the walls so that defending a wall is possible without being slaughtered by AoE’s all while every time you shoot you get ‘obstructed’ message?

Guaranteed this change means larger zergs at objectives, not smaller ones, because the solution to everything in this game is to just throw more people at it, or take it so fast that there is no chance of it to be defended.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not perfect or complete and I don’t disagree with what you said necessarily. But the chicken littles calling the end of W3 because they have to think for 5 seconds before they try and PvD a tower aren’t making sense. It makes it sound like they don’t really want to play defensively or with coordination like they claim to want, they just want to win all the time with no consequence or need to evolve tactics. I’m glad to try out and adjust my game for these new options, bring on the bigger zergs.

1 or 2 ACs before did nothing to a 25+ zerg unless you were dense enough to stand there under them, not heal, not switch to catas instead, or rotate people on rams. Now people in smaller teams have a fighting chance to defend a tower. 30s delay put scouts out there, integral to W3 success. WXP for repairs stops the zerg from saving a keep and then leaving without repairing it because they don’t care about defense. Now you have to walk a yak in (and get WXP for it now) to have supplies for your things so they can be repaired, the horror! I don’t understand the QQ. You want zergs busted, defense instead of karma training promoted, they give you options for it, you whine anyway.

Does 30 sec delay affect camps? I assume so.

I’ll throw in a voice for KN I suppose though I was planning to sit it out this week. KBL was a roller coaster this weekend. Every time we got it back and I’d rally the “ok now lets get it defended” I didn’t get through the sentence before everyone left the map again. PYRO zerg was counting on this happening as then you guys would come back and flip it all blue. Effective though, so good work guys. I was the frantic [Ai] necro doing everything I could to get yaks walked and camps kept.

Now that CO and MEOW are gone our showing will be more realistic for the rest of the week.

I won’t be around tonight but perhaps some brave souls could try and organize a fitting send off for KN?

I’m thinking a row of TC and a row of FA facing each other while KN marches down the middle (naked and singing?). Fireworks, flowers, etc. Once KN gets to the end of the march, turn, bows all around and then fight to the death.

Outside KN spawn in TCBL? Anyways, anything that can be organized for tonight would be nice. It’s been a very fun time in T2 with KN first with BG and then with FA.

Now I will be disappointed if this doesn’t happen. Do you want to disappoint me again T2? DO YOU?!

I am more bummed than I thought I’d be as the week gets closer to ending. Our maps are quiet, people are sad. I loved T8 but I think T2 was equally fantastic. On a grouchy note, I hope no one chooses KN to be their little pet project again. I don’t want to turn into a teal deer so I’ll leave it at that. ;x
Related- my sincerest of thank yous go out to those who transferred to us post T8 and are going to stick with us. <3 You really are the best for that and while moving up was an adventure, this is the time you’ll make the biggest difference to us.
