We were organizing a Tri Wurm with 150 ppl. We all were on the same map (and on TS).
15 minutes before the event starts, everyone has been kicked out from the map at the exact same time.
Everyone has been instant-teleported to another map (loading screen appearing suddenly, and then we were all splitted accross several different maps) (there has been NO error code, just an ingame loading).
The problematic instance was on 206.127.146.31 IP.
Has anyone already had that kind of behavior ? Quite weird.
Still happens a lot, at least once per day, most of the time a few times per day. Of course often happens at worst moments (like last burn phase on Tequatl).
Since feature patch, it constantly takes 4-6 seconds to open on my side. Like with the old TP.
Seems like in the end it affects really few players (including me, sadly).
I thought based on map chats on various maps that it was a very wide problem (each time i disconnected > if i can come back on the same map, i see several players in map channel saying they have too been disconnected).
But based on this thread, it’s maybe a very limited population.
ANet should really add in the launcher a a “disconnection detection mechanism” : once someone get disconnected, the launcher collects a few information (IP, traceroute, ISP providers, and so on) and sends them to ANet (exactly like for game crashes) (maybe with player approval, even if i don’t care). That way ANet could easily collect informations about those disconnections.
Game freeze every single days.
In PvE, dungeons, PvP, EotM, WvW, …
Live in EU/France.
Account created in EU, never transfered.
Game freeze for 5-10 secs, after what :
- some times, the game resumes (every event having occured during the freeze are played in just 1 seconds)
- some times, it leads to a disconnection (7: error code)
Most of the time, the freeze / dc are shared with other players on the map ! (after the freeze / once logged back in if we have been disconnected, we chat and can see that some (but not all) players have been affected.
It seems to happen very often on events like Tequatl (but all in all it may really happen everywhere / on any kind of map).
It happens nearly each day.
It started (for me) around 2 months ago.
The gameplay experience is really bad due to this problem (in addition to client crashes, random disconnections).
This traceroute was in EotM exactly during the spike lag.
Game totally froze = skill lag.
For about 15 seconds.
(always EU servers)
Only GW2 lags.
I experience skill lags every day, and quite often it is followed by an error 7:

Previously, with the inventory opened on “equipment” sheet, you could click on a location (a weapon, an armor piece), and then the left panel was showing only the items that could fit that location.
Some kind of a “filter by possible location”.
It was pretty useful !
But since last feature patch, it doesn’t work anymore. If you click in a location (weapon, …) nothing change in the inventory left panel / nothing is filtered.
Have just opened my inventory. Moved that inventory window to the right of my screen. Closed it (“I” key). Opened it again (“I” key again). The inventory window was then shrinked to its minimal size in the middle of the screen.
Definitely still not fixed.
Previously, “lucky accounts” were only for loots and mystic forge outputs, now it is also for gem shop promotions. At least it is fully coherent.
Same problem for me. No free golem. Already had one with Collector’s edition.

My ISP is numericable (fiber 100mbits).
I got the same error message too, its like some packet loss or unable to reach server. open port for 443, 6112 and 6600 doesnt help at all. Hopefully Anet can fix it ASAP.

Happened a few minutes ago on Triple Trouble, about half players have been disconnected on two distinct maps ~1 min before killing the wurm.

In PvE, the adrenalise is just useless now.
It goes down way too quickly.
Most notably, the hammer is dead. The F1 use was very important / usefull with hammer, now you can barely use hammer F1. So bad, was my favorite weapon.
I can confirm that the problem has NOT been corrected with the feature patch.
Already had several errors 7:11:3:191:101 since yesterday. The feature patch hasn’t corrected this problem.

Quite noticably : today during the Maw event, i got disconnected. Once back, i spoke with other players on map : several players had been disconnected at the exact same time from the exact same map (of course we’ve met again on another map instance and not on the previous one where Maw was nearly dead).
Same for me, already had those recipes, don’t understand why i would have to craft them again
What has been done with the collections, needing items (exotics mainly) that have been bought in the week before the patch by speculators, is just … disgusting for regular players. Very bad move ANet. Very bad move.
Have been totally disgusted by Black Lion Chest when i got essence of luck inside, indeed.
It is really unfair.
It is NOT worth it.
Magic find is a gold sink (for a few players : those willing to quickly upgrade it), nothing more.
I’m running a base 232% + birthday booster + guild boost + banners + food = 402% magic find in EotM for hours (with really a lot of bags grabbed on the ground, filling frequently my whole inventory), i just don’t drop anything : lot of whites, a few blues, some greens, a few golds, that’s all.
Any news about this ?
It happens (for me) more and more often.
I sent several reports, absolutely no responses from support.
I really don’t see why it happens, i always play the same (a condi necro), at each run :
i kill a lot of husks
i hit the wurm in phase 1
i hit the wurm in phase 2
i do not die
i do not leave the area during the event
i (obvisously) don’t get disconnected (i often get disconnected but then, can’t get back in)
i get the big chest on the main waypoint
i don’t get the bonus chest
So really i don’t see what is triggering this bug.
Maybe not killing any regular mobs (larvas, small wurms), just husks ?

It would be the same for stability, then. And casting stability before starting a finisher is quite common and looks like a good mechanism.
This is a MAJOR issue. I don’t understand how/why ANet doesn’t care and doesn’t follow this problem (with communication and investigations about this).

The game is totally unplayable by now.

Crashes happens while doing very different actions (that one above was when doing a leap (skilll 3), others may happen just while the character is moving, or just by moving the camera whereas the character is idle).
Agreed : having to watch the same dialogs N times is really a bad idea. First time you do the episode, have the dialogs unskippable. But when you redo that episode with N alt. and again 2 or 3 times for achievements, this really gets boring.
Please make all dialogs skippable (just a “click” on each dialog box to fade away the audio and show the next dialog box would be ok).
This issue still hasn’t been fixed with the LS 2 Ep 4 release.

It’s really getting out of control and worse every day (as noted above, it’s really worse since the last patch – confirmed with several new disconnect since).

It is clearly on ANet servers : everyone in the party has the lags at the same time.
Moreover, a lot of disconnect with errors 7: (even more than before).
Since last patch, i have more often this error than before (happened several times for me today).
Moreover : errors 7:11:3:181:101 over and over, and game client crashes over and over.
Without giving any specifics, I’d highly recommend you change that strategy. There are things coming soon that will give you lots to spend it on.
Eight months ago, still nothing to do with the hundreds of empyrean fragments and dragonites ore we keep and keep dropping from EotM ? What’s up with the “coming soon” expected ways to use them ?
So basically what you did in Gw1. Very good. Just do what you learned from that game an it’ll be good.
On that particular subject, it’s probably quite the opposite : they learned from the previous game that having 3 sets of skills to balance was a nightmare and way too time consuming.
(on my side i too prefer to have the same skills base set accross the whole game)
I tryed a -repair, i updated my NVidia drivers with the last ones published in the meanwhile, i defragmented my HDD, i paid a voodoo exorcist, nothing worked, i’m still encountering errors of those kind (not always the same ones, like on that one :

Events are not spawning at all on Tarnished Coast and Yaks Bend or their overflows.
It’s not the point, but as a side note, there is no more such thing like “Tarnished Coast” and “Yak Bends” maps (and no “their overflows”) : every single PvE map is “overflown” (shared between every servers) through the megaserver.
Same for me … it is a bug or does we have to wait (a lot of time – about 15 min, nothing) for the event to pop ?
Windows 7 64bits, GE Force NVIDIA T660 TI, 16GB Ram, dual monitor, playing in windowed fullscreen.
Drivers NVidia 337.88 and windows update are up to date.
On my side i never found T4 while joining randomly the area. Never more than T3.
Living Story is replaybale with alt. That’s great !
But :
- achievements should be doable on another alternate character even if he has not yet done that part of the living story (actually, this doesn’t work – except for the first two achievements of the episode 2)
- there are way too many dialogs that are not skippable. The first time you follow those in-game cinematics between NPC, it’s great. But while redoing the story with another character it just becomes rather boring. It should always be skippable.
Same for me, around 60 chests opened an not a single bug.
The problem is that i’m not only unlucky on that particular thing : i’m constantly unlucky in this game. There IS a RNG problem and lucky / unlucky accounts (even if everyone else is saying that no, there is no such thing as “unlucky account” and that is is an “urban legend” – obviously, it’s not).
With all settings at minimal (including reduced effects), i still have client crashes …

As stated several times by ANet employees on various topics, “everything is working as expected”, so don’t expect any change.
I always have this problem on my account, each time i log in.
I run Windows 7 client (NVidia card, drivers up to date).
I play in windowed mode (or windowed fullscreen) – have the problem in both.
I have two screens (using the second one constantly with an opened browser).
I have various bags (7 bags, 5 with 18 slots, 2 with 20 slots). First bag in the column is a 18 slots oiled bag.
Inventory never full (but a few bags are full).
Rarity is shown, bags are shown (no collapsing).
Graphics settings are medium nearly everywhere, running in 1920 pixels.
Interface size option is “small”.
I can add that i never had this problem a long time ago, then had it when everybody had it, then it had been corrected (a few updates ago), and then the next update after that the problem started to occur again.

Bumping this old thread as it still needs to be addressed.
Haven’t got key for months on my side. Still not a single one since LS2 has started.
The tooltip appearing under your mouse (when hovering this achievement) should state “200/200” if you’ve reached the limit.
I agree with previous comment : it’s not worth it.
Moreover it’s rather expensive. At 1$ per month, you could have though about it, but higher than that there are not enough return on investment.
