well yea that was the reason ventari was winning the duels we just wanted to show hot it works if it works the problem is thief is kind of a counter to almost every class in duels so its pretty hard to find a match where the thief plays perfectly and the necro as well and the necro wins..

Big respect to Sizer who managed to kill Ventari quite often as well (we don’t want to show that Ventari always wins against Sizer because that’s just not the case we just want to show how you can win when you are a little bit lucky and use your skills right)

that sounds like a nice idea and i am currently trying to get to rank 80 since a lot of people have requested that i do some wvw videos
maybe i will open up a thread for more experienced wvw players to see how they would modify my build for wvw

well what really annoys me since i am main mesmer is that (i will now call them not so high skilled mesmers)..they go to wvw fight people that are not even rank 80 and/or dont have equipment as good as him in 1vs5 and put it on youtube as a montage..
because in spvp everbody kinda has the same chances because you almost have the same stats
but in wvw its so different even tho you are rank 80 u deal almost no dmg if you are not max equipped and the enemy is..

my build is mainly designed for tpvp but people have told me that it’s awesome in wvw thats why i added “wvw” the main point of it is to be played in 5 vs 5 or little bit bigger fights
also in those fights a s/d thief or necro can really help ripping those boons off (also a mesmer with nullfield, which most of the wvw zerg mesmers run)
Concerning the interrupts:
yes it required a certain amount of skill but most of the time you stack enough migh by just spreading boons you got from your team (also guardian mightstacks) to make the boons from your team last twice as long which is insane… (for example guardian buffs you stability for 8 secs) you use your signet and all your team members have stability for around 16 seconds

indeed with mesmer you have quite a huge variety in builds when it comes to wvw
more mesmer videos will follow the next days

well grab some buddies and create some builds harmonating together start a tourny and then go to mid and wipe everything
the thief “just” has to press 333

i have talked to several guys now and they all said they will approve my build etc but none did? whats going on?

as far as i have been playing this build in top 100 tpvp its quite easy to remove the stability from an enemy when using arcane thievery or when you have a necro with corrupt boon or a s/d thief in your group which 80% of the teams playing have so its extremely strong if you just step back and let your phantasms do the work while you help out your team with an awesome dmg boost

oh btw almost got used to it he just needs a new mouse he can bind his heal and ultimate too then its alright and it will be more pleasure for you guys to watch him playing

well i am not really playing anything else than pvp but what i have heard from talking to other players if you use runes of perplexity with my confusion bomber build you should be able to kill everything in wvw also you could try my spike shatter mesmer then i am sure you can solo camps easily gl!
i will talk to other mesmers and try to come up with a wvw roaming build that is unique in its playstyle

no probs as long as there are people appreciating the effort i will continue doing it

i would not use staff because the boons are just toooo short and about lyssa runes..same problem…boon duration is just way too short so what you want to do with this build is to mainly stack might therefore i would play gs for mirror blade and the nice aoe interrupt its awesome!
