Part of playing a mesmer skillfully is knowing what phantasms and clones you have on the field, in what order you placed them down, which ones are in danger, and which ones will be replaced first. That increases the skill cap.

Not only would a change like you propose be difficult to actually use effectively since the icons would be so small, it would also be dumbing down the class, which is bad.

i agree…i dont want mesmer to get like necro is atm….it doesnt feel rewarding at all

well i usually play nullfield in this current meta since most of the enemies have stability and you get spammed by condis a lot so its awesome

maybe axe only for cc over enemy and defensive bubble…

ps: a good action against a ranged class would be:
axw 4# + axe 5# which can deal massive damage (if power build) or give you pressure, cc, block and a mid-low damage over a single target enemy.

the differences in his spirit ranger build are:
his sigils
his amulett
his pets
his offhand

(well i think thats something )
also its especially for new players that want to know smth about all the classes and their current state in the game

i guess he is using offhand axe for the defensive abilities
and well good question how i define the top x class:
thats how i do it:
1: i check out the leaderboards
2: i play with the players i interview
3: i talk to other high ranked and well known players who they think is the best in xy class
4: i watch streams and do research and analyze their playstyles
5: i invite the guy who made it through all of this

this sounds crazy and very time consuming: yes it is!
why do i do that then?:
i love guild wars 2 and i want to help the community out and show some initiative to help improve gw2

no the downstate is so awesome!!! here u can see how well a team coordinates to rezz smbdy or to stomp also you can see some sick trickstomps…when its the perfect time for it

haha no i was talking about a power ranger positioning himself like a necro (probably condi since the range of a power necro is pretty tiny)

I don’t actually care about people telling me that azshene is not the best guardian ingame or smth like that…I have been playing this game since the “reporter’s beta tests” and I have only been playing PvP. Therefore I would say i can judge a good guard when I see one and I have followed Team Paradigm for quite some time now because I love their playstyle teamplay and tactics..also i can say that azshene has a huge amount of skill when it comes to playing his class..he is insanely good in duels against every other class and knows how to support his team and when to leave his point to protect teammates etc etc

well lets hope it will turn out the best because I would really miss rangers in pvp (not spirit ranger ones tho) i would love to see power rangers where you have to position yourself perfectly like a necro has to and then start attacking…

and actually i am only clicking mirror images because i have been doing that since the beta…with all my other build skills classes etc i use “e” to activate it..DONT ASK ME WHY i dont know either (i am weird lol)

Azshenes spec is a general bunker spec and the point is to hold middle as long as possible and as i said if your team has a bigger fight on the side node try to help em out gl!

indeed and i just realized that a while ago

it isnt meant to be funny nor a fanboy homerism…but i have been playing wow before and the balance and the amount of money u have to put in the game is horrible
and beside all the hate i want to thank anet once

So…..when the patch with the huge condition class buff hit I was angry I was really angry and sad…sad that I couldnt play my mesmer anymore..after some time of frustration and trying out new builds I came to the conclusion that mesmer sucks (i have actually invented two builds that are viable tho)….i was sad ..very sad…but then I watched the state of the game for the coming patch at the end of september and i realized one thing…i have paid only 50 € or smth for this game..and i have been enjoying it a lot over the past year playing it…i had ups and downs with my team but we had a good laugh almost everytime playing it…and I can also feel that the devs are dedicated to do everything to make this game even better…almost every month we get new stuff do discover …for free… i have never seen it from this perspective….all the complaints…everything ..i used to be a part of that…but actually this game is awesome and i love you anet (no homo) for creating it and working to improve it everyday
AND I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT PATCH
what i have heard in the state of the game it is gonna be epic…and u can see the love anet puts in this game when you hear jonathan and grouch talking about it:
“it will be awesome…but we cant give away and further details (and u can see in their faces that they are as excited as we are about the improvements and they cant wait to show them to us)

Ever since I fought one the other day that completely locked me down with his turrets and CC skills and near perma blind I’ve hated fighting them. I killed the bugger but my god it was one hell of an annoying fight and I won with only 1K hp remaining.

ah yea i know that haha well as a guardian u are gonna have a bad time fighting engineer but as a mesmer its possible (at least not on a small point haha)

I found that taking torch over pistol and the torch removes condis talent over the shatters removes boons makes shatter work a bit better in this meta. You lose some damage without have the pistol phat. BUT the torch stealth seems to be a better initiation then the pistol stun. I was having great luck with it.

Some nice videos I enjoyed watching them and as always Mesmers are evil when it comes to 1vs1. Last time My Zerker Guardian went up against a Zerker Mesmer (same build as yourself) the fight went on for 10 minutes and in the end we both bowed to each other and called it a day so we could go bother someone else. I’d be interested in having a duel with you sometime for sure
