Because short DC = decent chances to win, DC for the half of the match = guaranteed loss unless enemies are braindead.
And that is the thing. Either they punish everyone equally or they don’t punish people at all.
So you consider IRL there should be death sentence for any crime ( even throwing an empty soda can on a road) cause this is “fair”? Lol

It’s hard to blame ISP when u get a totally random disconnects without any lag spikes prior DC and can relog right away. BTW did Arena fix all spots of falling through textures because there is no 100% way to unstuck without death/relog as far as i know?

In-game AFKing and leaving the match prematurely are two separate issues. Both can be and have been ameliorated successfully in other games. Let’s see how the new system manages before resorting to caps.
Thing is we already have dishonorable for people that completly leave the match. And punshing something like 30sec DC in a won match is just plain ridiculous.

I have random disconnects myself on occasion, but I see the necessity of punishing leavers harshly, because leaving effectively ruins the experience for 9 other people.
This DOES NOT punish leavers cause they can just AFK till the end of the match.

That´s PvP for me, remember P stands for “Player” and not capture “Point”.
In 10minute spvp match i usually get more decent pvp encounters than in 1-2 hours running around the wvw maps.
Most classes can do 11k damage in 1 second.
But Ele can kill heavy golem in 1 second ( 22k hp 2600 armor).
What caused the changes were PvP players Killing sieges in PVP With FGS and using meteornado on points.
I cant remember i’ve ever seen meteornado in team queue, so NOPE.
Phoenix isn’t instant. Fresh Air Build. Btw he kittened up the phoenix, it can hit x2 more if you aim it right.

In WvW you got to be aware of 199 players in the borderlands, and 299 people in EBG. .

3. That very well may be but pvpers now can get arah armor which is an end game armor. I wonder if wvwers can get arah gear hmmm?
LOL, everyone who played rated matches had it already a year before the Feature Patch. Besides there is barely anything hard in farming dungeons.

No, it’s not viable to farm it in spvp, since you get random ( and mostly useless) stats, the drop rate is decent but still too low to get full set of particular stats in a resonable timeframe. Though you do get dragonite and and empyreal fragments from tracks so you may skip some dungeon/world boss farming when you craft.

1. Burst ele is not op.
2. He has no projectiles to reflect during the burst except Arcane Blast which shouldn’t be enough to oneshoot anything.

There is a certain engi on NA that takes max advantage of this trait and is simply unbeatable 1v1 and also extremely useful at mid fight. Gives his team super easy victories.
So yes, this trait has to be nerfed.

I’m yoloqueueing TA on EU all the time and got to top 600 without tryharding much, so i think “bad enemies” is a totally valid argument since there are barely any decent teams playing. Doubt your NA top 600 is any better.

Loosing a mere 15 silver isn’t an end of the world ( if you really care so much for reward/time ratio you should go pve) if you will get more for wins and in a bigger perspective you can earn more gold for being good and trying harder.

It won’t remove afkers. Instead, it’ll create more.
The enemy has 300 points and your team has 50 points. Leaving will get you dishonorable debuff. So what now? Just afk and go onto the internet until it is over.
So whats the point not to afk in the current system with the score 300 vs 50 ? You will get stuff anyway so there is almost zero incentive to do anything after you grab some personal score to get the reward.

This build is annoying but its deffinetely not a hard counter, killed some such engis myself using axe-bow, hambow probably should handle it too. Combustive shoot radius is way too big for those tiny reflect fields unless you unload 3-4 turrets simultaniously.

You can port to WvW, then take the portal to LA (or now Vigil Keep or w/e), yes. However once you do this, you still have to WP back to near wherever you were, then walk the rest of the distance.
There is no need for walking and porting, you can simply relog.
2. Death shroud starts at 0 for every match, and locks a player out of their utilities, heal and elite. It also has no condition removal. I take it to never played necro?
If you are not a MM you should start a match with 22% minimum not 0.
“Attack” is just a useless number which isn’t used in any calculatons whatsoever.

The biggest thing I liked about the Balthazar Backpiece when I was watching the previews for the feature patch was it was one of the first items in the game that would represent that a player pvp’d a lot.
You can grind it in a few days so this hardly means that the owner pvp’d a lot. Besides there are much cooler backpieces in the game, already sold mine.

FSP will not end up in top 3 because unfortunately the very best they can do in any week, is come 2nd to Gandara, so will lack points in the table, it’s the way the cookie crumbles, Anet still need to fine tweak these systems.
WRONG, FSP will be #2 with 29 points in that scenario.

Weakest classes in downstate seems to be mesmer and elementalist to me.
Weakest donwstate that has 100% imunity to the first stomp in the teamfight…. right
The engy is probably the weakest cause he is easy to stomp + pathetic damage that prevents win in the downfight 1v1.

Remove the leaderboards from solo queue or create an unrated queue. This will instantly stop the majority of the complaints about Skyhammer.
I dont see how removing meaningless leaderboards make anyone like the map.
In addition to the above reasons, I believe that removing the leaderboards from Solo Queue would increase the amount of teams being formed because there are people seeking recognition on the Solo Queue leaderboards (even though they are broken) who would now move to team queue.
On EU a lot of people play Team Queue solo instead of Solo Queue , so again this barely solves anything.
It’ll most likely happen again this year, and they’ll probably fold in some of the Chinese version changes into this version (ie. slower leveling, more locks on abilities, etc).
Grinding, nerfing, and outright removing (without compensation) is easier to implement than making quality content.
There is no point in those changes since everyone and their grandma has multiple 80 lvl characters.

This is 2 months of equivalent living story. We see that the LA attack series was shorter, and you can make an ascended back piece at the end with some other materials. I see no reason why Hero’s couldn’t have been exotic and Mistforged couldn’t have been ascended, or at the least have some similar promotion scheme to the LA attack LS.
That said, I really like that at least we have options to avoid spending 2 months of meta on an exotic, and instead get something else.
The reason is that you dont get ascended backpack out of nothing you have to spend considerable ammount of gold/materials and have 500 lvl of armorcrafting. If Arena would go the same way with the weapons it would take you hundreds of gold to get it anyway.

Nope, there is little skill if any in cheesy OP builds which become avialable in WvW. Playing some stuff like d/p thief it’s basically impossible to die if you are carefull.
How do you survive elementalists fresh air burst builds if you can’t survive a necro auto attacking? They can do 15k ish damage in 2 seconds. I’m just wondering cause everything else your saying is just so bias no one should even respond to it.
Actually a perfect burst combo kills a heavy golem with 22k hp and 2,597 armor in 2 seconds with 98% of damage during 1 second.
Dodging? What are you talking about? If you can dodge while downed, do it.
I mean the stomper can dodge the cc from downed oponent to save a bit of time (and vs engy/war its enough to prevent them from using 3rd ability).
Stomper has already invested the time to down the opponent, I think the stomper should win.
Then Anet probably should remove stomp button from heavy bunkers cus they cant kill stuff. lol Or even from anyone without significant damage contribution and their buffs/debufs should not affect stomper/downed dude.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but the majority of downed skills are useless regardless of what anyone else is doing.
So whats the point in dumbing down the game and making this situation even worse by removing one of the few contereplays?
Btw you cant counter stability by Vengence because you wont live long enough to use it most of the times besides you will probably die anyway.
mitigated by the insane healing given by Shadow Refuge + Shadows Protector + Shadows Rejuvenation.
