They could just disable ranked off-season. Everyone gets put in unranked —> better queues, better matches?

Only if they disable the really annoying maps (Skyhammer, Courtyard) on unranked.

I have found that most toxic community are those players who are high enough to be almost top players. Those who are learning are supportive and I have occasionally been grouped with high end players and found them to be silent or very nice. The worst are those who are almost really good and frustrated that they aren’t and can’t figure out why so they blame matchmaking and others.

In my experience the most toxic players are those who are below average but think they are good. Because they think they are good they blame their team for the lose and even for their own failures.

How does matchmaking and rank points work?

Matchmaking is mainly based on mmr and only to a small part based on rank, but 5k is nothing to worry about. In higher ranks 5k is only ¼ of a single rank.

Anybody explain to me why every mesmer ive met today has been able to blow me up in 2-5seconds today? ive not had any problems with mesmers recently now every mesmer seems to be god tier

You get killed in a few seconds, but how is this related to stealth?

and if the engie spreads his turrets out then what? most of the time they put them on clifs and areas out of reach. I play necro and even if I pop everything I have its not enough to kill the engie especially if they still take a kit.. usually the one with shield.

As a necro you shouldn’t have any problem with most engies, especially with this build. They have nearly no condition clear. Bomb them with conditions and watch them die.

The Pure Turret Engi could also leave turrets mid, go to wherever help is needed, drop a crate/CC a bit. gg.

The Turret Engi away from his Turrets is an easy prey. Turrets without the Turret Engi are easy to take out. You should take advantage of such an situation.

Superior Rune of the Krait is Bugged

The Tooltip of the 6th Rune says 30 seconds Cooldown. According to the Wiki

it is a known Bug that the Cooldown is in fact 45 seconds. I verified these Bug yesterday in the Heart of the Mists.

Could these Bug please get fixed?

I think because of the huge time zone gap between EU and NA mixed matches would be a really bad idea. Most EU Players are online while NA Players sleep/work and vice versa. So there would always one big Blob fight a few players. This would end in a 24/7 Karma-Train.

  • Make the unlocks account wide per class. Example: You have a guardian main and have unlocked all of the traits, your new guardian would automatically know these traits because your older guardian “mentored” them in the learning process. If you made a new thief though, the skills would be locked until a thief on that account unlocked those the traits. I know this would not be easy to implement, but it would be a huge QOL improvement.

The most People I know don’t have many different characters of one class, instead they have different characters of different classes. So they will gain nothing and still have to do the same boring stuff with each and every character.

I think the biggest problem with very rare drops/results/etc. is not the RNG, it is the User Experience with it. If there is a very small chance (e.g. 1:100,000) the User sees no progress. You could implement a concept similar to Black Lion Ticket Scraps. Instead of a chance of e.g. 1:100,000 for a precursor you get a chance of 1:100 for a Precursor Ticket Scrap and you need 1,000 Ticket Scraps for a precursor. So when a player throws 1,000 swords in the mystic forge, he most likely gets a couple of Ticket Scraps and sees some progress on the way to his precursor.

As anet anounced the new Trait System

“We want it to be much easier to experiment with and learn new builds as you explore the world of Tyria.”

How should this be achieved with the new Trait System???

I have many Characters (12) created before and after the new Trait System. I am mainly an WvW Player, so many of them have nearly nothing unlocked. How should I experiment with new builds? I rarely play the Characters created after the new Trait System, because they have no build. Buying all these unlocks for each and every Character is far out of reach for me. :-(

A big and (most likely) easy to implement improvement would be an account wide unlock of the traits. So you have to do this tasks only once for all your characters.

List of things I don’t like

  • Things that took very long (Map completion, Personal Story, Story Modes)
  • Things that are rarely available (Overgrown grub)

And most of all. That I have to do this for each and every Twink. Doing the same annoying Stuff for many different Characters is no fun at all. :-(
