The guardian aegis icon is ruining some of the awesome shield skins when drawn. Please remove it. It serves no purpose.

I am looking for a EU server where I can find groups for AC, TA and Arah mostly. My play times vary so preferably a server where I can find groups past prime time but also a solid daytime presence.

What is this dance you speak of. We are only aware of GvG and Fireworks Duels. We do accept Boat Wars on rare days.

Was not on yesterday after the patch but this evening i saw these new AC in use.

The range on them is insane. You can not get close to a door without AC hitting you a mile out. Cripple = gg.

The normal AC damage isn’t to bad but Supp AC…why use any other siege. This is going to encourage range siege warfare which was boring to begin with. Noone is going to come out to attack your Catas or trebs when they have tons of AC aimed at the broken wall. Cant even stealth in to portal if someone has 75 points in the line.

Imo this needs a nerf or rework.

We, or should I say former SFR guilds, dominated for 5 straight weeks and we would have kept that going for more. But as others have said Anet decision to open free transfers to a T1 server completely killed the server.

Fine PRXM, MM etc have not wiped us. Only CHvc and that was one evening in hills. Had some good fights with those guys.

Also on the point of ‘learn’ etc. We started out as a small guild. We worked on ways to improve our game play by working as one. When people saw us on the field taking on equal or bigger forces and going about our business people started to apply to the guild. We recruited and became a big guild and from that point have never gone backwards.

What my guild members are trying to say is there are still good fights to be had in this match up. You shouldn’t stop or think why bother. There was a thread someone posted of a guy asking about gear. This shows you guys want to learn and if you got any questions then I will answer them myself to you (this is not me being arrogant).DZ never gave up yesterday, they kept coming wave after wave.

Everyone wants to be challenged and find ways to improve, that includes us. XxX run with numbers similar to what GH guilds runs with and look at what they do.

Yeah… mmm wait every time I see a VCY alone, he runs away, is this skill too? Well, I suppose you need to be skilled to run like hell.

We have perfected our positioning tactics. Here is what we do. We have our solo runner putting down multiple viels to confuse the enemy. That person then uses all his/her leaps to further the gap. This is then followed by using at least one switfness skill. Throw in a few dodge rolls for added dramatic effects. Never forget the healing skill, this si important when you are miles ahead of your opponent and in no danger of losing HP. If a friendly tower is nearby make sure to get the guards on your side. And finally if all these fails use the way point.

Can people start to clarify who their aiming that vitriol at. I appreciate that people prefer smaller fights, that is one of the main reasons VoTF came to this tier, that and the fact we were sick of the monotony of the turtle gaming ethos that many started to adopt in T1.

So, you left T1, moving on a server chosen by many other high tier’s guilds, because you wanted to avoid turtle gaming. Yeah, it makes sense!

I dissagree, SFR and Deso are falling apart because of massive blobbing and skill lag. These 2 servers had by far the largest amount of skilled guilds. I would love to see them spread out (which they are doing) to lower servers to boost the entire WvW quality and boost the entire WvW competition.

If every server has atleast 3-4 big strong guilds, WvW ladder would be quite interesting.

ps.: what you are saying ain’t our intent. We don’t want to go higher than tier 5.

The arrogance of this post is astounding.

Firstly there are plenty of quality small to medium WvW in the lower tiers. I’d like to see how your SFR and Deso guilds came out in 3v3, 5v5 or even a 10v10 without your huge amounts of Boon stacking and condition removal spamming.
Secondly if those guilds wanted high tier gameplay against the big high tier guilds…. they’d move to the higher tiers. There’s nothing worse than some arrogant guild come down into a low tier server and claim they’re here “to save the server”, or “teach us how to play wvw right”…

Secondly he never said anything about these guilds teaching lower servers how to do WvW.

Noone can control who joins and who doesn’t. We didn’t come over to RoS and then decided to call over everyone else. We will soon be out of this tier so you wont have to worry anymore. Until then have fun in anyway you can.

you lot were not exactly advocating ignoring it in T1. You all moaned continually. And with some justification.

Now you have caused issues on lower Teir servers, you can surely appreciate they may be feeling how you felt, and after all , that prompted your migration.

How did we moan in T1 thread? All our post were constructive. We never called a guild out for something and if someone from VcY did i apologized in game to the guild leader.

As for causing troubles in this tier. The previous thread was full of humor from us and our RP post. As for the match up itself, we had a fun match up and im sure GH will agree . The issue from where i sit is the extra guilds coming to RoS. We can’t prevent that and fact is noone can.

Hey guys, at the beginning i would like to thank all of you for yesterday’s afternoon and night, i think that we all had some great fights there. Today morning/night is bit different story. I would just like to ask VcY and Riot. Yes great job on caping whole EB with 6 golems and 30+ ppl against 4-5 enemies. But dont you feel bit lonely doing that? Our surveillance teams have told us that GH have been pulling every one on a given map to one spot just to fight us. We sent a squad over to GH bl to see if this was true. I think we all know the answer to that. It also seemes like RoF did the same.

We are flattered that you feel the need to do this server wide event just for us. It shows us that we have made a positive impact on this match up. So in return we had a community event of our own in EB. I would like to thank RoF for constantly coming out to fight us while we were circling the outer wall of SM. And thank you to GH for being part of our EB farming event.

Guilds are actually moving to T3 servers because the tier is offering great fights. I don’t think any guild that transfered is interested in creating a new ‘mega server’ you’re talking about.

Involuntarily it has. Now if the guilds stop playing for points and just fight then yea PS won’t be going anywhere. But they could have spread out amongst the 3 servers in the tier.

T2 play style with Elona Reach, from what I remeber, is almost the same as VS. And I don’t need to remind you of the T1 playstyle.

correct me if im wrong but didnt PS community split because some guilds wanted to go up a tier and some not. Thats why some PS guilds joined SFR. On a less serious note, good fights so far, shame I only get blues, greens and spikes and seem to drop precursors to the enemy.

I don’t know if there is some weird internal rating thing going on with Vcy players being former T1 vs me a T8 player but I get great loot from you guys.

I’ve had 3 exotics and a whole bunch of rares but still the standard blue/greens from everyone else.

As the former head of the compensation department here at Velocity corporation let me clear this up.

We are running full MF gear which is having an adverse reaction. Instead of giving us loot it is giving our rivals loot. This is further complicated with the MF bonfire.

But hey, how else will our rivals pay for repair bills. We look out for other corporations.

As the self appointed HR manager of Velocity corporation i would like the thank both servers for providing us with so much gold that our company profit has jumped by 115%. That is a 115% increase from last years numbers. Our shareholders are really pleased.

Also good defense of hills and bay tonight. Props to FRS for holding hills and the guys on me holding bay.

As the self appointed public relations manager of Velocity Corporation let me clear up a few things.

We transfered from SFR, which had the best WvW community not because we are server hoppers but because T1 was not enjoyable anymore. This was due to free transfers and the introduction of Wexp.

Like many corporations we need to take into account our shareholders interests. We had a meeting and came to a decision to transfer if we wanted to prevent our corporation from going under. There is no particular reason as to why we joined RoS. Some of our employees were already on the server and said it would be a good fit for us and allow us to do what we want to do since the problems of T1 began.

We are not here to cause problems or disrupt the peace. We are here to have fun and do what we do best. Creating the biggest fireworks zerg, dolly racing, golem duels and our favourite…boat wars (still unbeaten).

My name is Sird, self appointed Human Resource manager and Public Relations manager of Velocity Corporation.

We have had a lot of fun these past few days in WvW since transferring. We came to T8 to get away from the huge map blobs that exist in T1 and that have made T1 unplayable. We, along with RiOT, came here to have fun and play as a guild once again. Something we could not do in T1 because of queues after the free transfers.

We are not a elitist or egotistical bunch of people. We will work with the community and answer any questions people may have regarding WvW.

So far this match up has been great. Not just in game but on the forums as well. Something that T1 was greatly lacking.

May this continue for the remaining days and for the future.

I’m curious, how droping a tier will fix the situation? I don’t get it? Maybe you will loose some noobs, but you risk loosing guilds that are serious about the game and want to enjoy it. It will take you 2-3 weeks to drop. I find it hard to imagine WvW-focused guilds will be ok after that. Sure, they might have said so on your server meeting, but this can change in an instant…
This is really hilarious way of aproaching your problem. SFR always complained it is low on manpower. Now you finally got the manpower and you can’t handle it. Hilarious.

Almost every wvw focused guild have left SFR.
