Opened 43 chest and got my token. Also got charr backpiece an pink quaggan. Ihope they keep these fused tokens in the chest. Something this good should be hard to obtain and give the player a sense of joy and relief when they finally get one.

How can anyone play like this. Its zone v zone v zone. If you try and go around with your guild you run into a full blob. Hope this settles down fast.

If you had a choice of taking T1 structures over a T3 with VS style defending what would you choose? We came for your tower (cata in tunnel, trebs at ruin) we had 3 guilds focusing on it. But at that time with Deso having nothing to defend with it was a easy decision.

I’M surprised Deso didn’t show up to defend their home.

The timer should have an element of randomness to it and it should be hidden to the players so the timer can’t be abused and exploited. Let’s start making WvW more about PvP.

This sounds like something that was used in Aion and if that’s the case then why didn’t they do this sooner. All they had to do is reach out to their NC Soft colleagues.

I didn’t realise IRON had its own server, but no I’m not, don’t see how VoTF are a bandwagon guild either, they joined Deso when we were 2nd and about to drop to third place, you however joined SFR after the mass influx of guilds and players and shot up to tier 1, you are singlehandedly the definition of a bandwagoner

SFR would have got to T1 regardless of the new guilds. They did not help us get to it. They have helped us stay in the tier and compete.

This is my own opinion.

You VS guys take your side of the map and then sit in your towers waiting for night or early morning to cap everything else. During the afternoon and evening you guys are nowhere to be seen. To me your to scared to make moves during the day and so what for people to go to sleep ans golem rush everything. If we actually see you guys trying to assert pressure during the day then you would have more respect from us.

During the day it’s SFR v Deso, and at night SFR v VS.

Yes , you can speak for both of us , but focusing on VZ doesnt mean that we dont fight Deso ppl. We will fight them even they outnumber us 2 to 1(iron), because we are playing WvW for the hard fights and not only for the easy badges(also to have a nice badge-break ,none hurts). To be honest , we are looking for guilds like GH or Votf while we are raiding and we will engage into the battle no matter the numbers ,but as for sieging ,we mainly focus VZ and then Deso. We would love to have a nice 3 way war with an other server like Deso.

On thursday RG asked us if we could leave VS bl so they could have a gvg with GH. We stayed on the map coz the match up was not over and as a result the gvg was cancelled. (Sry RG).

Pls dont think VcY told these pugs to interfere, I andd alot of members were spamming map chat for people to leave or stand high up on the hill.

We have a good relationship with Riot so I doubt any of them jumped in during the fights. As for the guy dropping the rams, he applied to VcY and got rejected and couldn’t handle it. Trust me we were angry as well.

I recorded all 3 fights and will make a video so you guys can see what happened, and at least clear some things up.

We could go round in circles about guilds joining/leaving. I was just making a simple point that it is not reasonable to call us weak, simply as we have not enjoyed the big influx of new guilds u guys have.

I’ll explain the poor tactics, if I was in your position I would be trying to get everyone on my server to focus vizunah. I don’t mind as we are just trying to find good fights. This was impossible last night, especially against Mos as we could not use even one skill against them due to ridiculous lag.

I never said Deso are weak, I know the guilds you have.

These new guilds have made us stronger, just like the old FPS guilds made BT stronger. But we are not riding on the shoulders of them. The new guilds are fitting in well and contributing to the server.

And it was obvious we were heading to T1. These new guilds joined us the week before we got on. Previous to that we had won every T2 match up. If it wasn’t this week it would have been next week.

Y its sluggish, might have something to with this login error who knows. Everyother site works just fine.

And yes i saw the Anet post in that forum section but my point is they use twiiter first then the forum.

Like i said i had to go to MMORPG to get information on the interview they had about the upcoming March WvW changes and that was because a player from the community linked it. Was it so hard for a Anet def to link it. Same thing about the guild missions.

Everyone who plays GW has access to the forums not everyone has access to twitter.

Why dont ANet use these forums to let players know whats going on? For example the login servers are down and as a result alot of players cant log in. I came to the forums to see if Anet had said anything on the matter and i could not find anything. Instead i find players quoting from GW2 twitter page. I myself, and im guessing alot of us, dont have twitter. So why dont Anet use these forums to inform players of whats going on?

Also its not just things like this but even information about updates. I had to read the article on MMORPG that they had about the WvW changes coming in March.

Wonder how many VS players got kicked from the game from this log in server issue. 0 defenders on your home map. Its a real shame.

They faced servers with all timezones also nightcapping, that’s more a good organization than nightcapping.

Giving free towers is pretty sad tho and give haters a real reason to whine about VS.

I don’t believe that. The only server that caused them problems was BT which had a really strong morning crew. SFR caused them problems after that. They have good organisations thats true. But they have never had 2 servers with good time coverage to face. This will be Vizunahs biggest test.

This thread has really devolved into name dropping and petty bickering. I’d like someone to actually address a guild that is the total package and not just “awesome at open field”. I’ve said it before; RG is a fun fight in the open field, but they don’t really take points.

Motion to rename the thread: “Best Projected Guilds at GvG”

Come to our match up, RG do take points. I’m not part of RG but i think they went to NA just for fights not to take towers and keeps.

While they can be part of assaults, it’s not because they want to get whatever it is thats being assaulted, but because “oh, hey, enemies!”, and i imagine it’s the same with defense.

Nah i have seen these guys take empty towers and less defended keeps etc. I guess they fight when they know the score is ok and take stuff if things are looking grim and they want to stay in the bracket for more fights.

Guess when i played alongside them, there were plenty of other good guilds keeping us up? :p

we will not win this tier 1, so we will go down few tiers below everyone that wins their tier this week.
so deliberately dropping a tier might not be the best idea after all eh?

This is why we are dropping down. Not to avoid t1 but to avoid the lower tiers.

Surely the guilds on PS would have known what was going to happen as they went up in the rankings. Just look at what happened to other international servers. You guy’s aren’t the only ones unable to get everyone into wvw. Guilds constanly in T1-T2 have had this problem for months. It didn’t help being the only medium populated international server left before the reset though.

VcY are not a forum warrior guild, how many times have you seen us on the forums? We came on to say we have had some of the best fun in the past few days while SFR are on a break and wanted to share that. Milkz might have had a bit more fun then most of us lol.

We have worked hard on our field fighting and trying to get pugs to join TS like you do on VS. SFR are trying to organise and improve our community further. And we ourselves are trying to improve (we are not RG, ZD, OSC, MOS etc).

It’s no surprise that we don’t like VS for reasons others have mentioned, but we do recognise what has been achieved. It is a shame no other server can match your coverage to make match ups more interesting.

Lets keep this clean and end with a bang!

So refreshing and enjoying to see organized guilds in enemy server. It is really fun to play in T1 against. Finally we face server with equal numbers.
Spent most of the time on Eternal Battlegrounds. Noticed VcY, NR (new guild from where?) on SFR and MN (from Arborstone right?).
Had a blast while defending Klovan which was full of holes :P
