About CnD→BS rotation; i don’t see this as a big problem now since they nerf mug.
in SPVP the space where you have to fight is very reduce compared to WvW, This makes thief really vulnerable for AOE attacks.
About the condi removal, i see your point but the problem is that thief has nothing else to remove condition (at least a functional one) than this.

Let me guess, you are a warrior trying to roam in WvW that constantly got killed by a thief.
All because you dont know how to stand in the circle of black powder to stop the stealth chain.

Iam a lvl 40 active pvp player.
Anyways, now with the new changes in most of the classes i can freely say that thief is not even in the top 5 professions to spvp.
Actually now the only good thing that thieves have is the roaming in WvW.

If Terromancer is so OP with his combo.
If A Ranger Pet master is so OP with his alsmot instant healing
If a engi excels defending and attacking an specific area (can kill 3 easily)
If guardians . . . . well there a lot of OP things with them ill not say more.
If mesmer are good for every in the game (bust, heal, def, condition, CC, party support )
If Warriors hit like a truck with the burst combo (the highest AOE DPS ) and invencibility after it.
If Ele has a greate balance (like guardian)
Why is Anet constantly nerfing thieves if they are not even close to be as good as previous calses in spvp.
I really dont get the 4 seconds revelades in spvp.
You killed almost every single build of the thieves with the patches, now that thief is not the best choice in spvp…

This is the most important: Stand on the blind field that the thief use to stealth with heart seeker. Is a small red circle than blinds you, but if you stand there the thief will hit you and you will be able to see him also you will mess their entire iniciative bar.

Don’t let the thief get close to you, he will try to use CnD, this skills hits you and stealth the thief. if the thief fails this skill will lost a lot of iniciative.

I have no comments, since the only tricky mechanic is the CnD (same has the D/D advise).
Keep a distance from him, that will helps a lot.
For other builds I will not comment since are not being used often.
General:
2.- Use root: Root a thief, even if he goes stealth you can still hit him like nothing.
3.- If he goes invisible after 2-3 seconds dodge, he will try to backstab you in that moment because is the duration of stealth.
4.- Go tanky in WvW. most of the players that complain here are noobs in full berserker armor that dies with one backstab. The same happens to GC thieves.
Ranger is a perfect example of this, the best Ranger are the Tank pet master, almost impossible to kill when well played, and are incredible underwater killers.
5.- KEEP MOVING!!! This is the wrost L2P case of all. People specially Mesmer and rangers just stand up and hit, is very easy to us just backstab you.
If you keep moving will be very hard to us to hit you in the back, and because of that our damage will be a lot less.
A thief will never backstab a good player when it does this well.
6.- Use Cripple or chill. This are devastating for a thief. a thief with no movility is dead, we have no defense.
There is nothing special about thieves, the problem is that people wants to fight them as they fight a warrior.
Is the same case for Mesmer and ele, you must know the mechanics otherwise they will always win.
All this QQ thief nerfs is because they couldn’t catch a thief trolling a 20 people zerk.
Their pride doesn’t let them just go on and take a bigger goal like a tower.

People like @TheGuy will never stop crying because his pride was damage.
Lets be honest, all your crying is because a thief killed you or you could kill a thief than just run away.

And yes a warrior can 1 shot kill you only if you are full glass canon, but it takes more than 10k when u r mixed zerk and valk with full SA.

Last night 3 of us tried to kill perma stealth thief ofc we fail,its easy to kill bad ones but any deacent player that does not need to be super uber korean wunderkid can go form stealth to stealth and again.
How do you think we feel when a Elemental runs in mist form inside of a castle and we never kill him?
How do you think we feel when a warrior 1 shot us with rifle?
How do you think we feel when a phantom Mesmer destroys us in 1 second?
How do you thing we fell when a Retaliation Guardian just laugh of our damage?
How do you think we feel when a Engineer throws his package on our heads, stunts and beat us?
If you couldn’t kill that thief is because you don’t know how to play against them.
When he uses the blind field (small red circle) step inside, he will hit you and will be revealed, also he will not have any iniciative, then you can kill him very very easy.
Use root and stunt, he will scape one time but not the second one.
Use AOE after you root or stunt, even if they disappear they are still in the same place rooted.
I have been beat by every single class in this game with really good player . . .
So I’m really honest when I say this . . . don’t come and cry if your problem is clearly a l2p problem.

Every profession has a great build for roaming but maybe is not good as a thief . . . the same is comparing a thief with a warrior in a dungeon.

About animation . . really cool, but honestly I never tried another race.
About weapon size . . . really bad, the weapon size is a joke, even more with pistols and daguers.

I have fought really good P/D (a lot better than WB) and D/P > P/D.
You just have to perma stealth and Backstab.
No daze, you let him CnD a lot of times . . .
You are a good thief player but u both didint play well this battles.
I play 90% solo in WvW.
I can say the only clan i respect is @SPCA (i exactly dont remember the letter xD).
They often offers a good 1v1 fight with no fear and not zerging.
@XOXO is a joke . . . they see me alone and they dont ever come on 1v1 . . . and if they do at the moment ill kill the guy the others come to help.

I use to play Diablo 3, and i have never been that dissapointed with any company in my life.
Is just amazing how different are the things bewteen Blizzard and ArenaNet.
People like Josh Foreman that continues helps and answers users makes me feel that i really made an exelent purchase for this game.
The game updates like SAB, The graphics, the content, the classes, the different ways you can play this is just aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamazing.
I actually buy gems just because i like the company, just to thank them how serious they take their job.
This is the MMO i have play, and i hope people take the time like me to let the staff involve that we really appreciate what they do.
I dont really what to talk trash about Diablo 3 and Blizzard . . . but it is impossible since i have ArenaNet to compare. It is what it is.
Well anyways . . . thank you again, keep like this and you will have a client for the rest of my gaming life.

I think it’s an excellent game, too. It’s not perfect, but nothing is, and what makes ArenaNet so cool is their willingness to adapt and change. I’ve never seen an MMO that’s been worked on so much in such a short time since launch, so I do believe Colin was right when he talked about “an expansion’s worth of content.” In many other games, a lot of the issues they’ve addressed and plan to address over the current months would have been done in a big pre-expansion patch.

I love this company as i do with google, is just amazing the quality of the products and the price relation is really nice.
I know this game will a lot better with time (now is perfect for me), that makes me fell secure to keep playing and getting equipment constantly.

I want to take the time to give my opinion to Guild Wars 2 Team.
I have play a lot of games and iam a system developer and i can say that this is the best MMO and online game i have ever play.
I can only play 1-2 hours daily, and every time i loging i find a new stuff that makes me feel that is a completly new game. This game protects the hard workers xD, i dont need to spend 12 hours to be someone in game.
I want to make a comparison, Diablo 3 at same cost is the perfect way to see what quality product you can get for the same amount of money.
the difference is just AMAZING, Diablo 3 looks like a free android game with no pasion, with noob bugs and no common sence with items (Sorry for people thats likes Diablo 3, is only my opinion).
Note: i know they are different kind of games, iam talking only for what you can get for the same amount of money.
Guild Wars 2 is just toooooooo good to be truth.
-No need to P2Win (I buy gems only because i love this company and they deserve it).
-Customization is just amazing, from traits, skills, armors, weapons.
-Has the best PVE faaaaaaaaaar i have ever seen (Puzzles makes me cry xD, good way).
-Pve, WvW, SPVP . . . make a choice.
-Updates are really updates, not only basic changes or easys stuff, ArenaNet really knows the meanin of high content.
Iam known as a hater in Diablo3 forums, and i think to myself, why the heck will not be a hater with this bad product.
ArenaNet change me; now i know what a game company should give to his costumers for the money they pay.
