Bone Crack – stun pls yes
Consume Plasma – gain all boon – hell yea
Ice Shard Stab – 2-3k dmg and chill which slower cd and movement – omg
Mace Head Crack – daze mmm…yummy
Skull Fear – just op
Throw Gunk – random condition and ethereal combo field which can do confusion
Whirling Axe – just love it with 6-8k dmg while reflect
Blinding Tuft – life saver and life taker

i can see why only F1 is bit boring while other have f1-f4 abilities so if we want f2-f4 we need to KIS – keep it simple

f2 – Last Refuge – remove from trait and make it actively useable
f3 – Hard to Catch – remove from trait and make it actively useable
f4- Instinctual Response – remove from tait and make it actively useable

those trait are hardly useful or valuable as they tend to mess up our timing while popup in the wrong time
and instead of the traits above we can get more group sharing boons or venoms trait or p/p trait etc

The difference is that in those videos the thief is a really good player no clicking skills and timing perfectly with no mistakes against low lvl bad players.

Show me a video with a thief killing good players 3v1 and i will give you the reason.

Show me a video with a thief clicking skills killing 3v1 and i will give you the reason.

Show me a video of a thief in a middle of a big zerg spamming CC and AOE damage without dying in 3 seconds and i will give you the reason.

The most amazing thing of the video is that the guy is not even the best warrior in the world as you all see and still manage to spam AOE skills like a picnic day.

I have months without buying any gems as i did before to support Anet . . . would you support a game after watching this?

Don’t get me wrong i still love the game but this days i don’t feel any motivation to keep playing the profession i want just because every patch i got nerfed.

This has to stop, Anet can not keep killing this profession with the OP argument when this is happening.

I have never seen a tank thief doing this AOE sustain damage, CC without dying in 1 second.

The problem is that Anet listen to the wrong players (bad player than only kill mobs with #1).

The thief only excel killing bad players with no clue on thieves mechanics.

I have never seen a good player complaining about thieves, only bad players does.

And because of that is the current meta where thief is not good for anything but roaming and scaping.

Warriors? good AT EVERYTHING . . . why? because Anet listen to the wrong players (most of them play warrior because is the most easy prof).

- The best for dungeons
- The best for SPVP
- The best for for WvW (summary)

Swords are fine, and also legendary dagger.

But effects on weapons are way beyong better in other weapons.

The new 2H sword woth bats is really cool, why we dagger users can not have something like that?

I play mainly as a thief, and i found all dagger design really poor.

Swords, 2H-Sword and shields has the best skins and the game.

I work 10 hr daily and i go out often to drink and party.

I love playing games but is very hard to be 5 hr crafting or grinding (things i don’t enjoy).

You should make weapons like accessories, expensive as hell but at least the people like us that works can get them with the time.

It seems you only listen to other professions QQ but rangers, ele and thieves.

My issues with the meta stun war are this:

-Stuns+Berserker Stance means wars can hard-counter classes like fear necro and and D/P thieves extremely well without much risk.

-Over-abundant access to stuns is far too forgiving. In gw1 if a ham-bash war missed even 1 of his KD’s then he was punished hard for it. In gw2 that’s not the case.

Honestly, though, I like seeing warriors in the meta since they’re pushing necros out and even spirit ranger to an extent. I’d much rather fight a warrrior skilled at interrupting and chain-stunning than mindless 78903451111111111111

I want to take the time to tell my story because i was really frustrated with my Low FPS issue with a new computer i bought.

Computer Description:

i5 3470
8 GB DDR3 1333 MHz
ATI 6870 HD 1 GB DDR5

So basically my computer symptoms were:

- On the first 30 seconds GW2 shows 80 fps . . . and after that it drops to 20 or 30.
- GPU Usage showed 0% usage (viewed with GPU-Z software)
- CPU USage was 100%
- GW2 crashes when i change the video performance configuration.

I did every single thing i found in the forums:

- Reinstall drivers
- Reinstall windows
- Overclock everything i could overclock.
- A lot of different graphic configurations from Catalyst software (ATI) and Gw2.
- Check different RAM memory.

I could go on but i know do you care much what i fail trying and you want my solution.

It was a weird CPU overheating issue.

My fan was not well set in one corner, so the general temperature and performance of my CPU was displayed as correctly but the moment i open GW2 or any other high performance game the computer starts to slow down a lot!

I repeat, all my tools showed my system working correctly, even temperature, but that missing plug in the corner was screwing all.

At the moment i re install the CPU fan correctly . . . bingo game was running sweet and smooth.

I know this is an stupid story but i hope i can help some one having a similar issue.

And sorry Anet, i use to hate you this week because i thought it was a problem of the game at beginning xD.

Back on topic, thieves are the class that is capable of OHKOing anybody. Keep in mind that in return, they can basically only take like 2-3 autoattacks back. I’ve had thieves come and spike me for 10k, only to get downed after two flails of my hammer.

It has been known countless times, thieves over extreme attacks are capable of “death ripping” through any bunker class builds; obviously not only to bunk warr.

If you were to ask me how many times i’ve seen a bunk guardian in parties being instantly killed by a thief, i would answer, far too many.

Seriously,

As the saying goes, “it doesn’t take a rocket science to know”, any class whose capable of hitting 11k-38k per hits is a joke to armour.

Even thieves in guilds can hit easily hit these numbers within 1 minutes.

I encourage you to post this in thier forums and they will completely agree with me.

Start over. Rank progression was implemented so badly and left for so long that you need to create a new system that rewards tourney wins and ignores custom/hot join. Tie the rewards to the new Rank system that actually rewards playing the game correctly instead of gaming the system.

i don’t care also much for the levels . . . but OP is correct, a lot of people feel proud of their ranking in this sucks for them obviously.

The only thing i care is that we struggle to get some items bound to the ranking that we really fought to have.

Skyhammer seems to damage SPVP in a lot of ways.

The only option i see now the damage is done . . . is to create another skill/ranking measure unit.

I quess I can’t speak for you. I play that stun warrior nowdays and it does feel op as hell. I can be very effective, much more effective than on my mesmer, even if I have never played any other warrior build (except troll shot in wvw). Quess I’m naturally talented warrior.
S/d I do not play that much (I used to roam with tactical strike based build in wvw though, like 6 months ago), but my understanding is that (after speaking to people who run it) it is indeed borderline op when used by someone who knows what he is doing. It may not be as easy to pick up as the stun warrior, but op nevertheless.

What is a tactical strike based build??? never seen that name before.

First . . . this is a SPVP forum, perma stealth in WvW is really strong killing 1v1 noob players i agree, but is the only thing that thief is good at.

Second . . . Tactical strike is a great skill but you have to be very careful because it can dry your ini.

the complains from S/D are not for tactical strike, are for the evades on demand it has.

Sorry but it seems you play thief only a few hours and never get really deep into.

I have seen that most of the QQ post asking to nerf thieves comes from warriors.
