I see a lot of ‘touting’ for new guild members in game, these forums seem dead for recruitment.

I consider myself a casual player, who can play all day, who enjoys most aspects of the game. I am familiar with all the maps but I haven’t really had the chance to participate in dungeons/fractures or WvW … not really interested in PvP … can happily cheer on the sidelines if needed though. ;-)

I have a few characters at lvl 80, Necromancer (MM) being my favorite to play, have a varied playing experience with most of the others classes. I cannot play thief, or Messmeup, tried, just not me.

I do have my own guild I use as a bank … more than happy to ‘represent’ new guild

looking for a guild to call home with a degree of mature people … growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional … a nice atmosphere rather than just ability to do in game content would be a plus. Not adverse to using TeamSpeak.

UK time zones, English is my preferred language of communication. I am looking forward to hearing from any guild that might fit the bill. Catch me in game or reply on a £100 note and post it to me via in-game-mail. ;-)

OK, thanks for all the help! I’m afraid GW2 may not be for me. I’m pretty bad at dodging, historically.

I turned off the ‘auto-dodge’ got fed up of dodging with normal movement … if you do get downed, and even die, the good people around you will probably assist in healing you again.

I have, since the game launched, been able to, somewhat, dodge … but it has to be a very conscious effort on my part to do so. I usually just, RUN!

I still play my MM, I just watch what the minions are doing, and try and move into a better position … at least not attacking is better then the FleshGolem running off the map and bringing a train back for you to fight like a bad dog.

You are in a category of players that are more susceptible to “motion sickness” in video games than others … more correctly referred to as “simulator sickness,” since, unlike traditional cases of motion sickness, your queasiness isn’t triggered by actual movement.

It’s been brought up before and ANet did try to improve the situation. Many believed, however, it was just made worse.

I only do jumping puzzles, if I happen over one with my lead Asura … even then, you can get the same problems happening.

I didn’t know much about Taimi, knew a new NPC character had come on the scene, and I love the Asura characters but I have all but stopped playing … I suffer from Transverse Myelitis … the initial attack was in my neck, C1-C2, so from there on down I’m partially paralysed. If I have a subsequent attack, they’ll change the ‘tag’ to MS.

I never understood why anyone would find gathering in video games fun. There are so many ways to gather and the best way they can think of is to run around with an axe chopping a tree.
