I think Earth Storm used to be a Blast or Whirl Finisher, so that is why it has such long CD. Then Anet see it being too strong decided to put no more finisher on Storm, but forget to put its CD to match the change.

Think of its the other way around. With the old leaderboard,let say you are at 96% and you soloQ, you lose to a team that has lv1 in there.Go check your leaderboard after the match, you cry out loud. Your rank drop to 80% after just 1 single match. You happy??I certainly not.

Phantasm Mesmer is the best in1v1 where you sit back, relax and let your phantasm eat away anyone that stand in your way.In team fight, not that good.

Don’t go hot join, go tPvP and you will see. Find yourself a decent team and you will have A LOT of close match. Solo queue is ok too but sometimes you will find game that is not good. My 2 cent.

While it is true from what you said, but it goes both way. Other class also has easier time to land their burst as well. At this state, yes, we don’t need to run sigil of Energy since it is not needed, leave space for some diversity. But assume, Vigor got nerfed, then Eles will be forced to use Energy, leave no room for other choice. Then since Eles is the only class that can abuse this sigil the most, there will definitely be more QQ post about Eles being OP for being the class that has many dodges plus healing, ask for more nerf. How does it help?Then how does nerf Vigor will stop Thief spam skill 3 and Ranger S/D spam their skill to evade attack?? They don’t give Vigor at all?? Will it solve the problem at hand?Frankly put, no.

Ele really isn’t one of the problem classes. Most eles get by just fine with just the vigor on crit trait and do not excessivly stack other forms of endurance regen (such as the sigils or other traits) and do not have multiple low cd passive evade skills. Why does everyone get so defensive about thier class even when an argument is not even dirrected at it. Jeez

While it is true that classes like thief and ranger rely on evades for defense (in contrast to a warrior’s high base stats or an ele’s many heals) it does not mean that the current state of endurance refill stacking + low (or no) cd evades is balance OR even fun to play against/play (matter of opinion blah blah). It’s too strong; the ways a class can gain endurance need to be limited along and skills the passivly evade need to be put on longer CDs. Of coarse it would then be fine to buff other aspects of skills that passivly evade in order to make them more than skills that are mashed off CD when your edurance is low.

Nerf vigor (both the boon and access to it), edurance on swap mods, and passive evade skills plox.

I am not being defensive, but any form of nerf is unwelcomed, if not at all whether it is directed or not. Everyone keep talking about balancing, but most likely ask nerf this, nerf that. How is it be fun to anyoneHow is it made everyone better How is it gonna help to make the game to be competitive?? Nerf Vigor, that is not a small nerf, it is a MASSIVE nerf. WAR Stun 100B now can 1 hit people, Thief BS kill in 1s,Mesmer burst down in less than 5s, etc… Pretty much the battle will ends in less than 5s. How is that entertaining to watch?? While I agree with you right now, some class takes ages to take down other class, but I also don’t see the point where everything ends so quickly either. My suggestion is to leave Vigor as it is, but take 1 or Evade from Weaponset and give every class got access to Vigor one way or another. Vigor is not the problem, the evade built in weapon set is the CORE of the problem.

Well, put all the argument aside, please tell us how to survive as an Eles while we are not as healthy as Warrior, not as tanky as Guardian, not as mobile as thief nor as burst dam kittenter. We are squishy as a Fish, deal dams as wet noodle, with Health pool as low as a joke whilst being forced into meele. So please tell us Eles how to survive with the idea??

I live in Aus and always am experience high ping patch after patch after patch. But after the last patch, the game becomes unplayable whether it is PvE or PvP. I believe that low ping is essential for the game such as Guild Wars 2. I only have 2 options to choose, one transfer to the server that has lower ping, I don’t know which, second, I have to quit the game until the company decided to open an Oceania Server. My net from speed test is 1.5 mb per second downloading and upload is 0.5 mb/s.

I can not suggest what you should get or what not. Instead, the advice will be more focus on how to use your budget wisely. So you said, you have 1200$ to spend on a comp. Here is how u should spent:

1/ Choose the Graphic card (around 300-400$), you already have a top perform graphic card.

2/ Choose Motherboard, (200$), since graphic card will do most of the work, so to save money, you can just go for a above average motherboard. Prefer to have 2 slot Graphic cards, 4 slots ram for further update.

3/ Choose the Chip (i5 or i7), roughly around 200-300$

4/ Choose the power supply,since you want as much as you can from your graphic card, so I suggest buy an external one instead of using one come with the cage (100-150$), you have the top brand power supply with enough voltage to handle 2 Gigabyte GTX 680 easily.

5/ Case (mid tower) 80-100$

6/ Ram, Fan etc (100$)

All that provided that you don’t want to build a coolant system for your comp as it will cost more than a basic one and by reducing the choice you can have with Graphic cards. Graphic card is more important than a coolant system, in my opinion for a gamers. Also, assumed that you already have monitor, keyboard and mouse ready.

I built mine for roughy 1000$ and it works nicely.

I understand that your english is bad but the point is the skill is behaving as it should have to start with and Infiltrators arrow should be “fixed” the same way imo. You want all teleports to work the same way? Fine, put 30s CDs on those weapon skills and we’ll talk.

I read but your point is invalid because FOR NOW infiltrator’s arrow works on Z-axis. And it is a weapon skill spammable not an utility skill with 30s CD.

If Anet fix infiltrator’s arrow and make a distintion between weapon skill and utility skill about how they work on z-axis is fine for me.

Obviously you miss my post, and instead of asking for a bug fix on IA, you ask to revert Phrase retreat like IA, which is not intended to be used that way. If you want the distinction bw Ult and Weapon skill, why state Blink or Flash in your first thread? It is not a big change, it is a BUG FIX, so deal with it like the rest of us. U keep saying all the teleport should work on the same way. Then I dare you to approve that move Phase retreat to Ultility skill and give it 30s Cd like other Teleport skill, not every 6s. Plus Memser already has blink on its own already. I know it is not that easy to sudden change but demanding Phase Retreat to work as other teleport skill while it is a built in weapon skill, a free stun breaker every 6s, what else do u want?? I am happy that this exploit finally got fixed. Geezzz.

Vampirism: no. I dont think this is a viable rune choice in all honesty. Its ok but….not as useful as the others.

The reason for earth being in the list due to the fact it an give an extra aura to proc with Air 1,so u have easier time to keep permanent swiftness and fury. Some extra toughness is a bonus too

Melandru is better than meh,with the current meta all about AoE conditions spam. Not that great but it deserve some notic.

Grove is about the root, it makes opponent lose tempo of the fight in a very hard expected way. No one would expect you run Grove runes to start with, plus the root make your burst easier to land with CE and BGrasp. Healing is also scale very well with Eles too. So it is a plus plus.

Vampism is funny though, it is average in my opinion, but for some fun, it is good to annoy people, though sometimes it does save me from a certain death. And leech Heath oh yeah, yummy)

Find a team and play with them most of the time would be my best advice for you right now.
