My triple kit is CC-heavy, what are you talking about? FT/Bomb/Tool packed with P/D. Unlike your Necro, we can not chain fear in 4s them and put a lot of condition on them. Fear make them run into opposite direction, lose control of them body while dams and you keep putting Condition on the, through mark… Necro and Engineer are not the same.

Yes they are sorrow…They have no stun-breaker. You can chain fear them as much as you want, like how you did to Trip Kit Engineer. Though, if you let them free with all his spirit around, you will have a really really hard time.

The problem with that opener is you wasted all your AoE resources, just to take down the AI, leaves you very vulnerable to the Ranger himself. Plus, most of the encounter you face, the Ranger will always has their spirit up and if they are killed, he simply summon another since the CD start when they summon, not when die.

Yes because of this “play style”, they realised that no matter how hard they work on their class, a spammer will always out-work them with little effort.

Also Fire is not the only culprit, the stone spirit that gives protection also powerful too when trait, you can have Protection up 90% of the time make Dps class seems like a joke to Rangers. Also with the Regen Healing, it also able to out-heal condition dams if used right. 70%, in my opinion is a bit too much to proc even when trait, maybe 50% sound more reasonable when trait. Well, that kind of just butchers it in every other style of content. In WvWvW there is so much AOE that spirits just die instantly, because power damage isn’t kitten in PvE/WvWvW.

Of course you could separate it, but I think Power Damage needs to make a comeback.

Because the playstyle isn’t viable in an environment where 20 aoes, or one arrow cart can kill all your spirits.

Yes, I agree with you with this. Spirit Ranger is crap anywhere else but save for PvP.cofc, I would like the fixes to be separated, but knowing Anet, that won’t happen unfortunately.

I don’t care whether it is nerf or buff, I would just like to see something need to be done with all this passive plays. Even you admit that there should be some adjustment to trait, conditions, etc…Then Spirit is not fine at current state. I don’t want a direct nerf to the class itself but something need to be done.

+1, Mesmer is fine as the way it is ATM. Except maybe need to take a loot at Izerker and IDuelist? Other than that, everything else is fine. However, I would love to see how this condition Madness Meta come to an end before proceed any further change.

Ok, based on my experience playing Bunker Eles over 300+games and 100+ games play as Dps Eles since fresh air trait coming out, you simply won’t beat Ranger with that build. You can not one shoot ranger with the burst Eles combo. Ranger’s Regen will out-heal your burst before you can set up another one. Your build also have low health,not enough healing power to cancel the Condi Dams,that will make you eventually go down as the fight dragging on and on… You will be defeated when go against any decent Spirit Ranger that know their stuff. While it may sounds harsh, but it is the truth. Again, maybe I am suck at the game, I don’t know.

Yes MM is powerfull in 1vs1 situations!
Personally I find mesmer clones/phantoms much more confusing (mostly because of particle effects), then MM.

MM is powerful in 1v1 situation o-O? I normally see them as free kill, save for some extremely skill. The lack of means to generate LF, Condi Removal, Breakstun, with all the weakness that a normal Necro has, I don’t see how it is powerful.

When you look at the picture, everything so clear because they are not moving. In real battle, good luck with finding a real target with all that AI moving around, also as kitten as lock target ATM, we easily lose sight of them. The only real counter for them is spam AoE until they are gone. And I am talking about when yo don’t have AoE, finding them is a pain on the neck.

Mesmer Phantasm/Clone is easy , because they are stand still. And what particle effect are you talking about?Once you have the real lock on, Mesmer has no way to shake it off unless Stealth, while it is not in the case if MM Necro because they move and you lose target.

Whatever you said, funny thing is all of these QQ come from people who are made their name through competitive play. i don’t mind you keep playing that cheesy build of yours because at the end of the day, your skill will not improving and one day, you will regret why i am so bad at other class or when Spirit Ranger got what it deserves, you find yourself in trouble. While we, who refuse to play the cheesy build, and keep honing our skill through challenge, you are stuck there with your cheesy build. Remember, at the end of the day, you will reap what you sow. That’s all I have to say.

If you really think spirit Ranger is low skill then make one yourself and duel me.

Of course if you don’t like that idea, I encourage you to find a single spirit ranger in this game who can beat me in a duel reliably. If it is a low skill class then certainly you can find some other person who is capable of out preforming another ranger. Unless of course there is actually some depth and skill that differentiates players that you can’t put your finger on because you have absolutely no experience playing the class you comment on at a high level.

A Vet Ranger will always beat A Casual Ranger.
A Vet Ranger will always beat A Vet of any other class.
A casual Ranger can do very decent against other players same skill level.
A casual Ranger will always beat a casual player of any other class.

While other class have to try 10x effort to be effective. Spirit Ranger need very little skill involved to be effective. I never said none, it is very little. In fact, I could say it has the lowest skill floor of all right now.

I just play for fun in sPvP, never ever take t seriously in the first place because the place itself…is not serious. You will get it eventually if you are good enough. I get 80% of that 200 in tPvP though, so if I win, I got counted for both Achievement.

I never said a thing about being OP or not. And tbh, if they were off, in my opinion, finding enemy even harder because he keep moving and minion will keep cover his body. Also if you have a friendly MM master nearby, it will make confused who is allies, who is enemies. But yeah, they never OP, they just annoy the crap out of me when there are so many in one spot like that.

You know the number of maps you will play, you do not know which maps specificly you will play next..Build only for Skyhammer map will not be effective in other map and vice-versa. Seriously, if we know which map we will play next or having build templates, things may be different. Having changing build every time you go to this map is kitten annoying. And you only have 1m20s to do so..Good luck with re-build your character during that time-frame manually.

Then the problem is the lack of templates, not the map. It has already been said that ANet is working to add them.

Skyhammer = cause of all these uproar.
Templates = solution for this map.

As long as the solution has not been introduced, Anet should not make people suffered by playing this map in competitive environment.

Cool story…So while they are busy killing your AI, what you are doing at that very moment? By the time they kill your spirit, you either have your spirit ready to re-summon again or they are forced to go in defensive mode totally.. In which case, you clearly gain already massive advantage over them. Unless you screw up your fight BADLY, there is no way they could overcome that. Also please record you fight as I would love to see you play well or simply the people you play against suck hard time just like you discredit those players in the video.
