Same goes for our healing stance. Unlike all the other stance it takes 3/4s to cast and the immunity doesn’t begin until after the 3/4s cast. No other stance requires a cast time, which confuses me as to why warrior healing stance is considered a stance.

Y’know… there’s more to the game than just PvP. So what if the trait happens to be only useful for PvE? Don’t take away my PvE salvation button just because it doesn’t appeal to players of an adjacent game.

Is this something the community would like to see? I could definitely do that, but I’m worried how it would be perceived to those actually playing the game. People complain about the 4v5 often, this would be doing that on purpose.
Instead, have you considered offering a handicap in terms of points per objective and player kill? Higher ranked players should be worth more points when killed. They have the skills to stay alive and to pick their fights, so taking them down should be more rewarding. Novice players on the other hand may run in to get slaughtered due to their inexperience, so they should be worth less points per time killed. This system was once used in the battlegrounds of an mmo that we all know, but shall not be named. Killing High Warlord was worth a lot more points than killing Legionnaires.
Realistically, a player in the top 100 can usually 1v2 against two players ranked below 90% and win without much difficulty. They could put up a reasonable fight even in a 1v3 situation if the opponents were below 80% rating.
Another (or additional) handicap could be to give more points per captured objective per minute held for the lower ranked team, since they will have a much harder time holding the points and decapping points vs the experienced team. This could also be used in situations where there are forced 4v5s.
Just, as a theoretical test, 4/5 players = 0.8 team efficiency. What if the team with 4 players got points at the rate of 100%/0.8 = 125% from captured objectives to compensate for being a player short? This would require the team with 4 players to hold objectives for slightly less time in order to win. It wouldn’t even things out completely, but at least it would make those close games where the score has been 380 vs 500 in a 4v5 a lot closer (380 × 1.25 = 475 vs 500 assuming it was all from objectives and not kills).
That’s not a good idea at all…The devs have already said, and it’s a well known fact, that rank does not determine skill. You could have a high ranked player feeding the other team, and your team would get screwed over. I’d never want a system like that…I’d just leave PvP altogether if something like that happened. All my hard work, just to make it easier for the other team to get points…no way!

Just for the record you can’t “stack” CCs. One CC cancels the other CC. Those who you think are “stacking” CC are timing their CCs, which you should probably learn to do with your dodges, stun breaks, and or stabilities if you’re having problems with CC.

Personally, I would never run Sweet Vengence in a PvP scenario. It is far too situational and is used in only one situation (when you kill someone while vengenced). That means you’ll hardly be using that trait. Just because it is a master trait, doesn’t mean its worth is that of a master trait. I personally would take a number of the adept traits and master traits over sweet vengence, because they are in far more constant use.

Those runes are good for the game ATM. The condi bunk meta is disgusting, now there is a way to kill those condi spammers. I don’t see why it should be nerfed.
Every class can use them , no need to complain its not like lyssa which was for thief/warr only.

Nope! You can be good at Warrior, or bad at warrior. Warrior has a low initial skill cap so people can get good at it pretty quick, but it’s hard to actually master the class and beat other classes that have already mastered their class. It’s kind of like snowboarding compared to skiing. Skiing is easy to learn, but hard to get better at and snowboarding is hard to learn, but easier to get better at.

That would be indeed suicide. Without GS mobility you’re as good as dead.

Even then you’re at a huge risk unless you keep a very close eye to your surroundings all the time. One wrong move when the zergs shift and you’re toast.

Yeah really… when another class with 2600+ armor and near 30k health comes and crits you for 7k on one move lemme know. Warriors are still way above viable at the moment.
Would you please care to share which warrior build you are using that gives 30K vitality and is still able to crit for 7K on a hammer?

It was some new test build I MET at spvp. Guy had easily over 25k HP and around 2600 armor (overall tanky). Didn’t do that much consistent damage, but the eviscerate still did 7k on me. I am just saying that it’s doable, as you are basically tanky with some burst.
He probably had 2400 armor and like 21k hp, that’s about what you’ll have running full zerk and melandru’s runes on a warrior in PvP. Which, is fairly squish squish…
A 7k eviscerate is like the upper average end of damage you’ll get running that setup.

That’s build is a build for speed running with a group. I’d run something with more power than precision b/c power is greater than precision at lower levels and possibly more survivability depending on your experience with the class.

Then they’re bad hambow warriors, if they’re taking last stand over Dogged March and CLeansing Ire. They’re only hurting themselves traiting last stand over Dogged March. Skyhammer may be the only exception.
Actually, Last Stand is just as viable as Dogged March in almost every map for Hambow. With the amount of condition removal you have (Cleansing Ire, Signet of Stamina, and Bezerker’s Stance [not a condition remover, but a condition immunity]), you don’t really need Dogged March and instead can take Last Stand over it (unless you really want that 3 & 1/4 seconds of regeneration [much stronk!]).
By taking Last Stand you lengthen Balanced Stance from 8 & 3/4 seconds to 11 seconds and Bezerker’s Stance from 8 seconds to 10 seconds (if you’re traited for Leg Specialist over Great Fortitude).
Personally, I think it’s just as viable.

I wouldn’t go Hammer in a dungeon. The hammer’s damage is inferior to the greatsword’s damage aka Hundred Blades.
I personally run Greatsword/Longbow in dungeons cause I’m too lazy for swapping weapons in dungeons xP

Why does one of the of the tankiest base classes get a healing signet
because 5khp and 3,1 % less dmg with 200 armor isnt that great to facetank every dmg.
gimme invisible skill, ports, protection and aegis and you are allowed to complain about heal sig…..

Mmmm…it’s pretty true though.
You shouldn’t be having a lot of trouble with them when running hard AoE Dps/CC. Of course, you’re gonna have to work for it; and a better MM will beat a bad Hambow. However, AoE Dps/CC builds counter AI builds in general.

Sadly, builds like this one or this are probably the most powerful setups Warriors have. The only weakness of the first one is that there’s no way to deny a stomp but your minor traits also make you tougher while reviving and let you do it faster.
Don’t get me wrong, Hambow is still good for team fights, but those builds will wipe the floor with it. The condition builds are also strong in teamfights but also serve as good far assaults and home guards. What annoys me is that I would rather play Axe/GS but condi is just better overall. A Evis can of course one shot a squishy but the sustain is so low. What confuses me is that people cry cheese when I hit a 9k Evis but don’t say anything about my condi builds. Up till now I have yet to receive any crap on the same level of my power builds. I guess people are fine with taking 1.5-2k+ condi ticks but not with one big Evis or a Skull Crack even though those builds are much harder to play and aren’t as strong.
Yeah, sadly gotta agree with you (at least for 1 v 1’s, I think they’re fairly even in team fights for diferent reasons of course.). Condition damage builds are pretty strong compared to power builds, since critical damage has gotten nerfed.
