Well, this player has been playing for a long time. As many of the things he cited happened a year or more ago.

You do not have to do map completion more than once to get more than two legendary weapons. The Alternative? Buy it with gold. Which is ~800g more expensive on average than buying/using your own materials. (Even if you use your own materials, they still have a gold cost)

But if you are getting 10 fps on a jumping puzzle, are you getting 2 in WvW?

WvW has crafting stations. And many pieces of ascended have been crafted in there. As for spvp, gear is standardized…

Should mistforged weapons be obtained in the trading post? What about the balth backpack? what is obtainable there? Going back to your first gripe, Legendaries! No need for map completion there.

Last year, critical damage went from gaining straight percentages from a crit stat to ferocity. Which resulted in a ~10% damage reduction in full zerker builds.

So do you want to go back to more burst? Or is current burst too much? Make up your mind.

As for the Dyes, you made the mistake of opening/selling when that change happened a year ago. Take a look at prices now, almost each UNided dye is worth 1 gold. You said you had 8 characters? How many dyes did you get back? Id be willing to be more than 250. Its your own fault for only getting silvers back when many of us are still reaping in the rewards of said change.

Fastest way I have found to do key’s with current system: Explore Rata Sum, Explore The Grove (gets you to level 5), Craft karma food to 175 = level 10. Start story, finish at level 12.

The only reasoning I can think of for Temporal Curtain acting the way it does:

Once it has been placed, what keeps us from going back and forth through it to stack swiftness?

Example: Place Curtain, WSWSWSWSWS…..

Temporal Curtain only applies swiftness if you currently have no swiftness. It is the only skill in the game that works like that. The rest of the swiftness skills stack on duration. Such was Warrior Warhorn Blowing, Guard Staff 3 and Static + Blasts.

TLDR – The tool tip for Temporal Curtain is incorrect, that one wont stack, but all other swiftness skills will.

This accusation gets tossed around a lot – that certain people who post such high praise for Anet’s decisions might be rewarded in some way. I haven’t reached a decision on this yet, so I thought the best approach is just to come right out and ask.

Will someone at ANet please tell the rest of us if you reward certain people for their forum comments? If you could just issue a flat out denial then that might diminish the number of accusations, especially right now.

Yea, we had 11 or 12 players tonight online in Nob. Out of those, only one warrior who had to call it an early night. Guardians on the other hand, we had about six of them. ;X

We are creatures of habit. Many do not like this because it is change. Once this becomes habit, all will be well again.

Same thing happened with the UI changes from the previous feature patch.

This has been one of the best ideas I have read. I have signed my guild up and look forward to playing along side and against the devs.

How are they supposed to fix this? Force players into certain servers? Merge server communities that hold animosity towards each other? WE made these unbalanced matches, not anet. WE chose what servers to play on, creating these stacked servers.

Tier 8 calls 10 man groups zergs. With 5 man you can do a quite a bit, even cap SMC in off hours. Id say ET, but I am clearly Biased, but the other tier 7-8 servers would suit you well. The one thing you can do is change your hot keys. The skills will still appear on the same order on your bar. But the key strokes for them can be changed to suit your play style.

Apparently you’re not aware at how much some of this has been requested. It’s a pretty big thing for a lot of people. Not me, mind you, but a lot of people.

But as it has been said many times on these forums, the majority of the player base does not frequent the forums. It has been requested, yes. They listened, yes. But for the majority of the player base that does not frequent these forums, will it help retain them?

I will admit these are nice Quality of Life changes, but… Sadfaces.

The influx of ectos (with this idea) would not come from drops, but from the huge surplus of dungeon tokens sitting in peoples wallets. 30ish Dungeon tokens for one yellow when people are already sitting on thousands of tokens?

On a random note, there is an old post by John Smith (that I am not willing to look for at the moment), that has the rate of which ectos move, which if I remember correctly its over 50k in 3ish hours.

I like the outmanned buff. It lets low pop servers know when to do an all call and gives them an attempt to better organize themselves.

Making one for himself is one thing, but will he be able to legally distribute it, even if its at no cost?

The only safe solution I see to this, is to include scans of the 60 pages somewhere online. Or the original screens that made your book.

But Kudos to you, that is one of the neatest things I have seen people do for themselves.

Shopping at the booths, visiting the attractions, watching the parade are all very common things to do a theme park. Many of which are found entertaining by people (which may or may not include you).

We are still ‘the new kids on the block’ when it comes to organized WvW. However, with the next tournament around the corner, we are hoping to be one of the hard hitting contenders within tier 8/bronze.

This is still very much a theme park, but just because you have been on every ride, it does not mean there are no other ways to have fun within the park.
