I dunno the Heavy armor for the Humans looks nice. The light armor is …..crap can’t remember the words to discribe it but let’s just say “yup go figure”. As for the Medium. Human males have a decent look to the armor while The Females for some odd reason looks Odd. Like it’s been patched worked. I do wish the chest’s piece little “half Skirt” would be on the pants instead of the chest piece. I like the shoes,careless about the gloves and Head piece and the shoulders look nice. The chest piece is what really bothers me. IMO either make both boobs’ underage visable or cover them both up. Reminds me of lil kim’s outfit loooonnng ago.
As for the Weapons , I like ’em. Rifle being my favorite.

Sure,why not. Honestly, I hope there’s gonna be something like that. Wouldn’t mind an entire map of underwater with a touch of Land spots for PvE and PvP. However, like some have stated, Some fine Tuning is required for water combat to be “good enough” for some class. That and it give me a reason to have the Lake Hylia Theme song from Zelda Twilight Princess playing in the background. kitten good underwater music.

Doesn’t this thread belong in suggestions? Nice idea, though I don’t see it happening. I mean one of the reasons people farm these dungeons are for the skins, as you pointed out, and as such less people will want to fight in dungeons once they have that skin leading to less groups being made making harder for others to get said skin or gear for the stats in themselves.
Once it’s moved to the Suggestions section, it will be buried there and forgotten.. forever..
I can vouch for that. Also this has been suggested before and was noticed…right before the Mounts ,Make Dyes account wide, and More weapons for engineers and elementalist threads popped up.

Take it with a grain of salt and pepper with a side of pig snout. Anywho I’ve been going through my character’s inventory to see what I have and what I don’t need and it seems to me I don’t need a few runes for some characters.
What I mean by that is I have dungeon runes (Example: Rune of the Monk) on a couple of characters that I ran AC with and they’re soulbound to them. Needless to say I don’t need them for that character(s).
So First Suggestion: How about making the Dungeon Runes Account bound? I really wouldn’t care to suggest someting like this, but because no one likes having an engineer in the group I’m pretty much SOL. (yes i’ve been kicked for it)
Second and I’m sure this isn’t gonna happen, more of a personal thing. I was wondering if we (the players who have HOM Items) could have a ONE handed version of the Fellblade.

Well when the end of this month is up Lionguard Lyns is gonna be gone. Taking those 250 use Tools and Kits with her. Which means when she’s gone the only place to get 250 use Tools is the Laurel Vendor. Too bad Anet Didn’t add a 250 use Salvage kit. or did they?

Actually about 15% of the population finds making money very fun, irrelevant of the uses of that money. Ever gotten unnecessarily rich in a single player RPG like Skyrim?
I really do find making money fun, but I’m one of those people that have a mind to know when its time to stop or say “ok I have too much now or enough”.
As for your question. No never has happened to me. Only cause I’ve never played Skyrim HOWEVER, if you were to say Fallout New Vegas instead of Skyrim then the Answer is still no. Sure having 2.1 million caps maybe unnecessary, but when you factor in the cost for repairs,food,ammo,med care,those stupid dino toys in novac then you need Moolah. Let’s Face it. Gun Runners Arsenal wasn’t mean’t for the poor. Most of those weapons was expensive. I’m still paying roughly 56k for Fatman ammo. Nukes. Aren’t. Cheap. or easy to get. unless your playing MW2 then all you need is 25 kills without dying yourself. Not to hard right?

It really depends on what your character is wearing(Heavy,Medium, or Light armor) ’cause each dye has a different shade, but if you want a Blackish looking color try Charcoal. I saw a mesmer with it. looked Black to me.

After remembering a good idea from guild wars 1 I suddenly remembered about the fractal bags that you can buy from the Mist with tokens. So I got to pondering about more bags being available thru dungeons. Why not make it to where each Dungeon has its own bag to purchase using the tokens recieved from completing a dungeon? 10,15,20 slots could be up for grabs HOWEVER make each bag Unique.
By Unique I mean only one bag can be equipped. There Has been problems with players not understanding Unique in the past so I’m only pointing out what it means.

I thought you couldn’t name names on the forums. Even so I don’t see it being Abuse in anyway(Although others will say differently). There was a thread not to long ago about this. The only real help that person got was to port to another city or turn off your SFX. Turning off your SFX is the best option.
Blocking or Muting said player has no effect in blocking EVERYTHING they do(I wish it did other wise a bunch of wannabe commander’s Icons would be wiped off my Map) only there chat,PM and mail I think.
If I was you I’d stop reporting those players with the bells. It could very well lead you to Never hearing the sound of those bells again. ( Account Termination)

Well I’m not on a High Pop server or maybe I am haven’t checked but I do know that during the week I don’t have trouble getting in but on the Weekends (Fryday,Saturday,Sunday) forget about it( and yes i Spelled friday with a Y). I do know that last Sunday I wasn’t able to get in til at least 11pm.

A Cloak of some type would be awesome to see in this game. Kinda like Ezio Auditore’s Outfit From Asssassin’s Creed 2. If your looking for a Back piece Input “Spineguard” in the Search bar. As others here had said there is no Cape of any kind…..yet.
PS. If you play as a Norn Warrior or Guardian the T3 armor kinda has a Cape/Tabard look to it.

The Armor skin comes with 6 pieces. one for each piece of armor. head,legs,torso,etc.
After you use it, it’s stuck to that armor you applied to. HOWEVER, you can use Transmute stones both fine and regular to move the skin to a different armor piece. I hope this info is right cause I’m going by what people had said in past about it.

Can’t see why it doesn’t. I mean even flame turrets work underwater…..well the NPC’s flame turret does anyway. The Inquest at Mount Maelstrom the ones in the water southeast of the map way bottom right have flame turrets that work. which kinda bugs me why I can’t use mine underwater.well
now that I put more thought into this it’s the flamethrower issue in Dead Space all over again. Wasn’t really an issue for me.(sorry off topic last part)

Mmm no. While ya karma would be better cause of the Lack of money involved( if not any) you’d have lots of “hardcore” karma farmers having this armor maybe in a week or 2. IF you wanted to change the cost of armor why not make it like the orignal Guild Wars 1.
You’d need:
1. Money
2. Materials, to be more specific: Leathers,cloths,metals and special material(s).
3. Rep or in the Guild Wars 2 way Karma.
Honestly speaking I kinda wish it was like that. Getting armor and weapons with just one currency is just boring. Having mats,money, and karma would make it more interesting.

Guild Wars 1 is a game I actually enjoy. yes you read that right I still play it. the mechs in Guild Wars 2 however are …Different(No Smit Sherlock).Not something I wasn’t expecting. It took me almost a week before I realized there was no heroes or henchmen. Then after more time playing and remembering Guild Wars 1 It sorta bummed me out.
The great thing about Guild wars 1 is the PvP and the “build your own Salad bar” so to speak (Skill bar) and the Secondary Professions. I hate pvp to no end ,but Guid Wars 1 was different and I like it for it’s Unquie PvP style (Unquie to me anyway). The build your own bar and Secondary profession is really awesome. Something Guild Wars 2 lacks, but theres a small understanding to that.

The only reason GW2 doesn’t have capes is because ANet can’t work around clipping issues. However, if you wanted a different way to represent your guild (especially in a battle), you could maybe push for sashimono. You could maybe get several styles: the vertical rectangle, horizontal rectangle, or even pennant flag style options.
YES! I had this very same idea. this would be a very good way to rep a guild and what not. I had plans to draw up some concept art for new back armor and post something like this in the suggestion or art section but you pretty much took care of it here.I would love to see something like this in the near future.

So after the snow melts and the holiday event is done and over with.Is there any plans for Furture Karma Foods? I really hate to have to go and buy up a smit ton of snowflakes just for karma foods. I’d very much like to see an alternative source for karma food.
Heck i’ve spent more time just catching every DE there is cause of this, where is before I couldn’t give a rat’s behind about DEs unless it’s to finish my Dailies or too just make up for the Waypoint fair.

yes it is BUT…I’m sure Anet will nerf that too. yes it does go faster with a group, but I’m Very eXtreamly Bitter towards other players. personal issue nothing to share with. just make sure your geared for solo encounters and your good to go.

It’ll become soulbound on use/Account bound(yes both of them). HOWEVER….it will become soulbound when you use it. so in otherwords it “Resets” the soulbound. At least thats what I remember reading about a few weeks ago.

Well just now I got one from the grawls mission/dungeon/fractal whatever it’s called. Zero magic find and I was in there for about an hour.
Why an hour? I kept going back to that same Fractal. the grawl there are very easy to pull and handle. so I personally say do that Fractal. once the first part of it is done leave and restart to find that same fractal. In my time there I manage to get 5 T6 totems and other bunch of Mats and vendor trash PLUS the Essence Vial. It was done on level 2. also take some Grawl slaying potions and Food. (magic find,power food whatever works for you)
So like the other posters here have stated it only can be found between 1-10 levels. Good luck to ya and happy huntin’.

Commendation vendor Lionguard Lyns is restocking her goods and is not accepting commendations at this time. She will begin accepting commendations again soon.
As an engineer with Turrets it’s fairly easy. I did switch to PnS for reflect and blocking. worked for me. just have the turrets on auto heal and 30% damage reduction and you should be able to hold out ,if not use them for decoys and snatch and grab.
on a side note: LOL those dolls remind me of the dolls from Condemned 2. cept those were creepier and uglier.

The Trees. No really the ability to chop down saplings is one of the first in many MMO games i’ve played that allowed me to do that. I mean COME ON chopping down saplings for wood,jewels. acorns…..wait acorns are not in this game. anywho that is one of the many reasons i still hang around.
that and the goal of finding a goal. really i just want to get a one of those plain looking average quivers from the new dungeon and then just get on with my life(guild war 2 wise i mean).
the other thing that keeps me going is the the gathering really. mining, CHOP CHOP CHOP-pin’ down saplings and pickin’ potatos is really relaxing in this game. there is the ever so often jumping puzzles and killing and dailys but thats about it.

I’ve seen this type of thing before. If it’s not Warriors it’s Elementalist doing something that causes them to daze and gain swift and something else. I noticed this one day when I logged in to see them at the bank. 5 hours later there they are. still doing it. The best thing to do is to turn off your dialogue. I do it every time i enter a city. So sick of hearing this NPCs repeat there lines 10 times over and over. and ya i know the skill doesn’t have a line but it’s just the sound that the spell makes that was annoying (Speaking of the elementalist)

you know whats weird is that currently ya’ll are in second place and we are dead last(Kaineng). As most players here have suggested have you tried doing the jumping puzzle BUT in stealth mode? when ya’ll have control of your keep use the Mystic Fountians that are there. if you can make it up to the second part of the jumping puzzle there will be a second Fountain you can use to re-stealth. makes by passing the griefing parts easy.

Much like in the First Guild Wars there was weekend events. Double faction points,double green drops, Triple Lockpick drop rate. Is there any chance in the the near future we’ll see the same thing? like Double Reward from DEs,Triple Black Lion key drop rate, and Double Guild Influence from events. just a couple of examples.

I’ve always like the idea of a theif with a rifle. however I can’t see the magic shot working. mainly cause theifs aren’t uh….magic types. personally I can see the the First still being something more along the lines of “if your this far away you do this much damage” much like the Mesmer’s First skill with the Greatsword.
Has anyone played Twisted Metal for the PS3? Neither have I but I’ve seen vids and read about the cars and weapons in-game on the wiki and what not. Anywho theres a sniper rifle in the game. How it works is the longer you hold down the aim button the better the shot. For example: its like using a catapult or treb. the longer you hold it down the farther it goes, BUT for a sniper attack the longer you hold it down the more damage it does.
Hold it for 2 seconds Cause bleeding and X Amount of damge
Hold it for 4 seconds cause Crippling
Hold for 6 seconds cause Weakness
Hold for 8 seconds cause Vulnerability
Hold for 10 sconds Max time and cause Massive damage and 100% crit hit and some random condition.

well if you see somone out there dragging a champ to a group of people forgive me. i do that alot to the groups of players Whom i see as bots to watch them get wiped out. its funny,fun and i help deal with an issue on bots. i dont get credit for the event cause it never gets finished but i do enjoy killing bots with Champions. i know there bots cause
A) they dont PM and curse me out like some people i’ve accidently killed
B) who names themselves KJIOOEKA?
I personally don’t see anything wrong with gathering nodes while taking a few hits. sometimes i dont come out of it alive. I dont like fighting the mobs in Orr but im willing to take hits from them and sometimes i cant even gather the node cause of the pain in the butt moves that some of them do. rupting,stunning,excessive damage that forces me to retreat. so not all is fair when gathering nodes yo.
