The karka Back piece is nice to say the least. First thing that came to mind was Jackie Estacado. Then Someone linked in-game and ruined it for me by calling it something else.
Of course you put something in a game that has tentacles in it SOME people will automatically associate it with Japanese “shows” followed by the Phrase" I’ve seen enough blah blah blah to know where so and so is going".
The Flower Back piece is nice, but too yellow for my taste. None the less good stuff. Well worth the time too.

lower level jumping puzzles would be my best guess. I think my friend said the ones in caledon forest were giving him a couple every day or so.

Actually It can be any JP ,so long as the dude stays level 20ish. I’d say stay level 22 for safe measure. Park that Character In LA and when the Dailies reset have at it.

Also Tier 2,3 loot Bags from Bandits and Pirates seem to have a chance of dropping them.

Well I do know that a Character around level 20ish has a good chance of finding them in a jumping puzzle. I remember cause my warrior was getting one almost everyday until he hit level 30.

Well you may want to consider that players out there:

Well I must say you are wrong on this part. I saw A player ,who’s character was female, Wearing them. I thought to myself neat they added some new leg wear for guys and girls. Now I haven’t seen what they look like on guys ,but I do agree with you on how they look like on girls.

Not to mention I don’t see any CARGO parts anywhere. I’ll have to give another look again laters. I would like to see them lookng like Cargo shorts then I might be able to have one of my characters looking like she does in Rock band 2/3.

Also there was a Poster who was outraged by this. S/he wanted these “hot pants” on his/her Male Sylvari Character. then others joined in and said they wanted those Hot pants on there male toons too. I thought to myself again and said “noooooooo” then I remembered Mission Hill and how Jim was wearing Hot pants. THEN I said “meh ok”.

Ya I know Different games not that same thing, but that’s just me. If they (Anet) does put some type of fishing,hunting and/or Gardening then great. If not then great.

Glad to see I’m not the only one. My Engineer was never springy while using a kit and my thief with Daggers just looked odd running. I really don’t like this at all. Also I read the patch notes , but I didn’t see any changes to this. Unless it was worded differently.

Well let’s see.

Positives:
1:They fixed the tool tip for Superior Rune of Water.
2: The New Back Items are like HoM Skin stones. Which means when I find that Exotic Back piece I will be Set.

Negatives:
1:They didn’t fix the Second bonus for Superior Rune of Water
2: The New back Items require Guild Commendations. Something I’ll never be able to get, due to me having the worldest Smittest Social skills. Honestly They Couldn’t make to where they Cost 5G alone? Maybe make it to where they’re cheaper with Guild Commendations.

All in all 5/10. Half good. Half bad. Most stuff was just bunk. I was really looking forward to those back pieces.

I’ve posted this Bug a while back about how the Rune’s Second Bonus Isn’t working and how the Tool Tip is mistexted (yes I’ve submited a bug report ingame). As of Today (5/1/2013 2:14am) the Tool Tip has been Fixed ,but the Rune’s Second bonus is still broken. If Screenshots are needed I can provide.

I’ve said this once before in another post about Engineers and I got the feeling no one read it cause it had the word Engineer in it , but to answer your question, Yes I get kicked from pug groups when LF dungeons ( Which I don’t do anymore in this game).

Hell I’ve been asked to leave WvW one time for not being a good player,which wasn’t true. The DS that asked me to leave ( really to told me to leave and not in a friendly way) said I quote" We need some other players In WvW that are helpful and not an engineer. Your just Wasting space in the que".

Needless to say I don’t care what players say I to love my engineer.

You do realize that Guardians aren’t the only ones that are gonna suffer from this right? Then again most players don’t really care too much for engineers.

I turned off my Ingame music about a week after I got the game. Pretty much Whatever Track I select gets played over and over and over again until I get sick of it. I put my Repeat on along time ago and forgotten about it.

Recently I’ve been listening to Live Stream Public Radio. If I’m not listening to that it’s old TV shows playing in the background. It’s interesting to Hear the Show rather then Seeing and Hearing it. That and well I found the Old Radio show from Grand Theft Auto Vice City on Youtube and Downloaded it. VCPR or Vice City Public Radio. Funny Stuff.

ADD: I listen to The Hives,Foo Fighters and other bands like that. Basic Rock for me.

Text Error still gives you Precision. Anet just hasn’t gotten around to fixing that. And yes I just tested this about 3 minutes ago.

It really is Easy. Not Fast, but easy…once you understand the mechanics of Alpha that is. I’ve ran the dungeon quite a bit ,but the main problem is finding a decent group of players who won’t call it quites after they get killed by Alpha. No rudness intended to anyone, but spare me the guild and friends speech.

UPDATE: Oops one more thing Fix Superior Rune of the Water’s Second bonus. It’s been bahroken for quite some time.

Well with 6 hours a day I’d say a Week and a half. Took me roughly 2 weeks to hit 80 by playing 4-5 hours a day…except the first few days actually I got caught up with Zelda, but ya somewhere around there.

This is interesting. Probably would be helpful to know if we had some sort of Stat added to our hero panel to see if this is working with the current Magic find you have with your armor or is just plain overwriting it. Could be nice to add that “+” to it too.

As the Title says Superior Rune of the Water is slightly bugged. The 15% boon duration doesn’t stack or even show that the +15% is affecting any of my boons. There’s no increase of duration or tooltip increase. Further More the 15% Is actually showing as "15 Boon Duration" minus the percent. This is the PvE rune not the PVP rune. Just thought I make that clear just in case of confusion.

I’m not FREAKIN’ out to have this fixed as my current boon build is working out nice and all , but to have the full effect of this working on my Running Engineer would be amazingly good.

So last night?morning? whenever it happened yesterday Anet released some snazzy looking shirts. HOWEVER, judging by how the artwork looked I thought there be some Pants to go along with the shirts…but there wasn’t. I’d figured I wait a day to see if the rest would come out. Maybe I should wait a few more days.

After having read different sections of the forum. I’ve come to realize that players have a lot of issue (including my self) with how certain things are being run in game. The answer to all your problem is simple people. “Option -> Log off game”. Go spend time with your friends and family. I do it daily after logging on to see if any guildies online then log off if nothing happening

Yea but you cant respawn when you log out of real life and that creates a problem .

Actually there are quite a few people who believe you do respawn…albeit in a different body, but still. lol

Okay just wanted to clarify that. NOW on the subject. OP I do just that. I log in see whats the haps and log off. Although it’s hard for someone like me to enjoy spending time with my family seeing as how they asleep when I come home from work. I have No friends IRL. I prefer to not have friends. I’m crying much about anything MAJOR but there are some minor gripes that I live with just fine. Like there not being any Corn mats to gather and what not.

PS the Corn thing is actually serious.

There are others but to sum up the reason behind this is one word: Exploit.
Apparently the Gold Sellers we’re using the Guild transport to conduct business or so I read. I’m sure there are other reasons behind it as well.

While I do agree that you can do something like that, often at times there are Players that prefer you didn’t come in to do just that. They’ll tell you it’s holdin’ up the que and what not. Not to mention if your on a server that is Really populated you’ll sometimes be SOL to get in just to use the vault in WvW due to Heavy Que’ing.

It’s basically a dolyak with your entire guild’s vault on it’s back giving you access to all your guild’s possession (if you have access to it).

As for this nerf, Granted I was saving up for this, it seems now just to be a total and complete waste of time for me to even be saving up now. Guess I’ll buy some banners….even though they just sit there cause I never use them. oh well life goes on.

Then if that were the case shouldn’t they just make it a skin? It would seem fair if they cut out the cost for the transmutation crystals.

EDIT: Nope there was another good thing about this update. They fixed the town clothes head piece.

Maybe the Pants smelled like poo. Which is the reason why the fly had the pants in the first place. Think about it. There is touch of realism in there. Flys are attracted to smelly bad awful things, mostly poo-ish smelly stuff. That or the fly wanted to “Fly” in style.

So if I’m an engy, should I do a pistol with superior sigil of luck and then a shield with a Crest of the Traveler? Would the Superior Sigil of Luck erase the Crest of the Traveler if they’re on different weapons?

No it won’t. However if I were you. I’d have two pistols. One with the luck sigil and another pistol with a different sigil or crest. that-a-way it would help with your damage or magic find stat or whatever. See cause once you have a 25 stack you can switch to a different weapon and still have that stack. Only if you get downed and/or killed would you need to switch back to the weapon that had the luck sigil.

Was wondering. Has anyone see a LIVE banning? What I mean by that is, in the first Guild Wars if you got banned Dhuum would come out of the ground ,knock down your character ,and “ban” you, so to speak. Was wonderin’ if maybe this Tradition was in Guild Wars 2.

In a way ,you answered your own question. Moving to new zones,logging off and doing other things usually resets and removes the DR from said “Zone” your in. However, I myself, have no clue how long it takes for DR to reset. I’m sure others will be here shortly to maybe shed some light on this.

No. Should look like the Corrupted shard when you choose the skin. The only thing that changes is the stats.
If it does stop try to log out and back in,restart the client, and/or submit a ticket. Hope this helps.

What a drag. oh well, I can wait I suppose. maybe by then the Wide Rim glasses will be on sale and this issue will be resolved.
