The flaw is, Exotic Zerk or Exotic PVT will technically have the same gear score and thus the feature will not filter out unwanted builds.

Used the LFG feature to breeze through story modes of pretty much every dungeon. Found it decent for putting together 1-9 scale fractal groups.

Explorable dungeons are hit/miss; have been running TA Up path with decent outcomes. Not every run is perfect, but I’m getting way more dungeons completed now in comparison to ever.

To be honest, story mode is not difficult at lvl 80 (with decent gear) scaled down. The other day for story mode daily 3 DnT advertised our party in lfg. We didn’t need to since it can be solo’d easy. A 77 mesmer joined and a 38 guardian joined. They just followed us trying to keep up. In the end, we weren’t expecting the guardian to watch the cut scene so one of our members didn’t get the reward because he left the dungeon too soon lol.

Do you even have a clue who will get mostly punished if they make mobs unskippable without reducing their hp 2-3 times and improving their loot tables? Even the dev anet fired knew it. You apparently do not know it.

What if say………You run to hit a mob but BANG before you get to it some random berserker 1 hits it before you manage to hit it? This CAN happen in starter zones, go try lmao….

That is sort of “kill stealing”. Why do you thnk Anet put such large HP’s on mobs, to try and prevent this sort of thing. In other zones it works, but starter zones for example not so much.

I know I know, no decent (respected) berserker user would be playing around in Queensdale right? After all they are all running dungeons and champ farming in Frostforge or running fractals or something right?

Point is, Berserkers and it’s mindset brings problems, and probs Anet were trying to avoid in the first place.

Possible solution:

Remove base stats from gears, have it all come down to what we are using in runes. This is how it is in sPvP, perhaps it should be used everywhere else as well?

This would make it far easier for Anet to balance the game as well. By that I mean set difficulty levels of bosses, dungeons etc.

Hog wash. I go to starter zones to finish my daily everyday. I’m sorry you can’t run fast enough to tag the mob before I kill it. Maybe wait 5 minutes for me to leave then you can kill them by your lonesome.

Requires some trust Cookie but I’ve done it twice now with a guildie so it is possible.

A suggestion for the lfg tool and most of you will hate me for it. Give armor a gear score. Exotics being the best Whites being the worst. You set the minimum gear score required to join your group. But obviously this goes against the play how you want mantra.

The purpose of this thread is to create a psudo standard for forming a group with pugs based on several attributes.

A concern I have is the majority of “content” that has been added is temporary. I’m sure others would agree with me that I want to consume content at my own pace, not be forced to play the flavor of the week living story events…

This thread reminded me of a certain recent movie about a terrorist attack on the White House.

So the 5 or so terrorists get into the White House and start shooting people, while the entire freaking US military and armed forces are camping outside the fence and are like

“Oh, we can’t enter the White House. I guess we’ll just sit here and scratch our balls for two hours while five nutjobs are murdering our president and the children inside. These are the mobs you are skipping.

I get gold per path completed. If I want my legendary within the year I either have to run dungeons or become a trading post flipper. I choose the former option.

Using this tool goes against my strict “Do not run with PUGs under any circumstance… EVER!” I adhere to this rule and my gaming experience is great. Another one is, “Don’t revive others when there is a way point within running distance.” Simple rules, simple life.

The easiest way to get the popup is to reload the UI. This can be done by using a way-point that is sufficiently far enough that the loading screen pops up. If that doesn’t fix the problem the pop out to the character select screen then jump back into the game.
