The other day my girl friend was running CMp2 and on the bomb dropping encounter next to the door one of her party members’ barrel was bugged and he could produce unlimited barrels by throwing them. Could of been a transient bug.
This is a beta stress test of their new content so there are bound to be bugs. Report it like a good beta tester and it should get fixed.

Who cares if the record will be beaten in a couple of days? They recorded, uploaded, and posted it here for review. It is not your place to judge whether he should have posted it. You don’t have to make it interesting or innovative to claim a record.

There is an artificial “easy” mode and can be achieved by using gear/trait lines that are focused on defensive attributes. When you run around with 30k hp and 2 billion armor, dying is pretty tough.

Anet continues supporting dungeons by fixing major game breaking bugs/exploits (not interchangeable). I’m sure once they stop doing that, they will tell us all is vain :P

@Derenek I feel like you missed a point along the way.
There are two types of players at the moment. (Stay with me regarding this crude example)
1. Someone who hasn’t run explorable paths 100’s of times.
2. Someone who has run explorable paths 100’s of times.
Most of us here have already experienced the “role playing” portion of completing dungeons and their novelty has worn off and we moved on to the next content to consume. Turns out, there isn’t much more content to complete unfortunately. So as we continue to run explorable paths more and more we refine our approach to completing the content which involves shortcuts and optimizations.
It is in this optimization, that a higher level of team play is achieved through group synergy and maximizing total group dps. The only advice I can offer is try to find like minded people through a guild or the lfg tool. If that doesn’t work, then I don’t know what to tell you other than you probably aren’t looking hard enough.
@OP I am going to assume you do not run dungeons often otherwise you would understand why there is stacking.
Most speedrunning groups don’t actually stack anymore, it just takes pugs several months to catch on, instead they kill bosses on the spot.
Basically this. Before fiery great sword was nerfed the meta was, stack in a corner and rush the boss to death. Now we just fight the boss where it spawns, freeze with Ice Bow then burst it down.
(What is the difference kill the boss in the open or in a corner? If you are only pressing 1 and not dying (while stacked), you are being carried by someone else…)
$39,99 – $59,99 seems like a likely price range for standard edition.
This is wildly expensive for an expansion pack that -in contrast to the base game- provides a fraction of the content.
Also considering that ANet had the gem store from the get go this allows them to drop xpac price much more than a full game.
Don’t buy it then… simple resolution. Do a /age in game then divide it by the initial cost to buy the game… I’ll go first 4k hours / 50$ is like 1/80th of a cent per hour. Tell me, what other form of entertainment gives you a rate like that?

It is this way because literally every single piece of content in this game can be completed with any gear prefix and rune combination. In previous MMO’s it was REQUIRED to min/max in order to complete the most difficult content. In Guild Wars 2, skill precedes gear which means the idea of min/maxing is an optional boost to complete content “faster”. Maybe if enrage timers were added people would embrace the meta.

You only get 1 path reward when you do 3 in 1. The other 2 paths you only get boss loot. There are plenty of videos on YouTube detailing the necessary steps in order to bug the instance out. Go look there instead of asking for exploits on the official forums.

They do that skill at the beginning of the fight and it can’t be reflected.
Casmurro is correct, the Blunderbuss skill cannot be reflected. This is the main attack of the boss.
One day they will be tradeable and you will regret this day.
Regardless of whether it is meta or effective, nobody can afford to make it currently, unless they have more dollars than sense, so it’s just theory crafting.

But yeah, I would love to craft a set for my guard.
I think we can all agree that this is not meta or even effective. With active defense such as dodge, aegis, and invulns, there is no need to heal if you can mitigate all damage with those skills and a bit of situation awareness.
TL;DR;
2k for Zealots recipes is a waste of gold.
How is this a 100g loss?
This new gold system is basically Anet saying, “Hey we don’t care if you buy 499 gold. Just don’t buy more than that in one week.” They will never admit to it but are basically cutting their loses in an unwinnable war against gold sellers. If gems → gold were around the price of what pvpbank offered, we wouldn’t be in this position.

I don’t know who you are but it sounds to me that you haven’t explored all game modes to their fullest if you are still lacking content to consume.
1. Are you rank 80 in PvP?
2. Do you hold any records for speed clearing dungeons?
3. Is your WvW rank over 1,000?
4. Have you maxed out all achievements?
5. Do you have all the legendaries?
6. Have you achieved 100% map completion on more than one character?
7. Have you taught new players how to play the game?
8. Have you met a group of people you enjoy playing with?
The open ended nature of the end game in Guild Wars 2 means you have to come up with personal goals to motivate yourself to continue playing the game.

This website is great by only showing you items that are compatible with the selections you make. No more worrying “Will this CPU work with this mother board?” or “Is this RAM compatible?” It also gets the cheapest price from several vendors (Newegg, Amazon, TigerDirect, ect).

I normally sort by review then read the top reviews to see if there are any major problems. Pick all the essential parts and order!

These are some basic questions to get you started.
99% of the time we will not notice this change, but like the mail spam function, we will notice it that 1% and it will impact our game play (immersion)… Punishing the whole group for a few peoples actions is draconian.
If you are in a guild, doing guild missions is the easiest way to getting ascended trinkets (earrings, rings, and necklace). I mention this over the other gear because trinkets have the highest stat distribution of any other item in the game.
@OP, From your post, it is obvious that you have not experienced all game modes to their fullest. It is also obvious that you are speculating on the expansion since information is still quite sparse. How about you wait a month or two after the expansion is released so you can better kitten whether or not you want to purchase the game before you make inflammatory posts on the forums.
The only inspect functionality is in PvP at the moment.

If you are going to be playing the demo version at PAX I can verify that you will be playing the event chain (possibly a Living Story episode?) that leads up to the Wyvern, which you will fight and kill. It is possible you get to play the stripped down version of Revenant. This means the weapons you can use are: Hammer, Mace, Axe and the two legends that have been announced. You will only have access to 3 trait lines (Precision, Toughness and something else I can’t remember… not Power for sure). You will get to assign ONE mastery point so put it into gliding otherwise you can’t get to the Wyvern. All in all, the demo is fun so go ham.
When I went to PAX East (played the demo) and spoke with the Devs the main impression that I got was to increase the “visibility” of defiant stacks. The new changes are nice for 2 main reasons.
1. My stun that is inferior to Ice Bow #4 will no longer be the culprit of CC’ing the boss before a freeze gets off. (In this case assume Ice Bow #4 will be worse or comperable than the default CC)
2. The amount of Defiant on a boss is more noticeable at a glance. You no longer have to look for a small number that represents Defiant rather, look at the bar (that looks kinda like the hp bar but smaller) and know innately how many CC’s left.
I feel this change is good for new players to understand how CC works and for old players bringing boss control transparency to encounters
The one thing I do know is Warrior should be running Phalanx Strength to keep 25 might. Keeping might maxed is super hard underwater.
