After the next patch, I’d run that full Elixir, drop Incendiary Powder for Hair Trigger, swap out grenades and bombs for Elixir R and S. I’m not bothering with Perplexity any more but I get why you use them. Once the nerf hits them you might need to revisit depending on how they change.

Mesmers have way more potential with Perplexity than Engineers.

To the SoR who defended SBI garrison from around 11 to 1 am eastern on Saturday night.

The open field battle in front of garrison that lasted an hour and a half was the most fun I have had in WvW in the last 3-4 months. It was fun to be evenly matched for a brief moment, and I felt the fight swung both ways at different moments during the night.

We had decided to try an open field treb and the risk paid off, but I had not considered how much fun it would have resulted in.

I don’t believe anyone can predict mathematically they won with the new stomp mechanic. We made up 1000 PPT in an hour yesterday just by stomping.

And we have already made a 1000 point gain this morning.

If you are a good player then this was just another tool in the backpack. Move along nothing to see here.

I can’t image why it wouldn’t be viable for PvE. If you are talking healing it’s really about the water fields and bombs.

I designed it for PVE and don’t know how well it will work in PVP or WvW.

Zerker gear in WvW is great if you want to be a rally bot for the enemy.

JQ took PPT lead from NA to EU. Other two servers need to work harder.

Something seems fishy if we can get a high ppt during EU especially when JQ has no large EU guilds when compared to SoR and BGs large EU guilds.

PPT from objectives is meaningless if you have all 3 buffs and are stomping.

Well before the WvW trait lines for guard killer and defense I was solo flipping camps with a P/P HgH build. It should be even easier now that Dire gear is available.

Now I would probably use P/S, HgH, Perplexity Runes, Dire Gear.
Elixir H, B, Tool Kit and Rocket Boots.

Tactics are also key. Approach the camp in a way that you only get 2 guards and the Claimer at most. The blinds that the veteran scouts hit you with are a pain so prioritize them first.

I’d love to see a buff to Gadgets in the trait lines in general. I have a power build I run in WvW that would be pretty amazing. One trait affecting cool down time just isn’t enough.

I’m really curious to see if BG can keep this up all week, or the previous pattern of early week fall off/mid week repush continues.

For the most part I agree (switching BG for SoR). I guess it all depends on what groups you fight open field, what BLs you run, what times you fight in etc. With even or less numbers there are some days you can cut down a SoR guild group like fine salami, sometimes their hybrid guild/pug zerg is like a brick wall, and every combination in-between.

I can count on 1 hand the number of FA guilds/groups that didn’t buckle under a BG push I participated in. But I only run certain maps at certain times. I don’t get to sample the entire FA bag buffet /shrug.

Nice video and build. My only suggestion would be make things a bit easier on yourself and get a stacking weapon set. Switch out once your stacks are built.

If I remember correctly, Acid Bomb is a pulse DoT, so it’s working as it should.
