Actually, it’s all Hawaiian. Kotaki is the last name of our illustrious former lead concept artist Kekai Kotaki who is Hawaiian. The concept for this Legendary is the last concept piece he did for us before moving on.

How about you use your regular gear but use magic find food and a superior sigil of luck….problem solved. You have non kitten gear and an above average magic find without being totally useless or totally geared and have no magic find. /close thread

well i’m fine with the other mats for making legendary, i just don’t like the precursor thats all, because really you buy it for 200-300g, it really breaks your heart when gold goes to a legendary really…. i would suggest to remove the precursor thats all. and replace it with another gift(well a new 1 of course) and the mats would be dungeon tokens like 1k dungeon tokens and you need like 4 of a kind of 1k tokens and put it in mystic forge to get the gift. i would seriously love that. because from i can see you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone there. 1st, it would lessen the grind for making a legendary. 2nd dungeon party would be more active. i mean seriously i hardly see people doing dungeons anymore. they either go to plinx or tunnel farm back and forth to shelter and penitent. i mean thats not right… spending your time killing zombies over and over again, i rather do dungeons to make my moneys worth of this game(because this game is awesome) rather than saying hello to the risen every single day of the week.

actually some recipie items for cooking tht cost karma are accountbound…..

did i miss something, i thought it was accountbound in the past, is it a bug or is it something tht got implemented and if so does that mean bloodshard is also soulbound?

i have lidless eye on my mesmer sadly its soulbounded, so i bought an eldrich scroll on my theif and i cant even transfer it over lol..

these weapons are the weapons mesmer phantasms have. there are no staff phantasms. and the staff one does not exist. and the only way to put wrong greatsword component for focus is to put in 250 ancient focus core….

I think that someone who exploited the game is now laughing his/hers kitten off now. Just to put such an order you need aroung 190g, so yeah… Good for him. And most likely, nothing bad will happen to him/her.

there is no tax on buy orders….example see below.

^ most regular players wont be able to even sell it to him since there would be a 570g listing fee.

Except that legendary items just became practically unobtainable, with vials of powerful blood skyrocketing to 27 silver, along with other items needed for crafting a legendary its basically impossible for even semi hardcore players like myself to craft one. Especially when theres 50 other people farming plinx, and I cant even tag anything.

basically lol. they are making precursors affordable some how but everything else isnt sooo it kind of negates itself lol

just from the gms announcements alone it is already cheaper to get precurors… =D

question…to add. erm legendaries will always be top teir and will be upgraded to ascended excpt 1 thing. legendaries have a specific stat type. which is power toughness vitality, so what if you want something else? or what if you already transmuted your legendary……?

u should have enough survability, even when they burst u with full combo, or at last trigger Last Refuge to preven u dying, after that u can easily reset the fight while they waiting 45 sec for their CD

i only have around 19k hp and i get downed before the venom is even finished.

just wondering what the best way to farm the 500 honor badges are…. i tried the puzzles but what i find are zergs near the end just waiting to ruin someone’s day on my server anyways (sanctum of rall). i just want to get my 500 for my legendary any help would be appreciated ty.

i do not know if this is the right sub fora to post this but after the patch i noticed the mobile auth isnt working as in when i try to logg on it no longer asks me to authenticate. i even tried resetting it up again but it just does not work. i do not know if it is just me but x.x

easy to claim when it yeilds positive result? i have lost hundreds of gold to the forge………….. so no….. and you could always buy w/e it is you tried to get from the forge. i do not like the forge but i am also over it x.x

that is true. i went from your first example to your latter lol. i dont like it but thats teh way it is at the moment.

i suppose not but my point is statistics state you “should” get one, but it does not mean you will. the best example i can think of is the lottery (united states mega millions or powerball i guess) look at the odds of winning, chances are u wont but people do still win. you did state it is possible earlier but the odds are unlikly. i believe somone posted that they used hundreds of rares and didnt get a single exotic (correct me if i am wrong), which statistically should not have happened but it did anyways. even then the thought of 1 person having to throw that many weps into the forge is just idk depressing lol.

I mean, yes, it is possible to do 15k forges and get nothing, in the sense that nothing in the game code guarantees this won’t happen. But the odds against that happening are about 3.3 million to 1 (assuming 0.1% chance per attempt, which jives with most numbers people are posting).

To put that in perspective, you are five times more likely to draw a royal flush right off the top of a shuffled deck of cards than you are go make 15k attempts without a precursor.

it is still possible …..just as some people can and have gotten dusk on their first try with lv 75 rares.

In theory you could use this method to amass wealth and use any precursor made as gold to purchase the desired weapon.

i could have already done that, but just stating it doesnt really work for certain precursors, and the rate at which orders are even filled it takes quite some time to even amass enough materials to throw into the forge not counting the time it would take to sell ur profits….at that point it almost seems like you could farm events or other tp items and make much more profit faster heck i made 47g yesterday from trading post….,. at the end of the day rng is rng and some people might like it but i dont x.x

this method doesnt excatly work when you are trying to get a staff or greatsword precursor as far as i know, i could be wrong just quickly brushed through tp.

You’re making an assumption that because I want to get rid of RNG that I am asking for the legendaries to be easier.
Getting rid of RNG is not the same as asking for a decrease in mat requirements.
I’m not asking for a decrease in mat requirements, and by all means, increase the material requirements until it is fitting of a legendary, but for goodness sake get rid of RNG.

Telling people to avoid the mystic forge just confirms that the forge itself has major gameplay issues. I too recommend people to buy precursors off the TP as well, but it’s just sidestepping the gameplay flaw of the mystic forge.
I’m sure Anet intends the forge to be just as viable as the TP to obtain the precursor, but at the moment it doesn’t seem so.

There is NO point in taking out RNG, since RNG is an option. Don’t like it? Don’t use it. End of story.

Forge itself is viable, it’s just that some people believe they have a high chance of putting 50g of worth weapons into the Forge and obtaining 300g worth precursor.

and what of people who put in over 600g and still dont get it? let me guess buy it from tp? what if every1 wanted to buy it from tp and all precursors were gone? what then?
