as Roro said when he teleports to the middle you need to hide behind those barracades. and when his adds spawn kill them, if you ignore them well thats damage u could have avoided. id also suggest getting a mesmer or any class that has an ability to reflect projectiles. feedback for instance does wonders when alphard decides to unload.

so can you please explain why you have misleading items created, or if this is a bug or what?. i obtained the sceptor lidless eye which by the way is unsearchable in the trading post for some reason. based on the preview i spent 11gold yet how is it the preview looks cooler than what i actually ended up with. isnt it supposed to be the other way around?
how their model looks and how they look ingame unsneathed – 2 completely different things, models does not show any particle effects or changes in your movement or projectiles…
i have seen the bow and the model is mostly apt…. it is still a rainbow princess unicorn bow of werid. if anything it looks like a weapon that you would get for an idk easter event….
It is really, really hard for people to understand just how randomness really works. People want to look for patterns – it’s how we all live every day. But just because something happens to you 100 times in a row doesn’t mean ANYTHING. If 100 people come to this forum and post that something happened to them 100 times, that STILL doesn’t mean anything.
you are saying if 100 people did 100 attempts and all 100 didnt get a 1/10 ratio at all at all that doesnt mean anything? maybe if the odds where huge like 1/100000 however if it is infact 1/10 then you would be wrong and that would infact mean something.
=.= what maledikuts said. what is basically said, what is happening here is thsoe higher % is being multipied to your base magic find which is unknown. for all you know it could be a really tiny as number, lets say your base magic find is 5% so .05, and you have idk 150% mf all that means is (.05 × 1.5)+.05= 12.5% mf.
hello, I am looking for a guild that do dungeon runs, ( trying to run arah with pugs is mind numbingly annoying when group members leave after hours into it). i have a lv 80 mesmer and a level 80 theif. personally I’m a fan of Arah and CoF but im open to try others. i dont really care what server it is on aslong as someone speaks English. thank you for your time
im not QQing about difficulty persay but i know im not the only one experiencing this senario: find a group for arah run. get to giganticus and a random group member leaves and hours work is officially wasted. no tokens nothing…..
i personally do not have an issue wit the difficulty but it is very irritating that i have tried arah for 3 days and wasted hours every time with nothing to show for it. ik people will say dungeon isnt for pugs bla bla bla, well i hv actually done it once with a pug and besides that i really don’t know of any omega parties that do these runs. i just want my set ( u cant craft the stats on arah armor). can we pls get some amount of tokens not just wait till the end? like hell make the amount you recieve higher than what you would get from the first chest so people dont speed run. if you have a better idea do that because your idea of punishing speed runners is also punishing regular people who just want to complete a kitten dungeon.
a whole day just to find a party to do arah explore. then
random member left at lupicious, someone else went out to recruit got new member. neither could come in. 3.5 hours wasted no tokens… thanks anet ;D…really. thank you.
I absolutely detest the randomness of it. There’s nothing “Legendary” about pure luck, which is what the current system is based on. Getting 300 gold for the average gamer (work, family, 2-3 hours a day of playtime at most) as the game is now is an almost insurmountable task, if they want to actually have any fun in the game and not only grind for money. All Anet is doing is play right into the gold sellers hands with this, since they are probably cheaper than the gem store.
Get rid of the luck based legendary precursor system please.
Luck based systems can be fun in games if the chance of failure is at MOST 75% and not the current 99.9% chance of failure.
lol @ probably. one of my friends spent $200 for 40g via gem shop. i almost cried for him.
The explorable dungeons are not meant for PuG’s but skilled and well coordinated teams with a good tactical leader. The ‘fight’ is fine, it’s very doable with some coordination.
did all 3 path with a pug group…though a gifted set of pugs….pugs no less.
im pretty sure jon peters stated in beta that instead of nerfing classes like warriors they wanted to buff other classes like mesmer to be as powerful as them. i have yet to see this happen. now you may say no mesmer owns in pvp.. well, i haven’t pvp’d yet and as far as pve goes goes i don’t see this buff.
atm focus and torch are by far the most useless weapons ever created. a focus might be good to have in inventory for that random speed buff, but other than that useless. in pvp even more so considering iwarden does not chase a target. ud think being designed that way it would be able to immobolize someone, but no. torch is? who uses that… lol.
i am not saying mesmer is totally useless but its god kitten close. anywho hey mister Peters, when do we get buffs rather than nerf/bug bats? or was that just to appease the crowd?
;D so mesmers have three weapons. staff, greatsword and pistol. well sheets. i liked the whole condition damage/ vitality build but it seems like kitten now considering id hv to use only a staff lol
does anyone know how to aqquire the exotic focus called spirit links? it has a similar icon as accursed chains but idk if the effects are the same. ty in adv
i don’t know much about necro, however i did play mesmer in every single beta and i hated every moment of it (excpt bwe1 and the last beta test). so i decided to just make a theif at launch, got it to 80 then thought wth why not make a mesmer……its currently lv66 and i have had waaaaaay more fun with it than i did as a theif. i do not know if it is the same but when u play a mesmer pve wise anyway you feel much more involved kiting, doing cool combos i.e null field + leap finisher for chaos armor….etc. even though i haven’t played a necro yet (made one called lumpy space princes) you cant go wrong with a mesmer ^^.
u know what… i dont even care. the op does not even sound like a mesmer to me. idk how many times it has to be stated tw > moa infact tw> you. i never learned moa in pve and i dont think id ever use it in pvp unless i wanted to be a useless troll. in anycase go ahead and nerf it, i wouldnt care because i dont use it. infact as somone stated id rather have an elite that focused on illusions, kitten make me feel like queen jennah for a couple seconds.
ur QQing because you failed to evade a longkitten cc. u might as well QQ when a warrior lands a 100b combo on you. however im sure a warrior would be upset at 100b nerf. as i said multiple times i personally don’t care, and i doubt any good mesmers do.. to me i only have one elite. time warp.
also another reason i think you dont know what your talking about OP, you were asked what you feel about time wrap and you replied “I think it’s an awesome skill and I don’t mind it one bit, you can stunbreak from it, move out of the way and the rest of your skills are still available so it balances out.” ………………. umm how exactly does stunbreak save you from time wrap? or how does moving out of the way save you? u mean u are unable to skill while under it? seems like a case study on your toon or you do not even know what time wrap is.

I never QQ when warriors land 100 blades on me, because it rarely happens, I simply stunbreak or use a stun on him. Can’t see why people don’t understand the difference even after 2 pages of discussion.
Saying you only have one elite skill means you still haven’t mastered the class, how can you call yourself a true mesmer then? You always bring Time Warp even when defending a capture point? What a tool.
If you don’t understand how stunbreaks work or how moving out of the time warp field helps then I have no help for you.
70hrs on my mesmer here + I played one all the three BWEs, I know very well how they work, much more than you it seems.
1 again idc about moa. and 2 even if you move out of time wrap field…the person being affected by it already has quickness and can still burst ur face, if they happen to be long ranged……………………………….
