Just FYI, you’re doing that “fire buckets” one wrong. The fire gives him vulnerability and temporarily stops him from healing. If you use it, that means you’re hitting him for 9k damage with your dinky 1 skills.
There’s no waiting for the hammer to work right. You kill an enemy with it, target the seal, run up to it and hit 4.
For the swamp one, there’s a path. Don’t just run into a wall because you weren’t fast enough to get past it. Run the path.
You can only access the lowest level everyone in your party has unlocked.
Why’re you asking people if they have exotics anyway?
Sounds like you and them have issues that are unrelated to the dungeon.
No you don’t. Got to Level 4 until time constraints.
Maybe you type slow?
You should never buy something based off of the icon.
Pick up the box?
I’m pretty sure eventually LA is going to reach a state where they no longer need relief and therefore no longer hand out commendations. Common sense would suggest they’re temporary.
Better stock up on those Black Lion Keys.
The good news is that there are no increase in tokens at least level 4.

Unless you die in an environmental hazard that the built-in system fails to teleport you out of.
If that happens your group just has to wipe and everyone comes back. Falling and environmental deaths don’t damage your gear so there is nothing lost by wiping.
Also you can usually rez from a few feet away so many times it is possible to rez from right next to the hazard.
Falling environmental deaths do actually damage your gear. A bug, but still there nonetheless. Still, the costs are negligible.
The problem isn’t that clear cut. Often times when people fall off the edge in, say, the giant fractal, they will remain in the clouds indefinitely. Another example is falling into the lava in the grawl fractal. Sometimes you’re teleported to a safe spot but your entire party will still see you dead in the lava and be unable to revive you where you really are.
ANet should just implement real autoloot option. Is it really that important to force players to run over their kills/scripted chest?

The common denominator between the largos and quaggan quests are krait. Clearly they must be removed from the game to prevent these bugs.
Pretty sure her armor isn’t unique to her.
Mossman is the easiest part of the Swamp mini.
I feel like it may be too constrictive class wise, but I’d have to play it more to find out.
Elementalists, Mesmers and Guardians (with boon duration) can run them so easily but other classes are just out of luck.
If you fall down or die to envoirment you lose nothing and get moved to the closest “save” point.
Or it doesn’t, and you bug. Considering at least two of the dungeons have “falling” as part of their platforming, it’s simply inexcusable to get knocked down and then disappear until reset.
Unless you die in an environmental hazard that the built-in system fails to teleport you out of.
Neither of those are bugged, despite people claiming so.
Check all the pieces of the wreckage and use a crowbar FROM THE BOX to open the barrels, not one from the ground. The barrel with the bag in it didn’t open for me until I followed the trail to the far end, came back with a crowbar from the box, and tried again.
You need to jog Saballa’s memory a lot. Collect all the items, give them to her at the same time. Wait 30 seconds for them to respawn and repeat.
Why are people dying in places that can’t be reached?
Why do people ask questions like this? Think about it for more than a second and you’ll have your answer.
And yeah, it’s a pain in the kitten Especially when the built-in anti-fall-teleport doesn’t actually work. Or worse, works against you.
Now Blingg is going to get murdered in his home for bringing shame to the entire race.
I feel like the only reason people complain about karma is because they have an alt that they don’t want to work on to buy skins. (Really the only use for karma. You can just buy the stats with gold easily enough).
Because someone who has played a character even casually can’t complain about karma when literally everything gives it to you. All forms of gameplay. Now the game is dropping a jug of karma every daily, 3-4 vials of karma for every dungeon path, and 10 (70k karma) jugs of karma for a monthly.
Just play the game and don’t waste your karma and you’ll have your junk soon enough.
That was driving me mad when I was at the dungeon vendors. I was like “WHERE THE * IS THAT COMING FROM?!?!?!?!?!”
I’ve never seen or heard of it. Is it new with the Lost Shores patch? Please share if you know how it’s acquired.
Yes, it is new. You can start collecting mats for it now with Consortium Chests, but bar that, you’ll have to wait until Lost Shores for the mats.

You can get the Karka shells from the TP as well.
Looks like GW2 is turning into a Pay to Win game. If I want Pay to Win. There are so many other MMO’s out there that fit that discription.
In what way? You realize the karka shells from the TP are from people who are opening Cosortium Chests, right? The mat can be farmed from the zone starting tomorrow…
We will see. If the TP gem store is bringing in the income, then why would they NOT add unique things in it to give a somewhat better advantage over whats in game already? Every game I seen that had a store like whats in GW2, eventualy want in that direction of a Pay to Win game. Although Devs swore it would not, but it did.
It is based on one of the most powerful words in the english language.
GREED
They’ve already said everything available in the chests you can get in the new zone.
And I doubt there’s much income at all. I think most players are like me and wouldn’t even consider buying gems with cash.
I think the dungeon difficulty is fine. It’s rarely impossible for pug groups even with minimal communication, except Arah. ANet has already started putting level 80 loot in 55+ areas.
Everything else I agree with.

Now ask them if they returned for the stat upgrade or the new zone, the new dungeon and new cosmetics.
Skipping Kholer is always faster, if you don’t believe so, you’re not running the right route.
Yeah, but the cost to craft them could be pretty ridiculous. After all, gold isn’t that easy to acquire – its not like the average player can farm up 100g a week.
Basically, unless these ascended items are acquired much in the same way current dungeon exotics are farmed with tokens, then it’ll fail and the entire game will suffer.
One way of acquiring them is upgrading an “Ascended Precursor” (exotic) via the Mystic Forge, using a Gift of Ascension which can be purchased using the tokens to get in the Fractal dungeon for 500 tokens.
If you can get any exotic and use it as a precursor, then the cost shouldn’t be that bad, unless the MF recipe is Gift of Ascension + Ascended Precursor + 250 Ori Blades + 250 Ori hilts.

He also drops 10 silver in addition.
Is this a guaranteed drop or just random? Some of the Champ howlers you don’t have to fight drop 15s or nothing.
I got an exotic first dungeon I ran after the patch.
Healing, Toughness, and Condition damage are called the “Apothecary” set in PvE.
You can craft them, so it’s very likely that it could go something like:
Ascended Precursor + Gift of Ascension + Rune + Infusion
Legendaries were reverted to exotic stats.
How about you moving to other zones since new patch allows you to get level 80 loot from level 55+ zones?
I never once got 80 loot in a 55 zone. I figure If and when a piece of loot ever drops in a 80 zone you think the loot would be 80 since it’s in a 80 zone, nope it always ends up being 70ish. Not only it is 70ish it is a blue and it never matches my type of gear, meaning If I wear heavy I got the other flavors. But nice try.
Rofl. So, I take it you extensively farmed 55+ zones in the last couple of hours and that was enough for you to conclude that you “never once got 80 loot” in them since the patch.
Just common courtesy.
My concern is that we won’t be able to freely switch between characters for the Fractals dungeon because one character may have attained a higher level than the other. Even if the progress level was account bound, wouldn’t we still have to outfit each character with the same infusions repeatedly the further in we go? Solely to mitigate agony?
School should be over by 3 PM, run home quick.
I’m excited for new skins. “Fractal” weapons are linked in map chat that look great. I’m not excited for the devaluing of exotics and the need to update my stats.
Can I get banned for it?
If you’re asking if ANet has a way of detecting whether you use it (other than, you know, this thread), then I don’t know.
They’ve already made a public statement that the mod is illegal.
Then they said it WAS allowed, then that it wasn’t, was, wasn’t, corrected the corrected correction of the original message ….
meh.
I don’t recall them ever say it was allowed.
When it was first brought to their attention, the response was, “Anything that does X and gives players an advantage is not allowed”. At that point I don’t think they were familiar enough with the mod for a verdict, so we were given a blanket answer. For the most part everyone pro-Mod was splitting hairs of whether this gave anyone the edge. Later on ANet said in no uncertain terms that the mod did breach terms of use and wasn’t allowed.
IIRC.

The zone and the loot will always be there. This is a content addition, unlike the Halloween which was a holiday event.
What you’re missing out on if you miss this weekend is a couple of one-time Dynamic Events that introduce the new zone.
No, it is not allowed.
Definitely still expecting the lodestone buff exclusive to dungeons.
Barring any additions to current dungeon vendors, the 9 tokens are negligible. Accumulate them over acquiring say a dozen pieces and you may be able to skip a run for the seventh.
Currently the only thing I see happening to them are being traded for the non-exotic gear to be salvaged for ecto’s, usually 40 a piece. If ANet still has plans to introduce tokens as a rare drop, then perhaps together the change would be worthwhile. Though to be honest, I’d rather not have tokens take up my loot finds because I actually want rares.
Please let us minimize the lost shores icon

But how will you know something is stirring in the Sea of Sorrows?
Just use a calculator.
especially since there is no physical reason that the one next to the Shadowfain Encampment (sp?) since it’s literally resting on a thin piece of structure. Magic has to be the answer, cause physics obviously isn’t.
Well you’re talking about a people who used magic to wipe their butts, I’m sure they can make their obligatory giant-monuments no problem.
i have an idea. once you hit 80, you level again, to level 100 this time, gaining MF and GF with each level.
That would work, only because 20 levels after 80 is like 3-4 days of casual play.
The crystal in CoF is usually like that, nothing to do with the patch.
Just saying, I’m pretty sure it’s not affected by MF.
I think that it won’t make a difference. Most players are already wearing MF in dungeons and you haven’t noticed.
If you’re concerned about what the players in your PUG are wearing, ask them to link their gear. It’s unlikely that people will bother to transmute MF gear and make it identical to their real gear.
