Right, again. The focus of WvW isn’t PvE. The guards aren’t meant to hold anything. They’re meant to augment the strength of the players who are.

The reason you don’t find fighting guards fun is because it isn’t fun. No amount of health and damage scaling will change that.

You’d expect someone looking for difficulty in WvW to look to the actual players, not the NPC’s…

Its been a great week for TW, all the guilds that used to come into SoR to fight us have now stopped. So in an effort to find fights we are now jumping BL to BL hunting zergs.

Are you finding fights? Choo’s having the issue where by the time we actually get to an objective under fire, whoever it was has already moved on (without capping). It makes us run around the map like chickens without heads. It’s a really frustrating tactic; yesterday in BGBL we must’ve gone to like 6 different places before we actually met the big Blackgate group at North Camp.

I was actually there then. Couldn’t stop laughing. It went on for so long before we just decided to stay at North Camp for a while.

Yeah, looking at MOS, we’re the closest match up in T1 & 2 for both NA and EU.

That’s actually kind of useful advice, considering the “Full” status of their server. I expect everyone who said they’re “done” with WvW to transfer so JQ can get people who do want to WvW.

Whatever timzone is before right now must be weakest for us and strongest for bg. When i get home from work (now) its always like this maybe 100 ppt if we’re lucky then its catch up which is almost impossible have we NEVER had coverage for that time or did someone leave? Even in the afternoon we’re outmanned most of the time but its not as bad as this normally.

No, SoR owns a wall-less keep, thanks to BG trebs.

If you guy’s truly wanna know why JQ gave up a 17k lead here it is. JQ as a whole has gotten bored of the repetitive wvw match up that we have now since the match up hasn’t changed much in a long time. (Guest in JQ la and ask this is the answer that you will get) Overall JQ is tired of wvw after weekend hype and a large lead and says lets go do something else that we havn’t been doing for months on end. JQ will continue to slack off until something new is added to wvw but until then have fun bg with first then maybe you guys will feel the same after a bit too.

Quite frankly, the game is boring. JQ is the #1 server in the history of the game. You can’t blame us that we want to take it easy and just relax on our luarrels and play other games. There’s no challenge left in GW2 for JQ as a server, we’ve fought the best and been the best.

It’s obvious what this is. Someone is very, very disgruntled with WM.

This isn’t the first instance today that I’ve heard of WM spies in JQ. Once from a JQ player himself who invited me to a party, and once from someone else on our server. It’s come to light that all these spies were different people. All speaking korean.

So, either WM just set out the three worst spies the day after we took the lead. Not yesterday or the weekend when we needed it. Today. Or there’s a very obvious smear campaign against them.

Sad, really. You wonder why they came to BG.

Patch shook things up. Admittedly I wasn’t on EBG before (or after) so I don’t know the status on that fight, but I noticed JQ took their keep (and several surrounding towers) within minutes of logging back in and have been making ground, or trying, since. They’ve definitely not failed to seize the opportunity. Made a play for E. Keep too on BG BL while we were still trying to shake off the outmanned buff. From the flips on the map it seemed they were keener on logging back in.

It seems that the recent recruits to BG have overall made T1 NA a much better place. Competition is high, BG and JQ are now nearly of equal strength and hopefully neither will now claim the win week after week.

SoR is still behind JQ and BG in regards for the race to number one but we still are a significant presence than cannot be ignored.

At least T1 NA isn’t like the posts I read of T1 EU, and that is all that really matters in the end, high competition and lotsa fun to be had by all.

I saw an SoR and JQ Guardian dueling in the northern supply camp. Right on the building with the vista using mostly the hammer, mainly its knockback. Hell, I don’t think they would’ve even used the auto skill if they could avoid it. Probably the most interesting duel I’ve ever seen. It lasted like a solid 2 minutes before one of the Guardians pulled out a shield and used the bubble, knocking the other one to his death. Curious now if that was regulation or if he “cheated” in their grand knockback duel.

Wanted to join in on my Guard, but hell if I was going to run up there again.

Anyone who’d look at that post would think you’re suggestions for players to upgrade their rigs instead of A-net ‘downgrading their game’ by reducing the number of players on every map. Triple zerg fights rely on who has the most people with potent auto-skills. I realized that after switching from Mesmer GS to Guardian Staff. It’s a shame that it devolves into, "Okay, which character has the easies “1” skill I can spam?" More over it’s kind of sad when you’re in a situation where you know for a fact your face should be a nasty smear on the floor but it’s not because no one can cast on you. I love my ’zerker Mesmer in the middle of two enemy zergs and not dying.

I thought two zergs was bad until I experienced my first triple zerg. It just killed the game for me after my amusement at not dying because of a “lag shield” finally diminished.

SoR has the least coverage period, you’re best off there.

BG bleeds into that time zone, some players are on at ungodly hours.

JQ has superior coverage to both already.

If you’re looking for actual competition (in terms of fighting equal numbers and organization), it’s not really anywhere to be found in T1. If you’re looking to balance the tier out by inflating the PPT of any server, you’d have the strongest impact at SoR.

I don’t get enough rares from WvW to notice a drop or increase in rares after changing positions.

They should have generic names for all places, IMO. And quite frankly, there should be more things to chat-link for convenience sake. West Stonemist Gate, for example. Stuff like that. The Borderlands in particular are made for generic naming.

They should just use one of the balances every other game with stealth employs, instead of using none of them.

Take a tip from TF2:

1. Stealthing and unstealthing is not instantaneous.
2. Getting hit while stealthed will show numbers.
3. You have to be fully uncloaked to attack someone. (This may already be the case, but dat rendering)

Just FYI pulling out a blueprint will fix the bundle bug, but yeah it is annoying as hell.

Actually the more interesting question is how far will JQ fall now that both EMP and FoO have left? They’ve now lost first place (not just the week, the rank) and all the fair weather players are going to abandon ship (either to PvE or to another server). The easy wins appear to be gone, so the buffer of players they enjoyed from that are a luxury no longer around and the guilds are going to have to work harder to stay in tier one, let alone win it. That’s something a lot of JQ isn’t used to. It’s going to get ugly (you can see the frustration on GW2Guru already) and as hard as the guilds might try to make up for the loss of numbers, people get sick of over time.

Rush to recruit because if the dominoes keep falling like they have been these last few weeks, the next time JQ will be green might be in tier two.

Sounds like a “sky is falling” post. Also JQ can’t recruit, they’re actually the only server that’s “Full”. Or maybe that means they finished secret pre-emptive recruiting!

Although if I ever see another HoD collapse, I’d laugh pretty hard. I still remember HoD dominating the Friday and Saturday (and maybe Sunday) after TA disbanded, and then just tanked during the weekdays. Followed by the exodus.

They should revert open-field AC’s back to their original stats and people can spec into AC mastery as it is now.

They should give a “Fortification” buff to AC’s built on walls/roofs of fortifications giving them slightly (less than it is now) increased range and damage (added benefit of it being logical). People who have AC mastery only get the better buff if they also happen to be manning an AC in a fortification (not cumulative).

And negligible damage from AC’s to other siege.

AC is still buffed with its trait line.
AC for defense is buffed in particular, as per ANets wants.

We’ll have to see where BG lands on a regular week. If we end up second again, that just settles the fact the JQ is still winning the coverage wars. I don’t think with the new additions we’ll be coming in third any more, provided they stay.

Tiers are still too static for my taste.

I still see plenty of [EMP] on JQ. Are they still in the process of moving or have that many decided to stay?

Also, jesus. I ran into a lot of TW since reset. Probably because EB and BG were full and I was hopping from SoR and JQ. Really whatever I could get into, (kitten those errors btw) and I’ve never seen so many highly ranked players in one place before. Some ranks I probably saw for the first time, actually.

Arrow carts really shouldn’t damage siege all that much…
