NPC: ‘You can’t sneak everything past me, look for answers elsewhere…’
NPC: ‘…or do you wish to learn how to be a [insert profession here]?’
You click ‘yes’
NPC: ‘Roll an alt.’
If you’re as bad at leveling as you say, even @ 80?, then jumping straight into a different play style (via profession change) isn’t really going to do anything for you.
You’d be better off re-rolling an alt and learning the prof from the get-go.
I absolutely LOVE rng…
…especially gem store rng.
Nothing beats that warm, inner feeling you get knowing that you are 1 in a thousand, with a 1 in a thousand chance of getting something truly mediocre ingame.
If player is defeated, the summoned creatures will persist only for another 30 minutes so as not to clog up an area with too many creatures.
Sounds more like an easy-mode group farm to me.
One player instigates the mob spawn, then everyone else cleans up.
More kills, more XP, more drops…even RNG would have a hard time keeping up with this one.
mounts
Never going to happen.
If Tyria was as free-roaming as, say, Warcraft’s Azeroth then it’s be a perfectly reasonable suggestion to ask for some form of transport to ‘bridge the gap’ between one point and another, but as GW2 already has a waypoint system and smaller play zones, the inclusion of mounts is just not necessary.
how is this relevant to the GW2 Discussion forum?
There’s always one…but on saying that, your post isn’t relevant either (and neither is mine).
Have a nice day.
Carrot…donkey…need i say more?
Sadly, i doubt we’ll ever see a race change option appearing in the gem store as you can either level an alt or, if you’ve no slots left, buy another character slot in order to do so.
So, why don’t players do just that?
It’s because it’s boring, that’s why.
For that reason alone, Anet should sit up and start taking notice as to what their playerbase really wants…and then do something about it.
Nuff said really.
I’m all for regular updates but surely there’s gotta be a less ‘in your face’, invasive way of downloading new builds?
Even a heads up as to what’s changed, say, on the log in screen would be a start…
Buying Heavy Loot Bags is definitely THE best way to go.
After trying to grind through innumerable hours of RNG encounters, i’d only amassed around 30-40 scraps…one trip to the TP for HLB’s and i had my wind catcher pretty much there and then (was even lucky enough to get a 50 from one kite!).
Title says it all really.
i hate the limitation of pre-set skills for each weapon combo .
This…pretty much.
Except for some minor dabbling in traits – everyone is basically a cookie-cutter of everyone else.
More variety please.
Why not just have the ability to combine sigils?
Skritt get my vote.
Believe, if you will that it’s all about the ‘shinies’, but they’ve a secret agenda just waiting to happen…
Can you also reward casuals for not alwys playing GW2?
Read through your post and believe me, even 80’s get crap from chests…so you’re not alone there but rewards for NOT playing?
You’re on your own on that front.
I reckon Asura should travel free…and get a dividend from all the cash spent on gate travel.
After all, we invented the bleeding thing…makes sense we should also benefit from it’s (over)use – it’d certainly be a nice racial to have.
you can already change your gender, face, body, and hair through in game items.
True, you can do all of those with the total makeover kit but your character remains the same race.
I’m suggesting a full body re-skin.
I’ve read quite a few posts recently on race change and how it would affect a character’s personal story…but what if it didn’t need to?
GW2 is all about skins, right?, so why not have the ability to re-skin your character?
Personal story would remain unaffected, as would racial skills, armor & weapon choices likewise as your class remains unchanged also.
Surely there’s an enterprising Asura out there that could cobble together some kind of makeover booth or something…
My reasoning for leaving was, what the hell is the point? What is the storyline
Like most of the recent story lines…it’ll probably be unfolded slowly over the course of the event.
I’m having the same problem.
Ever since last night’s new build, the Trading Post just isn’t working for me on all tabs (apart from pick up)…there’s just the orange ‘loading’ circle.
Tried zoning, client restart, internet restart, checked connection, firewall…
Everything was a-okay yesterday, as i made a purchase from the gem store, but now nothing.
