It would definitively need to be tweaked against griefing. But it sounds like an idea.
Think about how many servers there are, how many players sending in report tickets and how many GM’s they have to sort through these. Suddenly they’re faced with an unstopable truckload that never ends. You could even reward players for such activity, like small amounts of gems for SUCCESSFUL and verified bots being purged.
Just ignore him, or better, be spiteful and tell him nope just to watch him throw his 10 year old hissy. Plain and simple no body or guild owns WvW you have as much right to be there as anyone else.
Mine did after a complete re-install of GW2 I suppose something got corrupted I guess.
Anyway, close this no need to have it clogging the forums.
Not entirely the same, mine crashes as it attempts to download the new patch.
Also currently reinstalling to see if that fixes it.

I’ve never had issues with patching till todays most recent patch. Anyone know what’s up? I’m decently computer savey so no need to babysit me through most of it.

All joking aside, have you ever coded and programmed? Do you know Anets engine inside and out. it’s not as easy as going “Hey fix that bug.” Your going through million of lines of code looking for this : instead of ; Not to mention a MMO is an evolving system a new bug may spring up when a say… Female guardian gets a hold of a certain item while holding these items. It’s not so easy.
Vital shot is awesome, venom share here. Cloak and dagger into sneak attack, suddenly burst venom dump and 5 stacks of bleeds, keep it going with normal vital shots till you run another CaD into sneakattack

Wait, i’m confused… I don’t think I understand this whole pay to win thing here, can someone explain. If I gathered this right, when I go out and buy Mushroom Pizza in game cause i’m not a cook, but it does improve my condition duration by 24% and my condition damage by 60… ~Le gasp~ does that give me a pay to win advantage over that guy that didn’t buy Mishroom pizza? Oh gosh am I a dirty Pay to win cheater. Say it ain’t so….
But wait, can’t he buy the same mushroom pizza to give him those boosts, using ingame resources such as the money he earned ingame?….. So…. That would mean….. He’s just dumb and didn’t properly prepare himself for combat… Right?
I also went and bought about 7 black lion keys today ((Numbers are a tad off)) for around 1 gold and opened MORE chests and found these boosts… I’m confused isn’t that the same thing as buying a boost from that guy on the AH but from a different source.
OMG it all makes sense now, OP is trying to set up a black market and wants to muscle the competition… Arenanet out of the game by slandering their own ingame shop!
I got a whole bunch of those and never bought gems =D
It should really be changed to “When using your healing skill” instead of Gain vigor upon healing." It’s a tad misleading. Anyways thanks for the clarity =D
So today I was playing around a bit with my Vshare to make it a tad more survivable for things like Arah and such, grabbed vigorous healing from first tier acro thing "Vigor on heal is epic, if I run leeching venoms + Assassin’s reward. ((Tier 2 Acro that heals when using ini)) I figured I could help offset less damage with the increased crit.
Testing it out I found that the Vigor procs for no other heal but my main heal “Hide in shadows”
Is this simply a tooltip bug or a trait being bad?

Honestly, I can think of a few times that sliding down a moderate cliff for a bit of damage and a stealth entrance could have been useful in WvW. Making a small squad who all have the one ‘reduced falling damage’ trait for their class (No elementalists alowed!) could allow for some ambushes that otherwise wouldn’t be feasible.
For example, a lot of the cliffs around WvW roads won’t kill you, but some will knock you down on arrival. (Anything around 3/4ths health I think) But with this trait, you’d be taking less than half your life and arriving stealthed. Really 8 seconds is about long enough, in my opinion.
Oh don’t get me wrong the reduced damage has it’s use I think it’s a good trait in and of itself for just the thing you outlined. As well as the 8 seconds being plenty of time

I’m trying to figure out of the posters complaining about the nerf in this thread built their entire character around this, or if they’re just looking for something to complain about.
Useless trait, the change isn’t game breaking, how often are you jumping off cliffs and REQUIRING that stealth buff anyways. =P
I found a neat tower defense build. It doesn’t require much tweaking of your average build.
Run shortbow
Get 20 points into acro for the 2 initive every 10 seconds trait.
Run infiltrators for another +1 initive every 10 seconds.
Rock devourer and spider venom as last two slot skills
Spam clusterbomb on the attacking force for poison and bleeding lulz.
You can also fire clusterbombs at the back of your own gate to rut melee
With the ini regen you can use clusterbomb FOREVER!
Anyone else notice an exploit involving Mesmers “Mesmer-portling” over fort walls and taking entire groups straight to the tower lord?
Some of my WvW buddies mentioned they can use it to jack orbs as well.
Is this a known exploit?
Hey all, been working this around for a few hours now and wanted to get some imput from some of the better thieves out there.
Simply I adore venom share, but I am bored and hate P/D it doesn’t feel very thiefish at all. is it possible to run a Vshare effectively without P/D.
First I know Vshare’s effectiveness is for your team along with leaching for team heals and that it’s most effective hybridding damage with bleeds. P/D delivers this, but so does DD the only issue using DD is you lose lots of survivabilty, and without grabbing critical traits to frontload DD’s damage it feels lack luster in the damage department.
So somthing like 20/20/30/0/0 allows for the crits, but you lose access to exocutioner. You also pull points out of acrobat which gives even more suvivability.
So does anyone have any alternate ideas or feedback they’ed like to dump in? I’m all ears =D
When an entire combat style is based around 1 ability it needs to be changed, IMHO this forces more skill into the thief class and less Flavor of the month.
Because as venom share C&D into unload with venoms up = 5 stacks of bleed and a full poison list. Then when they move in sneak attack 30 yards back, throw dancing dagger and you have a viable bleed kite. Steal back in for another C7D and repeat. Targets die FAST
I like the elementalist tornado that never rez’s suddenly i’m being knocked around by a name-plate =D
I run a Venom share thief. Not only does me applying venoms give it to all team memebers, they get all buffs from traits to venoms, this means they gain 4 stacks of might and when they apply said venoms to enemies they heal. It’s a pretty strong support build for the thief.
Meanwhile in the usefull Thieves section i’ve taken my SPvP teams to victory a great many times as venom share… While he gets a few extra KB’s over everyone else.
