Zerker builds are fine. They are the best builds, but only if you are extremely skilled. Statistically speaking of course, chances are, you are not. Nothing to worry.
Support builds are getting a boost in a few days.
Condition builds are fine dps-wise when alone, but due to a technical limitation get less and less useful the moree conditions are thrown around. I’m sure they recognize the problem and are trying to tackle it.

Born as the “cool” server in headstart, it is now a huge PvE server, probably the biggest in EU.
Had somewhat good WvW community (lots of trolls though) but had to go through many problems and lost a big chunk of it.

By the way, you are wrong. Trust me. I’ve calculated the dps of the full zerk warrior and the full zerk guardian, and the warrior beats the guardian every time.

Basically if you want to go really tanky these two are the only options.
PVT
- best resistance to burst/condi
- better damage than cleric
- low sustain
Cleric
- best sustain
- benefits allies
- less damage than PVT
- weak to burst/condi
If you are bunkering in SPvP, I think Cleric is superior. In PvE, both suck. In WvW loads of players use PVT but I think every large-scale guardian should have a good chunk of healing power (say 400-600 depending on traits).

If I didn’t farm (and thus played almost only WvW) I’d see the average of an ascended weapon per 2 months or more.
So no, farming could’ve been the playerbase’s fault BEFORE the introduction of 500 crafting.

As for the matchup, kind of a boring evening yesterday on Elona border. Really slow paced attacks/defenses, but at least banishing Piken Squarers off of carver’s ascent was great.

I see no mention of jumping puzzles!!! How can you not suggest a new player to look for some of them?
Basically jumping puzzles are (generally hidden) areas that require you to do some platforming and/or puzzle-solving to get through. Some of them have unique quirks such as enemies knocking you down into pits full of scorpions (yay) or visual-impairing spells thrown at you. There’s a jumping puzzle in the human starting area, but imo it’s not that great, and is also combat-heavy.

I only do jumping puzzles and the last jumping puzzle released was months ago. I think every LS update should have a jumping puzzle.

Finding useful equipment was a chore — by design, I think, since they want players to buy equipment with real money on the auction.
