Desolation is definitely more PvE heavy, while Seafarer’s Rest is WvW heavy. Keep in mind that on SFR you will have to deal with some queues, especially for Eternal Battlegrounds. Nothing in this games proves effort other than a few achievements, minis and SAB weapons. Rest is just time invested.

If an enemy blobs (stacks almost everyone in the map in a single spot) you simply avoid it and cap camps/attempt to steal towers. If the enemy has more numbers than you then it simply sucks for you but please don’t call anyone blobbers because they interrupted your non-organized duel. lol.

Yeah I instantly came up with 3-4 users who have offered nothing of value in 6 months+ of posting. However it’s difficult to separate trolls from legitimate users and as such they can’t just hand out bans.

You are not being forced to learn to play a musical instrument or being force to play a youth sport that you have no interest in learning or playing.
You bought a product. You don’t like it. You state your opinion to the manufacturer why you don’t like it. They don’t address your concerns. You chalk it up to a bad buying decision and you move on.
You don’t set up camp and a soap box on their property and restate your objections over and over and over again for the rest of the product’s lifespan. We get it, you don’t like it for reasons XYZ.
If this was a subscription based MMO then you would have to keep paying to hang around protesting but since it’s a buy to play game you get the linger here forever and frankly after a year it’s getting old.
The only hope we have against you types is when ESO, Black Desert or whatever new MMO you choose comes out is that when it disappoints your echo chambered, self deluded expectations that you will then glom onto their forum and we can have relative peace and quiet with players that are willing to provide constructive criticism rather than a list of nonnegotiable demands.
This so much. I actually checked and most of them have over 7.5k AP achievement points.

Standing in a circle is boring just as the rest of WvW when there are no opponents. Is PvD or PvNPCs any better than staying in a circle? Answer: no. (doesn’t get all the hate for capping objectives)

To be fair, condition builds are strong in pvp but weak everywhere else.
I dream of the day when AI will start dodging so we can stop all these rant post that DPS is king in pvE
No, condition Necros, Mesmers, and Engineers are strong in PvP. Every other class is limited to 2-3 conditions, one or two of which actually deals damage, meaning one single condition removal mitigates 50-100% of their damage.
You forgot rangers. That’s half of the classes in this game having a strong PvP build that relies on conditions. Not exactly “a joke”, as OP puts it.

Blobbing in VS bl today was insane, I’ve got like 1k+ kills and 230 bags in no time. Thank you WL and VSS blobbers, sometimes you weren’t blob at all, and I appreciate that, but most of the time your maneuvers were so funny and so blobby. Like 30 zbs + 5-10 randoms are not good enough against your 2 raids 1v1, in equal numbers, no, you have to blob us and then run away diyng.
Thank you unnamed Kodash blob, you was awful in quality and fuken amazing in quantity. Really, so many people in 1 place, even Vizunah today have had 2 separete groups.
I’m not going to argue with you on who is blobbing the most, but as you said, WE tried to separate our raids, as SFR had only one big raid with Zbs/Zds and followers, like Kodash had. You were pretty much the same number as Kodash, the only thing was that you had a 30+ guild raid core, as they had only PuGs.

As a solo roamer, either set up duels if you want fair fights or suck it up and be outnumbered 90% of the time. I should know, I have lost count of the times I have been killed by bigger groups. Do you see me complaining about it? It’s WvW. Should they tell their guildies to log off because I’m alone?
