I don’t know what you guys think but i want my friends in this game… And they are pretty woried about that their money will burn. I tried to convince them but they are still woried anyway maybe ArenaNet can do a 20lvl free trail and more DVD’s i still thing lots of people are not buying this game because of the same reason that my friends have.

as for gold seller comments, generally trial accounts can only talk with people in their party in other games, and someone would have to invite them to their own party, etc.

20 lvls is a bit much. maybe 10 levels so you get the gist of the drop system and how basic rng elements work, as well as a taste of the combat. 20 is 1/4 of the entire levels, unlike wow where 20 is 1/5.

Its only natural for a Norn to use human swords like they were knives, and for an Asura to look tiny in comparison with his human greatsword…

At least projectiles should have a fixed aspect. Currently, flamethrowers on Asura and Charr are deceiving in their range because of this. Not nice at all.

bidding takes no permament money from you, any time you’re losing a bid, simply either wait it out, or take money back and re-bid, there’s no issue here.

I am just now getting this DC problem as of a few days ago, absolutely no idea what’s going on but can only play 5-45 minutes first play, then if I try to log back 1-3 mins it kicks me out, and trading post is almost always unavailable to me… any idea what causes this in the first place?

maybe it oughta be possible to add some sort of chat command that can dislodge you from pvp games, though of course it will count as not completing the game, and you’d be unable to matchmake for a while, but it might be better than having to manually dislodge everyone; especially if some people don’t use the forums?

Hello, if you purchased ULTIMATE, you get TWO Character slots, standard comes with 1, digital and above come with 2. hope that clears this up for you.

Was fighting a vet mob for a couple mins, when suddely another vet of the same kind spawned in its same position… I also noticed when I was walking towards a hero challenge about 20 mobs were spawned on the same exact spot and just flash ganked me with infinite combos of dazes and damage.

You can pre-purchase HoT through the official website, and when sent (in an email) the Serial Key, forward it to your friend, so he/she can upgrade an existing/create a new account.

As long as you don’t purchase it in-game, the Serial Key won’t be associated with your account.

Managed to fix things mostly at my end finally! After three weeks of almost no playtime.
Updated the hell out of the wireless drivers on my brother’s laptop. Everything seems to be running fine now. (What doesn’t help is he swore everything was up to date and I didn’t really want to tamper with his machine). :P
Anyone who is still having this problem, please check that your drivers are up to date whether you’re wireless or not. I guess it was coincidence that the June23rd update happened around the same time new drivers came out? :s

I’m not sure if my issue started with the june 23rd patch specifically, because it seemed to be fine then, but, 3-4 days ago I started having horrible lag (only gw2) and disconnects.

assuming you’ll need to pay gems like you would transferring any other world.

Does exactly same thing for me. Started doing this dc loop today, approx. Can’t even play the game, i log in, and start the game, everything is ok. After 1min it disconnects me with this “attachment” code.

maybe you should troubleshoot why base gw2.exe doesn’t work for you in the first place…. gw2setup.exe is first and foremost a setup file.

I think it’s a L2P issue. Revenants have a specific role in combat, and it’s up to the player to utilize the mechanics for maximum effectiveness.

It truly is, these skills shine so well when used together. I’ve already made such a good demon form build for myself that works great in pvp/small changes for PvE

so the insanely good PvE rewards , even ascended drops aren’t incentive enough? I play PvP because it rewards so well, just like every other part of the game now.

I disagree with not giving everything at the start though, this is what makes sPvP in this game different from pvp in other games.

Shard bags are usable in pvp now! Are mystic forge conduits? I’d be willing to drop $20 into the game to buy a mystic forge conduit if they are usable in pvp as that’d get rid of my need to leave to use the forge which would save SO much time.

HoT is going to implement smarter AI iirc.

I don’t like this “level up presentation” either.
What I do I click it all away fast and move on 2 seconds later.

Try popping 80 tomes, having to double click all tomes plus click the accept button plus open all of the leveling messages one at a time afterwards. Then cry to yourself because you’ve been clicking for an hour and your hand is cramping so bad that it might be less painful to just chop it off.

Anet seems to have some sort of clicking fetish. Between putting bags inside bags inside bags and all of the stuff they make you click its a miracle I haven’t gotten carpal tunnel yet.

I’m sure you know this is not the proper way to level up, personally I love the NPE, it’s made leveling low chars fun again with the content guide and guaranteed rewards every couple of levels.

um… I don’t see any issue with the shoulders, I actually like the ones that are only on one shoulder. Symmetry doesn’t make everything, almost nothing I wear in my normal irl wardrobe is symmetrical at all.

honestly, it seems more convenient to have it all in 1 npc though, things get cluttered, as the game world gets more content there’s less space to put everything… having every dungeon vendor in 1 npc does not signify any shortcomings in my opinion, dungeons are already where they need to be from my point of view, if that’s what you’re getting at…

The whole map, as in map of the world? Or area map like Queens Dale? If its the whole world, the answer will change over time as new areas are added. So that might be why you can’t get a solid answer.

Interesting idea, I do think it should be implemented as when there are afk players with no clothing visible I do no longer revive them, though other people still do.

I tried a google search and couldn’t turn up a solid answer on how many km^2 the map is.

Obvious sarcasm aside… (Because not everyone recognizes that as such on the internet… :p) … I really don’t see this as necessary… Not by a long shot.

It’s annoying how right after you report them, they spam your whisper window again with their bot spam, often times I have to remove whispers from my main list and put them in their own seperate window because of this.

As it is now, have to report them and then block them afterwards, but since selling gold is almost always bots, could you please integrated block into the report for selling gold?

I certainly have never asked, wanted, desired Tengu as a race ..so its at least everbody MINUS 1.
The equipment,armor animation work would in my singular opinion make having Tengu a large waste of resources.I would much prefer anyway another of the humanised races from GW1 , I miss my spear wielding paragon most.

mystic salvage kit has always had low ecto returns, you got lucky before, not now. black lion salvage kit is what has over 1.8+ returns

this would be heavily abused by trolls, no. and commanders? you can buy your way into commander position, I know I did.
