and some shooting stars and comets in the sky.

Have conditions that would change into boons if ended maturely and some that would if ended prematurely.
Have conditions that would increase stack intensity with time or reduce intensity with time.
Have conditions that could be removed and channeled into an object that can be used by other players in the form of other skills and increase in strength and effectiveness.

Have conditions that can be hard applied and soft applied. Certain ‘conditions’ would be needed to be met to apply or harden a condition. Some skills may be able to apply hard or soft conditions without needing to meet any conditions. The same would apply to removing them.
Having certain combos of conditions would trigger other conditions that skills are not very common in skill applications.
Have some skills that would apply multiple conditions grouped together as a locked soft condition group where if one of the conditions is removed, all of the grouped condition would be removed also.
Conditions would be applied as hard or soft with levels associated with them.
Hard conditions would be removed by levels that remove strengths of duration or stacks before the condition is completely removed.
Soft conditions would be completely removed completely with one removal skill.
Hard condition removals would completely remove a condition.
Soft condition removal would remove one or more part of a condition.

To reduce gemstore buyers dissapointment/remorse, allow a few gemstore refunds a month for items bought within that month.
Or do a 30 day refund satisfaction guarantee per item bought.
May apply to some items only (opened dye sets or used keys wouldnt work).
Or allow full preview and a try-out area for most things.
Whatever things to make gemstore items not feel like a gamble.

make holding a button (like ctrl) and clicking the left mouse button work like double-clicking. That way you only have to click half as many times when you are clicking away on a large stack of items.

Have weapons and armor icons show level requirement and armor weight class on them to easily distinguish them by just looking at the icon instead of hover the mouse over each icon.
A color dot in the corner could denote what professions could use each weapon too.

have a capture-point that slows or speeds up point accumulation from capture-points. also have a capture-point that increases or decreases points earned from kills or capture point turn-overs.

this could be applied to WvW too.

Guild wars needs more skills to counter other professions’ play-type like raw damage dealers, heavy armor builds, pets, minion masters, turret spammers, stealth users, condition users, CC players, cloners, booners, ranged players and any not mentioned. Each profession should have enough skills to augment their professions weakness to a certain amount and be able to build a full build to counter any of play-types listed. And with that, players will be able to create a meta-build play style to effectively compete with any other profession that’s available. Otherwise no profession can fully compete in any match that is made (spvp speaking specifically).
(note: as many skills on the skill bar as necessary to counter a professions play-type)
Each profession looks like it has its base game-play type made, now it needs counters for other professions and build-types.

it’s like people spam commander tags in a wvw matches. teammates don’t ever regulate that spamming do they? (sarcasm in both sentences)
a hundred skill effects would clutter the screen, but why do we need them?
Yes the only communication tool that every always needs is TS and it is the only way people can wvw. I see. but don’t be afraid to use bubbles if your other teammates don’t have ts.

-That is not a solution. Thats just like turning your head around and pretending its not happening.
Your other solutions require self (players) balancing and that isn’t going reliably self fix itself. And there are other problems with those ‘balancing solutions’ (not going to get wound up in those right now). And by not many problems, do you mean anet and .1 % of players not wanting to do it are the only problems with those solution, because i don’t see you mention any problems with those ‘solutions’.

‘Yeah and kill all enemy with 3-4 wipes and win without any problems. Such amazing idea…Or just all play thief and camp for each other to take him out of WvW and ruin his fun….Maybe let’s set same for pve? U die once and u won’t be able to play it anymore till next week. U know at WvW u clash pretty many times with enemy group and die a lot of times so yeah it would be nice to cut off enemy few times by op guilds( like NB, dF, vE, aX aaaaand much more) that are much better than pug zerg / blob and bah, win without any problems.’
-Its a quick game as mentioned. With harsher consequences. Might be too hardcore for some though. It’s quick so you wont have to wait a week. But while you’re dead you can just spectate how others in your team are doing and sit back a little and watch the action while you wait…and if your team’s good, it wont be long.

a new wvw mode might be an easier (and cleaner) solution than to balance all those thing above to supplement for lopsided populations.

oh also have some more quicker matches where conquest points are permanent (maybe tougher to do so) and are non reverse-able. or only reverse-able once within an allotted time and deaths are permanent within a match (or only one resurrection is allowed).

-have a gvg type of wvw like a custom wvw.
-mentioned that it is not server attached so servers don’t decide whos on what team.
-server buffs are sort of the reward for each wvw match aside from rank, title and whatever else.
-regional matching for different languages.
-if you want to auto-balance then you have to work with new things or problems…unless you have another solution to improve player population balance…

ts may be quicker but its more of a hard core player kind of thing really and doesn’t have a wide audience. a few quick and easy important alert signals will do (at least for now). Its wvw, remove any unnecessary pve GUIs and put them there. when quickly and easily selected, it pops up on top of their heads like chat bubbles maybe flashing and alerting to be more noticeable would be good. Maybe some auditory dialog to make it even more attention grabbing. might even be more effective than people trying to scream things on ts.

oh and have some simple instructions about how to play WvW somewhere in the window pane the lets you choose to play WvW for noobs so that they don’t ask how to play it while they’re in it. something like cap cap-points to get points to win and its a server versus server versus server game-type kind of thing (and about commanders and siege stuff and all that).

well commanders would be able to assemble these teams himself/herself.

for WvW get rid of the PvE message stuff on the top right side and put more wvw types of things like commander messages or quick alert icon messages from players.

for WvW have another mini-map on the bottom left corner that has overall view of the whole map and dots of squad members and members of the whole team on all the time. command info could be pinged there to show where to go and any other command information.

sPvP=small scale pvp 10-20 players
World=large scale pve 100+ players
Dungeons=small scale pve 5 players

Where is the medium scale pvp and pve? 30-100 players with map-size to scale.

Where is the commander-squad size (50 players) party gamemodes?

Where is there a way to assemble a squad and then assemble parties within that squad from there?

Just more gaming option suggestions…or questions.

bags should be for for carrying found loot only. everything else that a player would need to use like armor sets, weapons, consumables, salvage kits, gathering tools etc should have it’s own permanent separate storage place available anytime anywhere.

or.. make a row of custom icons under the skill keys that players can choose as their own custom icons bar. players could click on it much like skills and choose an action from a selection that pops up. these actions could have their own icons too like skills to make recognizing them easier.

there should be more icon shortcuts on screen for different actions in the game because there isn’t enough keys near the moving direction keys on the keyboard to accommodate all important actions during combat or regular gameplay. an icon for things like autorun, take target, say a location in chat, select nearest target, aoe loot, etc would be good. that way, players easily can click on an icon while performing other actions without having to move their hands all over the keyboard and interrupt their gameplay, or if they don’t have that action macro’d because they have other more important combat actions to macro instead.

when you click on [map], /say /guild options become available. suggestion is to move /say /guild options to underneath or on top of chat panel like in the picture. kind of like choosing from different chat tabs but it changes you chat mode/channel instead.

move chat panel channel selection (/say, /map /guild…) to directly underneath (or on top of (so that accidently switches are less frequent)) the chat panel; laid out horizontally in button-like form and always visible when chat panel is fully visible, to make switching chat channels easier. make the buttons highlight when selected to easily see which mode is set.

just a QOL suggestion.
