I got no armor for my Rev(just skins) but im loading up on crafting recipes as he will be my main XD

Now i know many of you will say eotm isn’t wvw, but that’s irrelevant to the thread

Were getting a new WvW map, does that come with a new Eotm map?

and if not will there be any changes to the eotm or will it stay the same?

Fractals are the dungeons for end game, also raids being 10 man dungeons

I may get some flak for this because its very SAO, but I’m a solo player. I never have liked playing with other people because a lot of the time I just want to do my own thing. being in a group from what I’ve seen basically means your trying to accomplish a goal. so many people tend to get mad when you see something off the beaten path that interests you. as for my play style, I really just adapt to the situation or character. but generally I enjoy being tanky while still dealing a good amount of damage. I’ve tried necro but it doesn’t deal enough damage for my liking. I thought guardian might be a good fit, but I soon realized it was too support oriented. for a solo player like me you can see how that’s a problem. warrior is just too stale for me since every rpg ever has the same one. I’m looking to get HoT, but the only specializations the interest me are necro, guard, and mesmer. I really think the necro specialization has potential to fit my play style, but I dont want it to feel like a grind getting there. I mained a druid in WoW if that helps. it was something out of the norm and had alot of fun doing it.

you know in SOA he had to join a party cus being solo was lonely and not fun, and he couldn’t beat the things he needed to without a party. . . just saying

I’d try them all out in spvp cus you get all the skills without leveling.

Also if you own HoT there are new specializations coming out that change the classes slightly. Druid is the elite for ranger.

taunt is basically a reverse fear, i see no problem with it

it’ll be balanced more as the game goes on, but the core mechanic of it is fine(and good for runners, you chickenkittens)

Ya i really feel this change will be bad for the overall ingame economy, except for those who have been hording the skins. Just seems like a blatant cash grab.(i know its a business, but still) Would be nice to atleast have the stuff be sellable instead of accountbound.

Lets just hope if they don’t revert the changes that atleast the increase of key drops in game is actually significant, so the change isnt a big deal . . .but i doubt it.

Rev’s have one less SET of utilities than every other class, we also have no customization options.

In pvp our enemies know all our skills, before we use them, we are the ONLY class that that is true for.

I really think there should of been a another core option of utilities atleast full of racials if nothing else as we have the invocation trait line that has NO utilities and NO legend or weapon connected to it.

I feel in the long term our class will be too predictable in pvp.

Why not have a new core legend just for the racials, or a customizable one . . . .since Revenant is already getting shafted in the utilities department with one less set than every other class.

We already got a traitline that doesnt have a legend connected to it, why not have a utility set too

really disappointed that you guys ddin’t think of a way to incorporate racials into the Rev(but i love the rev and it will be my main, mainly why im disappointed)

I wouldnt say it’s the worst content ever made, cus i’v e been in some games where the events were worse than this(ya the game wasnt fun lol)

but this is by far the worse content i’ve seen in GW2, makes me sad, after 3 years we should have better, more fun events . . .not worse ones.

definitely lack of fun, I didnt mind no ecp or drops since its an event but if the event isnt fun, people will not do it

I literally fell asleep doing this event.

It’s very boring, you’re pretty much only allowed to auto attack and run around.

Nothing about this event is fun!

It’s also nothing special, nothing different than silverwastes and such(and a much worse version at that).

Events should be fun and unique and feel rewarding. Do unique fun events like races, or some random thing like (ice) fishing(just for the event not adding into the real game)

Have multiple options for us to participate, not just the same thing on 3 different maps. Why not have 3 different events on each map instead.

Also why is there such long breaks. It totally prevents you from doing something else(cus 30 mins) and stops you from continuously farming; which if the event was actually fun you wouldn’t want to stop. Its 4 hours of your time wasted for an hour and a half worth of not fun.

This event actually made you not want to stop to rez people in fear you’d not tag a mob in time. That’s a horrible design.

I can’t fathom what you guys intended “the event” to go as . . . because nothing about this event says FUN

P.S. I thought arenanet was known for having fun events, I guess people were wrong

The only thing disgusting about Herald, is that it’s not part of the core class.

you know theres more golems scattered thoughout the area, not just at the main spot.

This is an L2Read issue.

again, characters may be beta, but the sPvP is not beta.

The beta is for more than just the new pve maps, its about class(and elite) balance for both pve, and spvp

So using your beta char in spvp is beta testing the balances . . . which makes it beta

also how do you guys not read “Rewards earned by BETA charcters will NOT be saved” def a l2read issue

Game needs more randomness, if something is mechanically the same, it becomes easy. Thats why pvp is considered “harder”

I miss the old mmos open dungeons that were random and felt new everytime you went there.(but know thats not so easy(atm) with the limitations graphically it would cause)

Rev is my main, up until now i’ve mained a warrior but always felt it was missing something.

Rev is perfect for me(except needs more utilities/customization)

Like the ranked ones for the titles and such

Normal f2p players can add friends and have no restriction with whispering them as long as they added them too.

but for the gold sellers out there 30 seconds isn’t that bad and will be abused. also they most likely will just start spamming in say chat in the starting areas

where in the lore does it say warriors don’t have any magic powers? sure they may not be throwing spells out, but they have plenty of skills that normal non magical humans couldn’t do.

Is it just me or does “daredevil” sound more like it should be a name for an Engi Elite Spec? I don’t know, Daredevil just makes me think of evel Knievel or any other sort of stuntman type of thing. Which to me would fit an Engi perfectly….

Daredevil is an actual word in the dictionary, it means “a reckless person who enjoys doing dangerous things”

Anet already said your beta bank and toons will persist thru all the BWEs. At this time, there is not going to be a reset. That may change between now and the next BWE, but as of right now, there is no reset. I seriously doubt they will change it now since the way BWEs operate has already been officially announced. I planned ahead of time and had everything ready to go in the bank. Maybe people should have paid attention to what ANet told them and done some planning and preparation.

Except we didn’t know all the elite specs and what they would entail to fully plan our banks. nine classes worth of items we would of had to plan for. and at the time of the first beta not even half the specs were known.
