Where is the Leaderboard for fractals?
I went in a high 30 fractal level with some friends and I only had 5 ar and I was playing a glass cannon ele, sure I went down on the bosses, and I really had to be on the ball, but I was able to do it without being too much of a burden on the team.
You have played with him on TeamSpeak? He is a skilled player?
PUG’s are not skilled. A lot of players leaching as hell. They don;t have AR, they don’t have skill for fractals. If you wann complet Fractal 35+ skill and AR this is what you need.
I would like to see what is the Fractal lvl of ppl in my group and what is the amount of AR they have.
What about servers from one one country?
Players/guilds from Dzagonur are winning a week so they are transfering to Drakkar Lake to support them.
And this way they are going to be first and second.
Servers form one contry should have their own League
Because of the new Leaderboards. It wouldn’t be fair for you to be at the top of the Leaderboards from completing it on easy mode would it?
It’s simple Ranked Fractals for Leaderboards and none ranked for old players that plays for fun.
Myself and many of my friends spent a lot of time and a huge amount of effort hitting fractal level 80. Obviously people who are fractal level 50+ make up a very small minority of the game’s population, so the reset to level 30 no doubt won’t upset many people.
For somebody like me, however, it really comes as an unpleasant shock that I’m going to lose 50 levels of personal progression that I worked extremely hard for. It’s the first time I’ve had something I worked very hard for actually taken away from me in an MMO. A lot of organization goes into hitting 80, and it requires a lot of patience and huge amounts of effort. Losing 50 levels of progression is literally like having two or three max-level alts deleted in terms of time investment lost.
When the PvP leaderboards were introduced and players were stripped of their QP, the top players were given reward chests with unique titles as a way to acknowledge they were at the cutting edge before the leaderboards were implemented. It would be nice to see something similar done for the players like myself and my friends who spent literally hundreds of hours getting to the top fractal tier possible. Maybe titles based on the tier reached, similar to the pre-leaderboard PvP titles.
Without something like this, there will be nothing to show for ever reaching that goal (the cutting edge of PvE in GW2, in my opinion) other than a memory, as there were no unique rewards for reaching high levels from the fractals themselves – most chests just contained blues and greens.

When are you going to give us the option, that players from their home severs will get priority to join the server.
Right now i can’t join the event with skilled players from my home server because of the guest players.

Are we going to get 2-5 blues and 1-3 green items as always from the last chest and the chance for mini teq, ascended weapon, exotic, and other new items will be as for precursores?
Megalaser during the event is bugged. We don’t have option to use it on RoS.

Charr horns from helemts. Where are they? Are they detachable?
After investigation by our programmers, they have determined that the fix to this issue would be too risky and could end up making the situation worse than it is. Unfortunately, this means that we’re not able to make changes to correct the issue. We’re sorry about this and we will be implementing ways to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future.
So, how are you going to fix your mistake. It’s not the frist time and not the last. Players have waste a lot of time, gold for WP’s on events to complet the mouthly achievement. And now all over again.
You should give something in return for the lost time and the problems resulting from the incompetence of employees.
Game types
So a lot of you want new game types. We’ve heard you. We’re prototyping more of them right now. But, as Colin said at the panel, we have to be careful. We learned a lot from GW1. We learned that having too many game types can split up the player base. But, if you’re not careful, just having 1 game type may not be enough variety. You’ve got to find that perfect spot.Deathmatch. I like DM, but I’m much more interested in objective based DM. “Go in a room and kill a dude” was fun when I was playing Doom/Quake/Unreal, but even those, as simple games, still had map control and buff/armor control. Just giving two players the same guns/armors, putting them in a room, and saying “Ok go” just isn’t as fun to play. Those other elements add a lot to the game. The most competitive/successful games in recent history all share these “secondary” objectives as well (they aren’t STRICTLY Deathmatch):
- In CS, that was the bomb/hostages. CoD (and similar games) still retain similar objectives to this day. Killing your opponent is still integral, but the secondary objectives “force” action.
- In RTS, it’s the resources (micro arena is fun, but it’s not nearly as fun to play or watch as having to also manage resources/scout/build the right tech, etc.). The resources force action.
- In Mobas, it’s all about controlling lanes, pushing towers, and controlling the jungle. It’s not just “go in a room and shoot a dude with your skills”. That’s fun, but I think the other elements add more strategy and tactics to the game, and make them more fun to play.
So for us, when we’re designing game types, we’re thinking about these things. DM is still a fun and exciting part of conquest, but I know you guys want more – we’re working on it.

AN will get rid of magic find in items. Only way to get MF will be boosters and by salvaging blue and green items.
Will we be able to get the MF things from blue and green items by salavaging them using Copper-fed unlimited salvage kit from gamestore in the future, or not?

It’s almost year since the game released. We got only guild missions(Once a week) related to guilds in GW2.
I would like to see some activities, mini games, living story, sPvP guild tournments, and other permanent content for guilds.
Right now Gw2 is still dosen’t have guild related things.
Where is the withdraw option for tokens?
GW2 have great mele weapon skins, like. Greatswords, swords, hammers, maces even bows.
Why there is no decent made/designed stakitten for Ele?

Hey folks,
I wanted to take a moment and address this, it’s a totally fair question and something as a player (removing my GD hat) I’d wonder the same thing as well. As I covered in my blog post last month, a major focus of our living world releases in the second half of the year will be on focusing our living world releases on content that has a larger sense of persistence, and more permanent effect on the world.
You’ll start seeing this strategy come into effect with the release 2 weeks from now, and grow as the year continues. The story of these living releases will occur long enough for it to play out reasonably and then update as the story moves forward, while the content and playable experiences (except specific story beats) will persist forever as a result of that story occurring.
We still want to have some content that can happen each year, our holiday festivals, Super Adventure Box, Zephyr Sanctum, and the new Queens Gauntlet are all intended to be content that will regularly return. The goal of having these in our portfolio of event content that can occur again each year is they allow us the opportunity to easily build on something we’ve already completed as themes for some of our releases for year 2.
We wanted to get to the end of the first year of Gw2 with a decent amount of these events that can happen each year in our pocket, to allow our second year a lot more opportunities to lean on these while we focus on much larger projects we’ve been working on in the background. You will not see another new recurring style event in 2014 once our core portfolio of returning events have been completed with the Queens Gauntlet. You’ll already see the benefits of this as the return of Halloween, SAB, and Wintersday has given some of our teams time to focus on other bigger projects during that time.
As to the point of this specific release, there are a ton of permanent features and content. From the update of mini-games becoming permanent on a rotation, champion loot, solo queue PvP and leaderboards, dungeon reward changes, currency wallet, PvP leaver penalties (dishonorable), the FX culling system and more! However, we do recognize one of the components is returning content rather than constant, we need one more core event in our portfolio to fill out our ability to pull off the ambitious plans we have for next year. We too want to have an even larger playable content impact as stated in our goals for the second half of 2014, you’ll be see seeing that play out shortly.
Soon, you won’t need to ask “is this permanent or temporary?”, you’ll simply be able to look at story specific parts and know the story goes away when it’s done, and the playable core content remains and changes based on the outcomes of the story. As a player, I’d rather login and experience an event knowing the outcome and the results of the story will create content I can see and experience for years, than have it all go away 2 weeks later, and have no impact.
We’re also looking into options that would allow players to experience the story sequences that will go away as the story moves forward for those who missed them, but this is still a ways off as we look at various options.

Returning content is sitll a tempolary content.
We need new maps(with PoI, Vistas, HEarts, minidungeons, Jps), new long personal story quest like Wizzer tower, new dragon to kill, Glint story, dwarves story etc.
New maps with their own history, new races and classes to play, races with new capitals.
Pernament mini-games, for me I’m bored of the constant new mini games. I would like to play on new maps like on the begining of the game.
Many of players are tired of temporary content.

I think AN will never do helmets for Charr race faster way is just to do everything on the humans and scaled it to Charrs and Asuras.

AN do you have any plans to introduce new Jumping puzzles. New ones or those which you stopped developing (e.g. in Caledon Forest.)
Do you have any plans to creat new pernamnet achievement (e.g. related to guild missions like get all treks, kill all bounty npc, beat the guild JP’s in XXX time) and challenges related and extend the current game world e.g new achi and challengs for Bosses (Orr and new Champs).
Any plans to add new titles for completing all the achievements in each category e.g. for killng all Bosses, or geting all JPs.
If the GW2 will sold on the asiatic market we will get the new big expansion from AN, ordered by the NCsoft. Otherwise we will not see any new elder dragon in Gw2 from NCsoft/AN.
What about:
- cuning in PvE,
- LFG in game,
- New pernament maps same as the ones from core game,
- contnet for the guilds,
- PvE locker for the new beckpacks, new armors etc.
- and much more.

I would like to see a tab for Living story script,quests,events like this one for “My story” in Hero Panel.
Every one will be able to read, see what is going on with story, what reward ware able to collect/achieve and get to know NPCs involved in Living story.
We know that GW2 probably will not get the expansion pack only free living story content (mostly temporary.)
I think that most of the players that are playing now and those who are taking a break would like to play on new zones/map of the Tyria with PoI’s Vistas, JP’s, mini dungs, quests, subquests, hearts, events, meta-events and more, new lvl cap, new classes, new races.
It seems to me that AN did not want to make expansion like for GW, because it would split the community of the game. Not that big community. 4-5kk people bought the game and still playing is 1kk not more.
The new expansion would mean adding things to main game and only for expansion.
Expansion can’t have lvl-cap, new skills, new traits due to WvWvW and sPvP balance.
One player with GW2 would have lvl 80 and player with expansion would have higher lvl, new skills, new traits etc.
It;s not going to work.
AN don’t want to make/release a expansion, is there any problem to make such expansion for which we would have to pay e.g.
-15$-20$ or
4-6k gems?
And things related to LvL, skills, traits would be common for GW2 and GW2 with expansion.
I would buy such extension.
Just to clarify a bit, as Mike said there are numerous teams beyond our Living World teams, and some of them are working on much longer term projects which we’ll go into details on much further down the road.
It’s entirely possible some of the types of content which you might traditionally find in expansions would be released through an expansion in the future for Gw2, and it’s possible we’d try something different when it comes to integrating those type of releases.
We have no final plans one way or another about expansions at this time, and certainly haven’t ruled them out, it’s something we’ll discuss more in the future.
Edited to add: Our primary focus right now is on making the core Gw2 experience as strong and compelling as possible, we’ll release a blog post later this month detailing more specifically our plans for Gw2 in the second half of 2013.
Right now you are making only content for gamers that are still playing not for gamers that left the game or have some break. Such gamers are waiting for more pernament new content like new zones, new skills, lvl cap, new class, new race, new dungeons, guild stuffs not the guild mission onece in the week. Such big in content expansion will bring beck the old and new gamers.
Any plans to release Crucible of Eternity book in the future?

The problem is that book catalogues at Simon and Schuster, the publisher, still list me as the writer of the novel, and indeed overseas rights to France, for instance, have sold with me still listed as the author – but I am not the chap writing the book. I wrote the ‘story’ to Sea of Sorrows, but not the novel.”

Let me explain how this works.
The firework event cycle (them happening every two hours) was started at 9:00 AM PDT. The event itself is tied to the ingame time and will happen at dawn (ingame). So your fireworks might not have happened yet, as it is not dawn ingame.
Apologies for us not communicating this more clearly. But the fireworks will happen every two hours over the course of the weekend, so plenty of time to marvel at them and get the achievement.

Dragon Ball without down-state sytem is much better pvp game.
AN could you remove down-state from sPvP maps or can you give an option in private games/custom Arenas to turn off the Down-state.
