You can guest a more populated server. Unless you play WvWvW there is no problem for you. If you do WvWvW then you have to transfer to that server.

I assume you meant to type 2800, 4000, and 8000. The US prices are exactly the same. A purchase of 8000 gems goes for $100 USD, 800 gems is $10 USD. Also there is no way that these are “such few gems”. Even the most expensive items in the gem store do not cost more than 800-1200 gems and they are permanent and account-bound.
In some other MMOs (e.g PW) you have to spend $1,000 per character.
Yes i wrote the wrong numbers. Still a lot. If you look at League of Legends or Dota 2 it’s pretty cheap. In LoL you can spend not much at all and get a few champions and skins.
Don’t buy any gems with real money, use in game gold, then they’re free.

There isn’t any problem with this map. It’s fully functional. It’s just the players that whine because they can get knocked down a pit.
Mesmers are better. Just huge damage output, they go stealth, they kitten you up, they confuse the kitten out of you, they wreck you.
With a singet and roll build you can get intiative up very quick.
Warrior Rifle is good as it is.

Instead of adding more skills or changing any of them they need to balance the ones they have already.
Skills are balanced on most classes. There are some classes that need tuning down a bit, like the mesmer shatter build with sword. Elementalist need a buff.
Your ideas above doesn’t feel GW2 stylish at all. It feels like you want to adapt GW2 into another mmorpg which its not.
If the cosmetics are only useable on a specific holiday event and such that’s fine. It will come back next year, so you just put it in your bank and then you equip it next year.

Mostly asian mmorpgs have something called subclass, subclass doesn’t have too be anything that changes everything about your class. It should be an addition and expand your possibilities in the way you want your class to play.
I’ve watched a few anime based on mmorpgs, all of them are well done and they give a lot of inspiration.
Let’s say you’re a Guardian and you like support, you like to protect and heal, but you also like to have control. This could open up a bigger playfield.
Let’s say the Subclass for control abillities is called Commander. You will then have a set of unique traits to that sub class that will improve your overall control. No extra skills, but upgrades to your current skills.
Subclass tab is a whole new tab for traits only for this specific sub class.
A Guardian with Mace and Shield would have the shield bubble skill that knocks back. You don’t want to knock back, what you want is to pull enemies toward you instead and immobilize them for 2 seconds. Sounds kind off sweet, doesn’kitten OPTIONS!
You are an Elementalist with the subclass Commander and you’re using Wand + Focus. Your current Dragon’s Tooth only do damage, you now upgrade it to also knock down foes on hit, OR you could make it slow all enemies on impact.
I got more examples. Let’s take the subclass Assassin which focus on assassinating.
You’re a Ranger with Longbow and you have a pet with you. You want your pet to attack with you, so you upgrade your pushback skill on Longbow to also make your pet leap toward the enemy along the distance knocking the enemy down.

Yes. I would love to see Random Events kick off in a zone or a city and it turns it all around. Like the events in Rift, those zone events are really well done, as they affect the entire zone. Mostly invasions though! which it doesn’t have to be. It could be much like the krait event with that huge tower or some bandit King that plans on doing something evil and if the event goes too far it will spread to other zones nearby.
GW2 really have the necessary tools for this to work. It’s just ArenaNet that needs to prioritize what they want to do. As far as the living event has gone they haven’t been that huge until the latest living event with the krait tower. The Flame and Frost and Karka were pretty big and impactfull as well though.

Yes that’s not correct. If you look at the guy with 33 wins and 20 losses (62%) and the guy with 10 wins and 1 loss (91%) and multiplie that by 5x (as the other guy has played 5x more matches) he would have 50 wins and 5 losses (90%) and that is clearly better stats than his mere 62%
Hotjoin is mostly 10vs10, i rarely see 5vs5 maps there so hotjoin is kind of chaotic and not structured at all, it’s rather boring and frustrating. We can make our own servers, so 5vs5 isn’t a problem, but they are very rare.
You could set up a filter to find the 5vs5 hotjoin matches. I have no problem finding 5vs5 at least.
I did and only found one. Maybe my filter need other options. I’ll try and see if i can find the problem.
I’ve been playing a lot of Solo Arena the past days and it’s very very fun when you play with experienced players as yourself, but when you play with people under rank 10 or 15 they are mostly not experienced enough, even if they are higher then rank 15 they could still be bad players. There’s a way to fix this problem though.
Hotjoin is mostly 10vs10, i rarely see 5vs5 maps there so hotjoin is kind of chaotic and not structured at all, it’s rather boring and frustrating. We can make our own servers, so 5vs5 isn’t a problem, but they are very rare.
I like how SPvP has gotten better, at least in Arena with the new system, but it’s not enough though. You can be a very skilled player and then get placed in the same team as less experienced players.
There should be an MMR system like in Dota, LoL and HoN and other mobas. MMR means Matchmaking rating, it rates your skill in form of Wins/Losses, Kills/Deaths/Assists and other things, like reviving other players, capture points etc.
Another problem, not as big of a problem is sigils on two-handed weapons. Two-handed weapons can only use 1 sigil while dual-wielding can use 2 sigils. This favors dual-wielding.
That was some of my thoughts and i’ll get back with more thoughts later as i play more.
Yes please! like we have our wallet, make this miniature tab account wide. I’m tired of never wanting to use my miniatures, every time i “deposit all” it goes right into collections in the bank. Very annoying.

I like this idea! i think guild halls should be somewhere neutral. As far as i know nowhere in Tyria is safe. I think the best location to have guilds halls would be in The Mists. In this new living event there would be unexplored islands and we have to discover them and explore them, take part in events and such, and at some point be able to claim a piece of land to build our own guild hall.
Would be awesome if the different islands had different themes, different events, different lore and different everything, but in some way it all connects.

Or block everyone under rank 10 from Solo and Team arenas and have a pre-arena from rank 10-15 and after rank 15 the tiers will start.
Not mounts but i’d like movement effects for each class. Like Elementalist would ride a cloud of lightning or an Engineer would ride a cool bike of some sort etc.
We need tiers for Solo Arena. I’m rank 16 and got in the same team as players under rank 10. Why would i want to play with them? they are less experienced.

Everyone wanted something like Ascended at launch but exotics were to easy to aquire, so they gave us ascended.
As i understand it we got attacked by Karkas, killed the karka queen (epic fight, though extreme lag) and went with Ellen Kiel to Southsun Cove and we stopped an evil Sylvari there later. Then the Dredge and Flame legion attacked us in the shiverpeaks and ascalon. Then the pirates attacked us and we went to their hideout, i think the inquest was with them on it. After that Scarlet came to divinity’s reach to mess with us and now she have been building a tower with the krait to take over Tyria, the tower plan failed though. What’s up next? something bigger.

Edit: If this nerf is because other classes feel like Warriors are OP. Then buff other classes. Don’t nerf the hammer for Warrior, it isn’t even needed.
