I think we will get huge updates with Raids, New Zones, New Skills, New Weapon types for all classes, New WvW map, Legendary Questlines, New Armour/Weapons, New Dungeons, SPvP Revamp, PvE and PvE Armor is shared(PvP locker to save all PvE armor), New Guild Missions(Easy, Hard, Legendary) and general improvements to existence content and more.
I see all of the art in the game. Maybe you have low graphic settings?
If you hate Guild Wars 2 it has not changed into something entirely else. They have improved the gameplay experience and such though but it’s still the same game.
There is that one mini-dungeon, where you need to run with a torch, can get pretty creepy. Don’t really remember where it is.
I think it was Lornar’s Pass, if not it’s in Timberline. Neat little place. Actually pitch black and the mini boss inside is almost scary as a result.
Yeah that’s in one of the sealed doors, right? it’s a pretty fun jumping puzzle.
I think when GW2 reaches the point of the maximum character development, that this game will have Max Level 250.

If they are going to release expansions i doubt they would increase levels by that much. My guess would be 90 in Cantha, 100 in Elona and in Utopia zero levels added. Utopia would be more like an expansion focusing on adding landmass and new places to explore, new cities, new races, new features, mounts and reworks of old content that could be done better. When Utopia releases they hopefully will have technology that will let them to build much bigger zones. Like 5-10x as big as the zones which are now. If Utopia is ever made that will be in like 8-10 years. Cantha in 2-3. Elona in 5-6.
No. Adding new skills, traits, weapon skills, new content and such is much more important than increasing levels by 10 or 20.
GW:EOTN had some titles that required you to farm. That’s true. But you didn’t have to complete those titles. Most are cosmetic or just doesn’t make a difference, unless you wanted any of the armor sets, which are cosmetics.
It need more disturbing zones influenced by the manga Berserk. If you have read it you know what i mean.
No it didn’t feel like a grind at all. It felt like you were a hunter or a traveler exploring the world looking for rare items or something, it didn’t feel like a grind. You were on a journey.

I really don’t consider the order part and the pact/dragon parts to be personal. It should be more like missions in GW1. If they ever are going to rework it.
Once we reach 2015 we will most likely have raids and a few new zones. How these raids will work i don’t know but they won’t be as raids in WoW. Rewards from raids will most likely be very cool-looking and maybe be a part in the scavenger hunt for legendaries?
I really hope that Scavenger Hunt (or whatever it’s going to be called) will be a long journey through the world, you will have to tackle tough content, old and new to get your legendary.
Where is the Flamewalker Light Armor? i can’t find it in the gemstore and it was there before.

Most of the armour ingame doesn’t look near this good, just a few.
To make Conditions more efficient and boost it to something worth using in a full built condition spec you should increase the values of intensity. Poison would have a lower value than for example bleeding and less number of stacks.
Example
Poison intensity value: XX% increased damage for each stack. Max XX stacks.
Bleeding intensity value: The current + XX% for each stack by each other sources that applies bleeding. Max 25 stacks. Solves the problem with maximum damage of stacks and makes stacks stronger when more applies bleeding.
Chilled intensity value: Normal slow. XX% increased damage by water magic for each stack. Max XX stacks
Burning intensity value: Normal dot. XX% increased damage by fire magic for each stack. Max XX stacks
I hope you get the idea. If you can balance this it would be a really great change to conditions and improve the overall gameplay experience.

I find it quite funny how people shout about how bad and lazy the devs are releasing reskins of armors, but at the same time seem to be fully okay with reskins, if they are from GW1.

Yes this! don’t udnerstand why they should look different on the two genders. I can understand how the models can be somewhat different but not entirely.
I agree with you guys. The part with Trehearne needs more characters involved and not 100% focus on Zhaitan and Trehearne. They could have added really interesting characters in the story which would make it more intriguing, characters that had connections to parts of Tyria and connections to existing characters in the story or NPCs in the world of Tyria.
Zhaitan fight was lame. ArenaNet have said they are working on something like raiding, but their take on raiding so it won’t actually be WoW raiding. Rift raiding was pretty fun though.
How about allow us to use a utility skill in elite slot. Most of the elites are really useless, and allowing one more utility would be great.
Why would you want a utility in the elite slot? if it got scaled to do more damage/heal or just being more effective it could work but that can make it unbalanced. New different kinds of elites is a better choice. 2-3 elites for each class is just crap, like when i play my Elementalist i don’t really need the fiery greatsword, the whirlwind or a summon, sometimes i just want a single target nuke, an AoE heal, a tankish elite etc.

Yes duels are needed and Arena. Then i mean an actual arena where people can sit and watch other games, like in a Coloseum.
I rather wish GW2 had zero levels and instead had something like Alternative Advancement with a deeper trait system and also more skills on each weapon you can change. Let’s say GS warrior had 20 skills, 4 skills on each slot, that would increase the number of builds and diversity.

I have an idea on how to improve the current Personal Story. You can do this by adding missions to do in between the instances, it’s kind of how it works in the living story. For example this Halloween you went into an instance and met the Bloody Prince, then you had to go in the open world to find a Candy Corn Elemental to seal the Bloody Prince.
As you see here, you had to do an objective or objectives in the open world in order to progress further to the next instance. This could easily be added into the current Personal Story in between instances. It would really improve that part of the game, make it more fluid and fill up those holes you get in the story while leveling from 1-80.

Overall there is to few combo fields and finishers for all classes. They should add more.
I think what you mean is that glyphs and signets need to be made viable first.
Yes, some of them are viable but not always. If i’m a water staff ele that focus on healing and combo fields, only 1 of the glyphs are useful, the lesser elemental and the ress (but i never use it, because mostly people stay alive).
We need more options.
We need new cultural armour sets and weapons. Something that really looks different and stands out, something that really gives you the feeling “THIS is a CHARR”. You know what i mean?
This armour should be a legendary armour, as it is always hard to make an armour set for all races, it usually only goes well with 2-3 races and looks ugly on the rest. More cultural armours would fix this problem, not all legendary though but i really think you nailed it with cultural armours and weapons.
No i think it’s a bug. Farming in GW2 is legal.
Elementalist need more glyphs and signets. More variation so everyone are aren’t running the same build and to get 100% effectiveness out of your traits specced into glyphs and signets.
I’m using a support build with staff and 1 out of those three glyphs i use is very useable and the elite glyph, the two others i nearly use at all.
Report them. Our community don’t need scum like those.
I got 7-13k xp from events and then after playing for over 1 hour i started getting like 648 XP. What the kitten?
This is from farming labyrinth.
Also the legendary events give too little XP for the amount of time it takes to kill the legendary. Got same amount of XP that you get from the veteran event.
Rework how traits work and cut the crap. This is the worst system ever and it’s both confusing and difficult to balance. There’s a much better way to customize your character with traits and it’s not the current way.

You had a trait system in alpha which changed how your skills worked and empowered them in some way. Like adding damage and fear to a skill which didn’t have fear before, or changing a skill with fear to a skill that chill instead. You see where i’m going? this is true customization, not bullkitten.
With this system you remove all the current “minor” buffs and changes to your class and build and do more major changes to your class and build with more variation and flavor.
A Greatsword Warrior could be a russian wintercold storm that chill all his enemies to death.
Another Greatsword Warrior could be a brutal berserker that tear his enemies to shreds while pushing his enemies around the battlefield.
A Longbow Ranger could be a sniper that kill his enemies one by one while using traps to be safe and a bird to pick out enemies eyes.
Another Longbow Ranger could be a volcano who shoot out arrows of fire and burn his enemies to crisps and have a giant flame lizard to spew hell on his enemies.
You see where i’m going? GW2 is nothing like this.

What they need to understand is the specific things people criticise, like not enough skills for all classes, not enough traits, not enough variation in builds, ranger pets sucks, SPvP sucks because reason etc etc.
Harvesting mats take time and time is money. So no, it’s not free.
I read the Fire Magic and it sounds really good.
I like how the Fiery Greatsword becomes a sword which follows you and attacks and also the other two elite skills.

I like the dirty look, but for being a “nobles” armour it doesn’t really fit the theme.
I i too think that races lack in attribute. It’s sometimes hard to really feel like you are the Charr or you are the Asura etc. They need to add more things to races to really make you feel like you are that specific race.
Like if i am a Charr warrior, Asura warrior, Sylvari warrior, Norn warrior. What make all these different is how you look in the armour and some animations are different. There’s nothing else that makes you feel like a Norn warrior or a Charr warrior etc.
Roleplaying can help you define who you are but then you have to spend hours and hours roleplaying, which not all enjoy doing, a very few do this.

Don’t know if that’s going to happen anytime soon. They want players to buy more bank tabs for those kinds of things. But if they are going to do something like that they’re going to add a PvE Locker, like the PvP Locker which stores all weapons,armours, sigils, runes etc.
You can get ascended weapon chests. I got one today!
They should remove soulbound from them though and make them only account bound.
How traits are now yes they are pretty much “kitten”. They could have done it much much better. Instead of small buffs to your character they could have done it so traits affect and change your skills.
Same with ascended imo.
Just got an ascended box, i mean it’s hard enough to chose what weapon you want and they say it’s account bound but then at the same kittening time they are soulbound. WHAT?
The only downside with Rangers is the kitten pet which you just wish you never had sometimes.
Would be nice if you put up bundles of the most popular armours/dyes/minis/ etc etc.
Or bundles of different types, like a bundle for light armour only etc.
These would be a kitteneaper than to buy all of them seperately, let’s say 800 gems for each and with a bundle you get them for 600 each.
