so currently, as Walrus, stated, to maximize consumable karma (jugs, flasks, gulps and drops) should be the following:

karma booster (50%) + guild banner (5%) + guild karma buff (15%) + karma food – all ice creams introduced this wintersday (5%) for a total of = 75%

so each jug would be 4,500 * (1 + 0.75) = 7,875 max

currently, i’m saving up jugs from dailies and monthly, as well as run the wintersday JP whenever i can. usually get a flask (4k karma) or gulp (3.5k). and then usually pop a karma booster when i see a good chain going in WvW. even without the karma booster, you’ll see a decent karma gain following a good commander, good group and flipping camps.

as someone mentioned, you can also run quick dungeon runs for maximizing karma as well. iirc, karma boosters should work on dungeon runs aswell, though i haven’t tested. if you’re familiar and have a decent group, you should be able to finish AC all paths within one hour – 1880 * 3 and that’s without boosters = 5,640 karma as well as all the other loot and tokens, which can help towards your legendary progress as well

lookingf forward to it! i’m trying to mess with a new build (only in theory for now) with triple meditation as well, and try using monk’s focus for some added healing. but we’ll see. currently running a boon duration build and seeing how that works heh.

one more thing, do you ever feel you don’t have enough mobility? i guess i got used to using swiftness from staff #3, though we have many other ways as well ; ))

i was a psych major in uni / college, and i especially loved social psych. so this is quite interesting actuallly and kind of intrigued by your “results”, if any. while i personaly don’t condone “staging” experiences, even though you don’t do it all the time or for trolling purposes. but it does show you how people react and if you work well together or if you’d like to play with them in the future. i guess in a sense, it’s picking and choosing, but it’s the same IRL to a certain extent. if there’s someone who’s consisntely AFK or just mouths people off for even harmless mistakes, you probably don’t want to play with them again. that being said, i see where you’re coming from, but can also see many people not getting this. heh. especially since most people feel invested in fractals, let alone at high levels and when they feel they have to deal with people below “par” according to their standard, they feel it’s a drag, and not worth their time.

:DD can’t wait to check out the new vids. haven’t had much time to play this weekend and been diving into WvW more, heh. great match up this week so far between BG/SoR aand TC, heh. that being said though, haven’t had much time to go for a new set :ppp still waiting to try this out lol hopefully more time over the holidays!!! famiyl events and friends permitting lol

@Kain – heh, /salute to you! for being such a good sport. “arguing” will be inevitable on forums. i’ll admit, i haven’t read ALL of their posts, but the bits that i did (first half maybe), both have viable points. i would recommend, don’t jump in with full berserker’s. at the same time, don’t completely dismiss it! the best thing about this game is that you can do so much.. and constantly evolving.

for the past good month and a half, i’ve been running something similar to Brutaly’s Altruistic Healing + Hammer crit build (you can find it stickied). it’s highly survivable, and helps your group, especially in fractals i want to say (though i haven’t hit that high level yet). and sustained dmg.

for starters, you can work towards full knight’s armour, and maybe soldier’s (pow/vit/tough) chest and pants for extra survivability if you’d like. full soldier’s runes are pretty good for dealing with conditions and if you like using shouts.

later on, once you get more used to the class, using dodges (a lot of our traits really buff up dodges! so learn early on even when it’s not “needed” for practice for future uses), blocks (ton of aegis at our disposal), utilizing blinds or other utilities, fo mitigate dmg.. wwhen you get good enough at that and being more situationally aware as a melee class, you can switch up your traits and go with more “aggressive” play stle / gear if you’d like.

right now, i’m building a couple more sets. one without altruistic healing and focused on boon duration. another more aggressive build focused on solo-roaming, and playing with meditations. and all different armour sets for these. so just get out there, while leveing, experiment a bit and find out what style you enjoy the most. : )))

Guardians are great at support – support as in giving out boons, staying alive to help others when they need it. often i find myself one of the last man standing, and being able to res your allies to bring them back into the game and turn the tide. not so much support as your traditional “healer”. but that being said, we do have skills that allow us to help prevent our allies from being downed at all to begin wit. ; )))

adding on to that, i mentioned dmg mitigation earlier – group wide aegis applications can help avoid big hits against our party. we have a lot of control skills (immobilizes on scepter #3 and hammer #3, areas of denial with staff #5 or hammer #5, pulls with GS #5, knock back with hammer #4) as well as reflection and absorb skills (Wall of Reflection utility can reflect projectiles and great for high levl fractals, shield #5 to push foes back as well as absorb projectiles, the spirit weapon shield helps protect as well!) all of these are great for higher level fractals i’ve heard.

check out Strife’s youtube videos and his build for some starting ground – know that he’s changed his setup since the original post:

Strife’s build on gw2guru – useful for some analysis on his build. it’s good starting ground or something to work towards, but remember, play the build that YOU love and enjoy the most!

in general, i would also suggest, keeping all wapons on hand! and experiment with all of them. i currently have at least one of each type of weapon. and multiple of the ones i use more often. i also have 4 armour sets on me at any given time.

as for appearance:
it seems you’re more set on being a human? if you want to go for icy, why not a Norn? heh. since they’re born in the white lands. in terms of actual armour, depends if you want to actually have regular armour, just with icy dye or have the whole theme (texture, materials) to be acually icy and more “organic” as well?

i have the primevil armour set form the gem store, and i feel some of the pieces can make a decent “icy” look. one of the shoulders could be the skull of a mini slain dragon for lore if you’re into building a backstory for your character. ; )) someone mentioned the Twilight Arbor dungeon set and that seems quite viable as well!

that being said, i’m used to carrying a staff around for moving around the map. or even switch to GS sometimes for faster movement. do you ever do this? or do you just stick wit you rmain weapon sets most of the time?

sounds like a fun build. though you seem to be not as focused down either shouts / meditations or consecrations and use a bit of all of them. do you ever feel you spread the traits a bit thin in any given area?

sounds like you need to be extremely mobile for this build. also, how does it fare in dungeons? : ))

like Shade mentioned, i’ve usually found baners outside the entrances of dungeons. as of late, outside AC once and outside Fracs once in LA overflow.

i read somewhere on the forums and someone mentioned that TC is the one server that is consistently full. keep trying though whenever you get to and hopefully, you’ll catch it just being high and get it.

good luck! so far, that’s the one i know as well with pretty strong RP.

i had a friend who came from WoW and complaiend about gw2 not having enough skills. i think it’s healthy amount. obviously, you’re not going to be using all at once at any given time. you would switch around depending on your playstyle and situation.

for e.g. i rarely touch meditations. and so now, i’m working on a build that focuses on meditations and it’s looking to be a lot of fun. it does take time to get used to a new build again, and skills, but it’s all part of the fun.

i’d say choose a few weapons and skills and a steup that you like and spend some time with it. get used to them and what they do. then when you want to try new things out, you can do that and i don’t think you’ll easily forget how to play your previus builds.

i want to say that there are cases where toughness > vitality. what you’ve stated @Dream is more than viable as it’s clearly working for you. and yes, against conditions, vitality is the better choice vs toughness alone, since toughness does nothing against cdns. i’d say a healthy balance can be optimal, or depending on playstyle. i used to don all knight’s gear, and toughness was maxed out. the Guard has a LOT of conditional removal. either through traits or runes or utilities so conditions never really bothered me too much. unless say i was getting focus fired in WvW where no amount of toughness / vitality would have saved me anyways. so really depends how you play.

i’ll want to add that you may want to look at effective HP if that’s your thing and you can find a balance between toughness and vitality. many Guards can also deal with a low HP pool by out-healing the dmg they’re taking and in a sense be more survivable (whether it be through regen or heals).

@Tajz – you bring good up a very important issue as well. and i agree with that. we see some servers go completely dead in WvW and that just drives people further away from ever participating. so i’m not opposed to better rewards as i understand the importace of having people on the map for WvW to work at all.. i simply feel that the Devs need to be really deliberate about introducing new rewards or how to put a system in place that will attract more people, while at the same time, allow and actually keep people coming back to WvW. not simply for the rewards, but for the core WvW mechanics and gameplay itself.

i mentioned queue times, but i’d be more than willing to wait for a map to open up, knowing that it is full of people, contributing to their server and the game. : ))

ha, karma as a “reward” for rezzing is a good idea! i could even do without the XP you get normally.

that being said, a lot of times people just have no idea what’s going on. or in your case, did you mean someone on your own team was laughing over your dead body….? surely you mean an opponent. regardless, if i run across you and you are downed, i’ll do anything i can do res you. though if it means me dying to get you up, we’ll most likely both end up dead. so i try to do this on a case by case basis, but i will drop everything and try to res if i can help it. be it a DE, dungeon, or in WvW.

i wouldn’t mind, as i quite enjoy being able to support my allies, and what not. as to how effective it would be? still have my reserves. thing is, i don’t have a static group i run with though at this moment. so i would have to stay more versatile. and like Chris mentioned, be able to survive AND take out enemies on my own if need be.

was just thinking in my head, and it COULD have been interesting. but the more i think of it, i can, too, only find it being able to be supportive in a group setting.

i was certainly hoping for a bit more for the big feb update that was brought up previously. perhaps we WILL see some more?

‘tis sad when you hear why people don’t play WvW is because of the rewards. too often people are rushing around, and just want rewards to justify their time spent, or money spent (i never will understand the “well, it was worth my $60” argument – no saying money is nothing, but are games and fun now solely determined by monetary value?), or effort spent. WvW i find is QUITE fun. perhaps i haven’t spent enough time in it to see all these problems, but i have noticed the population is dying down. i fear that increased rewards alone won’t fix the problem. the root is elsewhere. depending on how rewards are introduced, people will just play for the rewards, and we don’t want PvE “exploits” to come into WvW or speed farming WvW just for the rewards. people might just get rewards, and leave. leavin WvW in an even worse state – longer queue times for those who are genuinely interested in WvW and want to make a difference, people literally going in just for rewards and not giving a care about strategy, capping points, or even bother learning how to play WvW, etc etc to name a few.

that’s what i’d imagine. the stats you’re giving up hardly seem worth it. if anything, it would seem to be more a “fully support” build. like you mentioned, wouldn’t be able to kill much. o well. just a thought ; ))

nearing the end of getting some stuff together. so looking forward to trying this out closer to its full potential soon.

anyone give any thoughts to the new Giver’s armour? it’s got toughness as the major stat, and then healing power and boon duration as minors. though only 1% for boon duration on each piece. and you lose out on power, effectively lowering your DPS.

on first glance, it doesn’t seem worth it.. but could still be interesting.

keep going at it! if you like the CoF armour and even weapons, keep going at it and get some exotic gear first. i personally went for exotic weapons first to really up the DPS i can dish out. : ))) then slowly worked towards exotic armour.

as for making gold, just keep farming! doing dungeons runs, especially AC can net some pretty good coin, especially using some +MF% and +GF% food (ombomberry bars – can get pricey, raspberry peach bars a good alternative). i tend to sell all the blues/greens i get. though i salvage rares and exotics if they don’t sell for a lot for chance at ectos – because i’m going for a legendary and need ectos. if you’re planning to craft, you’ll need ectos as well for exotics.

but you’re on the right track. you can sort of see dungeon exotics as “free” gear. ; )) just put in the time and effort and you’ll make it. takes time but heh, it’s not bad.

and oh, the signet heal is MASSIVE when you use it. and it does have a super short CD. i’ve been accustomed to shelter and the 2 sec block has been a life saver for me. plus for a while, burns on blocks but may have to relook into the signet heal – used it way early on

haha have a ton of fun watching your vids! yea, i need to learn to do that better! i don’t extensively WvW but i already know my greatness weakness – situational awareness and like you said, “disappearing into a crowd” lol. turn around to see all your allies having fled already and you’re caught in a sea of red. and inevitably, your death lol.

ahh gotcha, that’s awesome. i’ve been experimenting with blood and omnom ghosts as well.

i’m sort of trying to build off your build, mixing and matching my own style but i don’t think at this point i can afford to use what you do. ; )) one of the reasons being is i usually roam solo, and follow groups when i can, but even then, it’s not guaranteed. you and your team work really good together, and i feel can benefit a bit more from some of the traits and playstyle you’ve learned to adapt. not sure if that’s right, but just a feeling heh. i think i need even a bit more survivability in terms of traits / gear. like you mentioned, i LOVE 15 in radiance and that’s one of our best traits i feel. and specced with blinds, 5 in virtues. works wonder, but thing is i don’t always kill as fast in WvW so i feel points can, for now, be better spent elsewhere heh.

but i’ll keep experimenting in WvW and see how close i can get to this. ; )) i want to play more with meditations as well, so might be speccing more into valour.

as above, i assume this works in the same way that boon duration affects all boons that you apply to yourself and allies. so if the boons are triggered by your combo, i want to say that it takes your boon duration into account as well.

i want to say you can perhaps try building for more support (giving out boons like no other, AoE retal, heals, protection, all things a Guardian can do). that being said, the Guard shines most, at least for me, when there are other melee users. when i am paird with people who range from super far, i don’t do as well – in a sense where i can’t support as well. perhaps can try a different tactic, and have your partner kite in circles? so in that sense she’s always near you. instead of dragging the mob far, and you having to chase them. also could aggro other nearby mobs, making the fight all the more tough.

how are you specced? or what traits are you using? if your gf needs more healing, keep a constant eye on her health. if she needs the little boost, hit F2 near her. hold the line offers regen as well. if you’re specced right, you can dodgeroll towards her and she’ll get a large boost. staff empower (#4) gives a decent heal after the charge-up. mace auto attack #3 or the symbols, which can also be specced for healing. so if she’s circle kiting / strafing, she’s more likely to benefit from you. if she’s far away and you’re not nearby, staff #2 can heal as well, hard to aim, but doable. and if you REALLY need giant heals, Tome of Courage works wonders. constant buffs and heals and the #5? a long charge, but it’s a full heal even if you had 1 HP left. just time it right. (and i THINK you can’t move, or if u move, it cancels so terst it out before actual combat). and i assume you two are communicating? via voice, and so let her know before you’r eusing moves or call out and plan how to approach and attack.

actually, even before healing, use dmg mitigation! you have a plethora of blocks. AoE aegis on F3 and retreat. blinds if you spec for them, sure they’re less effective but if timed right, can still negate big attacks. protection boons can help a lot. throw them out whenver you can. learn the big tells of specific champs and learn to dodge the big hitters. also, as a Guard you have a lot of CC so use them your best against champs and use them in crucial situations. : )))

usually in any given group, as a Guard, i’m not specced for super high dmg. though maybe i’ve just come across mobs that were attracted to high toughness. i had full knight’s gear and jewelry and some weps that were knight’s too so pretty high toughness and more often than not, mobs will chase me. unless if your gf has REALLy high dmg. the aggro table is not as intuitive, which i think makes for more interesting fights and keeps you on your toes.

hope these few ideas help. and that you two can rekindle the joy you had while leveling. when you hit 80, i think it’s even MORE fun as you have full arsenal of abilities and gear to choose from. know what you can and cannot handle. some things just aren’t meant to be taken on by two people. though i will want to say that you can take on some champs with just 2 – 3 people. everyone just needs to know what they are doing.

@Feralera – welcome as well!!!! heh, love the names. all my main and alts also play off “aka” ; )) and the only spanish i know is.. mas papas fritas, por favor! it hink that may be all i will ever need. ; )) and you are definitely more than welcome to this guild! know that currently it’s mainly cross-server, which was the intention. more of a hang out for like-minded folk. but there are some servers that have a larger presence. if anything stop by the guild and chat with whoever is on! if not, can try cross-server dungeon-ing. and most of us have been patiently waiting for guesting.

@Aluna – I LOVE MATH TOO!D statistics was s uper fun. i know what you mean about spending pages worth figuring out a math problem, and bam. your double underlined digits is in fact one of the choices if it’s MC. lol. my days date back all the way to highschool though, where i remember my friends and i voluntarily spend sleepless nights working through problems for our AP classD then at uni, had a teacher that was just.. we just didn’t click. and so my love for math was lost as well… sad i let that happen, but goes to show what a great mentor , professor can do (the one in highschool was AMAZING and we could all tell she loved math herself, which in turn, rubbed off on us too)

moving along now.. heh, who’s stopped the Toypocalypse!! kinda crazy how they make you group with PUGs for the final event of this Wintersday. wonder what made them go that route. have yet to try it, but looking forward to it! nothing like a little fun tower defense in gw!!!

just to note, this works with all the following:

with a large stack, the extra amount will be pretty noticeable. ; )) so save up for now! given they never change the effect that these boosts can have on consumables.

yea, i’ve learned a semi-hard way with transmutating items, or buying items that cost a lot of gold or karma or tokens from vendors. they have new confirmation windows now as well, but just know that currently in game, most currencies or actions are one time and usually can go back. so just be extra careful with antyhing that involveds permanenetly “destroying” or “spending” any given currency forever.

yep, just hold alt, click the item then drag to an empty spot (i want to say in your inventory, but should work in bank as well. not sure about collectibles tab), then you’ll get a popup screen where you can adjust the number you want to split from the “original” stack.

heh, good to hear Setis. running with P/V/T now as well. tested it out a bit last night and pretty fun! really gotta be more situational thugh. gotta finish out my cleric’s jewelry set though.

yar, i was running AC and HotW for the runes (and armour for PVT). didn’t get a whole lot of time last night though. so waiting for over the weekend to try again.

agreed i prefer the monk runes. 15% everything really is a big plus. running with omnom chocolate creams (i think is the name). even though it’s a supposed MF food, it gives extra 20% duration.

[added: @StarAce – good to know and i’ll mess around a bit with what i can afford as to how to strike a balance between the stats. at the moment, just need to increase my Healing abit and go from there]

:OOOO lol wait, quick question before we proceed. do you have even MORE precursors and just listed the ones your Guard could use? heh. i know you forged two, but even getting the Storm from Teq? very well done. and the epitome of first world Tyrian problems XDDD

personally, again, depends on your play style. i’m almost strictly two handed weapon wielder. so hammer or GS for me. personally LOVE the hammer and going for Juggernaut. for my GS’s, i prefer other skins : ))) the Scepter can be incredibly strong and useful in WvW or even some dungeon fights. just don’t feel the legendary matches the look and feel of the Guard though. and the focus. it’s a lovely weapon for us, however, again, the Anomaly is the best lookign focus in game for me right now. so working towards that isntead. yar 250 skillpoints after the legendary is gonna take a while XDD

good additional t ips people! CoE is easily one of my favourite dungeons, mechanic wise.D a few more from my side:

Alpha fights (P2/3):

• i think someone mentioned this already, but in case it was missed. for Alpha’s mega AoE attacks, you just need to all dodge for an invincibility frame. nothing like everyone stacking and dodging all in sync. it’s a sight. especially for a PUG hehe – just know that the attack happens after a short delay after you see the red circles

Path 1 – Hacking:

• i would recommend 2 —> 3 hackers as well and take care of the 6 golem’s at once. i’ve seen in Strife’s videos that they LoS the golems outside of the room so they’re all bunched up and just AoE them down
• a lot of my guildies and pugs i’ve run with prefer doing it 1 —> 4 so they deal with less golems. however, for the 4 people hacking, you need a REALLY capable person to be able to AoE / cleave all the golems so the 4 can get the hack done in time

Path 2 – Husk boss:

• good you noted to spread out! if your group is not careful, and you use #1 to guide the bomb golems or #2 to knock them into the Husk, if your allies are for whatever reason nearby and they get hit, it can get pretty tough to have to res them.
• during one PUG, one of them was like, “wanna let me solo this boss?” we’ve all done it before cept one guy, and he didn’t mind either, so we watched this guy just run around the husk boss’ platform in circles, with waves of bomb golems chasing him and they just kept blowing up the boss. he had to heal, protect, block, etc to negate dmg but it was done pretty easily. after the boss was down to health, we told the new guy to try out the plasma cannons so he would know what to do enxt time. just an alternative. i love this fight too, so i’d usually wanna jump in but was tempted to see. so this is a workaround as well lol if you don’t have the group dynamics for whatever reason.

Path 3 – Destroyer boss:

• if you’re in a PUG, for the first few times firing the laser, make sure you guys get the timing done. ime, it usually takes a couple sessions to ensure we’re all on the same page. after that, the 3 on the canons can start to jump down as well. use the platforms if you can (it’s easily doable without swiftness as well, but definitely helps!) one thing to watch out for is the knockback AoEs from the Destroyer. now with increased range. so use your blocks when you can or dodgerolling on the platforms can be tough, but can be done. prefer blocks though.

hmm donno how viable this would be.. but i’d say.. for now, i wouldn’t gamble with the mystic forge too much for your pre-cursor. and definitely not for money making.

there is talk about “easier” or “more accessible” ways to get your pre-cursor, so no point in gambling with the MF now. if you MUST and want to get it this way, either buy rares to throw in, or even better, wait until you find 4 of the same weapon type that you want, and throw it in. that’s more epic. ; )))

because if i get rares, i’d rather salvage them for ectos. if you’re looking at a 30% chance at the clovers, you’ll need about 500+ ectos using the 1x clover recipe. that’s a lot of ectos.

and all the while not wasting funds or mats to create or make rare weapons, you’ll be saving a lot of gold. so by the time you get everything else, you may have that much more gold to spend on a precursor if you must.

i love ombom ghosts as well. i go for ghosts over pies, just for the added effect of being all… ghost-like. XDDD and paired with a sigil of blood on your wep, it makes for decent healing with high crit.

and since my last build focused on crit a lot, bowl of butternut squash curry was a good choice too.

now i’ve moved on to try a boon duration build so the omomberry chocolate creams, despite being a “MF” type food, it gives 20% duration so that further augments my build.

i’ve heard cup of lotus fries is pretty decent if you like MF and condition dmg.

any one have any good foods that are based on power?

ahh, rune of the speed would be an intersting one too. good call on that @Hostility, especially for WvW. now i might have to look into them too O_____o

heh, i’m debating going into a meditation build as well. and this goes on to my next point, i agree on spending all these resources on runes, gear and not wanting to switch them out completely. i almost want to roll another Guardian cause i love this classs and there is so much to choose from! and like said, it’s tough to keep having to spend money and change runes. what if you want to go back? essentially creating the need to have multiple armour sets as well – which also cost gold, time, etc.

as for the boon duration runes, specifically i am using superior rune of the monk (from AC dungeon 240 tokens total), superior rune of the water (i just got from TP early on) and 2 major rune of the sanctuary (HotW dungeon 60 tokens total) so most of them are “free” in a sense. that is if you enjoy running dungeons. ; )) if you want help, feel free to look me up too in game! always down for some dungeons.

yea, i’ve just started using this and so far, it’s not too bad. with food, and what not, you can reach up to 90% boon duration lol and this applies to the boons that you apply to your allies as well.

[added: and oh, you could always go to th heart of the mists to test them out first before you decide to make a purchase. i personally never do this but a lot seem to]

find some friends or a guild to run with. i even party up with randoms while exploring at times if i noticed we’re after the same stuff. i’ll ask hey wanna party ? just rando eploring. and more cases than not, they’ll be like sure. and you can laugh and chat and what not.

if you want, you can Role Play if you’re into and can certainl help with the entertaining factor.

sounds like you love PvP, don’t like exploring that much or doing te hearts or having to find all vista’s and PoI’s. so i second/ third / fourth… going to check out WvW. large scale PvP, with different tactics. i have specific builds, gear and weapons for WvW. a different mind set. different consumables. and you can easily level up a lot this way. and it’s a TON of fun. helps to build server pride as well.

another alternative, go run some dungeons. they can extremely challenging if you’re “new” or “unprepared” but once you get the hang of them, can be very fun. can still be challenging depending on who you do them with. try PUGs. find a guild perhaps. and go for the dungeon master title. each path you do will usually net you a large portion of a level.

hope you can refind that spark in the game that you found initially!

though i had the chance to lay my own eyes on a bolt once and the lightning effect is pretty darn kewl too.

as for focus – corrupted artifact would be a good choice. the chain could be kind of cool. chalice seems to go along with the whole “idea” as well but not sure if it would look visually / aesthetically matching.

in terms of visuals.. maybe… in terms of preference, though i haven’t seen thes ein game. all judging by previews.

• acring focus – seems to have some “electrical” aspect to it with blue lighting
• glyphic focus – again, blue light.
• ascalonian?

as for builds.. what do you use as a second set? and if you’re boon using / shout heavy, the AH could still work even with a sword / OH. not an expert with the 1h sword though so will leave others to help you with this. though i imagine, i’d invest in the radiance line. or a mix of zeal/radiance/valor and some virtues.

hmm basd on your build and what you use, and if you want vitality, dolyak runes could be an option? you get total +145 toughness, +50 vit and regen health as the 6pc bonus if you get the full set. i’ve heard some people use this before and quite liked it.

i feel solider’s are a good defensive set. and truly shine swith the 6pc bonus. however, like you said, doesn’t match up to your build.

if not, you could always slot in jewels instead. for e.g. beryl (valkyrie) or emerald orbs (knight’s)

would you go for boon duration? i’m testing a build right now with a mix of water, monk and major sanctuary runes. the little healing boost might help as well for your meditation healing.

though personally, i feel your build should be quite defensive already.

not sure what amulets you’re talking about as i don’t sPvP. but to your first question, yes, all sigils and runes (for armour) are in PvE as well. i assume they’re the same as in PvP.

is it the mini? yarr, it’s pretty much just for collecting lol. [added: and to be incredibly cute! XDDD]

if you open your collectibles tab, there should be one for mini’s. you can double click it while on any given map, and it’ll follow you around. if you change maps, zone, etc it’ll be “stowed” and you gotta double click again. only thing is though, if you hit deposit all collectibles (after farming, etc) the mini will get deposited too.

in think unless if you put it in a slot of any invisible bag.

gonna have to test it out soon. last night,a fter crafting it, it was past bedtime bahaha so had to peace.

there’s this other small bug in the winterland JP, where sometimes, not sure what triggers it, if you get hit by a snowball, you remain flat on the ground. even after being transported to the start of the JP heh. you can still jump too lol tried it that way. didn’t end well (ony thing is though, to everyone else, you’re normal looking upright haha)

yar, i’ve ran with some necro’s before that i believed outshined other guards, eles or what have you that i’ve run with before.

that being said… if a leader of a dungeon DC’s or leaves. then i think another person should be assigned the new leader. that is intuitive and simple. maybe just have the leaders go down in order of who entered the dungeon in chronological order.

at the same time, is kicking is to be stayed in dungeons or instances / parties, then it should require majority of votes, even if the leader is the one being kicked. not just one person to second the kick. nor if the leader is kicked, should everyone else be kicked as well. again, back to the first point, the “leadership” just transfers to the next person. people who want to remain in the dungeon and keep going.

that’s all sorts of sad. this dungeon mechanic could use some polishing. re: leaders leaving, leader can be assigned to someone else immediately. by random, or mayb second person who entered the dungeon, etc. if someone leaves, what they do outside of the dungeon, should NOT be tied to anyone still inside the dungeon. and by no means what people do outside of the dungeon, should NOT cause other people to disconnect.

and the fact that you can’t add a new party member in fractals is not encouraging either.

i know people love fractals and most don’t have problems.. but i’m not that interested either. i want to be able to do them, but so far just haven’t have enough motivation. i struggle to do the monthly and then i’ll be done for this month.

if you have bank space.. you could always save them for now? in case they do introduce new leagendaries.. and assuming that the ways to obtain them won’t be drastically changed from now.
