All focus is, well it’s a catalyst. I haven’t played all classes but I believe focus is for magic classes. And a catalyst let’s magic users channel their magic.
gauntlets for elementalist, it would be the kunfu-mage class, i would play that
Mesmers are totally glamour type of mage so new weapon would be nice to be something glamorous like hand fan.

Well weapons are more feasible then a whole know class.
I like the idea of a hand.cannon for engineer.

I use axe manly becAuse the stats on it. Warhorn gets old not a big fan of mace shield is fun and good.
IM a,glass cannon so when IM in melee I drop fast axe 5 hits Alot of ppl and I crit berry often witch I stack bleeds on so if IM going down I wanna stack as much as,I can. I will eventually,go shield as soon as I get one with the stats I like
But if IM going down I wanna leave some bleeds on,as,much ppl as I can

A separate pvp mode that puts 4 guilds in separate ‘guild houses and let’s them fight over ’ resources’ let’s each different resource axially benefit players like a mine filled with ore, a lush forest or a bountiful garden or farm. Sounds fun
I run rifle and sword+axe.
Crit spec. Seems alright IM not max lv so idk how’s it will stack up.
I manly use.bleeds as a bonus to my damage, I don’t rely on them as main damage dealer. I do like that 33% bleed chance on crits comes up Alot.(trait)
And I use all signets for more crit chance. I think I got like 70 crit chance. And that at a low lv with kittenty none crit gear.
Ya I but it can’t be to hard lol spear are no doubt easy concept.
Bleed + vulnerable = spears
Cripple + knock back? = halberds

Just less damage more range and if anything just limit to the amount of ppl it can hit.This game is programmed so you can’t lure more than 6-7 mobs which are normally in current radius, if u lure them to far they return, what I’m trying to say is that this weapon would be useless, because requires a big group of monsters. And i’m against that they would change lands just to implement another weapon, me personally i’m against luring and cleaning big amounts of creatures.
I see your point but as a wvw player I’d take the extra reach. And IM not talking massive ly long just little longer then gs. You wouldn’t be.forced to.change much.

Good idea many introduce a new pvp mode with guild hauls or something . I mean it is called GUILD WARS 2 after all. Right now all guilds are is a social playground. Why not make them little more…fun.

Im I player that likes to see more personally feeling to my characters. I don’t like to fall in line with what is good. But it so hard to do with so little choices.
Engineer is a prime example postal and rifle… Yes yes they have tool kits but it just not.the same… I.personaly believe they should receive a dagger with skills more potion or poison oriented. But that’s a different subject all together.
This thread is manly for what weapons do you want to see in game that are absent ATM. I’ll start with a few I really want.
-Spears (we have them underwater but can’t use them above, that baffles me, and I don’t just mean 2h spears I want to sport a spear and shield)
-Halberd (by far one of my fav weapons of all times.
-Crossbows (another death machine I miss.
-Gauntlets ( no need to make a whole new monk class if warriors can pound some ones face in with their fist, good combo with thiefs guardians and elementalist, who doesn’t wanna hurl flames from there fist?

I just wanna see mm get the defend and attack command. Minions are well as their title says minions. At the.moment they are.just.uncontrollable beast…
The problem with a rare pets is every ones still ganna go get it.
and if every one gets it, it ain’t rare.any.more.
They just need to add more pets in general. I like to use pets that other ppl don’t . With more pets it gives more…customization. Plus some bets better for pvp I
And others for pve
I got a buddy that plays m/s manly plays pvp and he used that combo for the 2 counters. Seemed pretty decent to.

I also doubt quaggan and hylek will be playable, but for another reason, they are one of the lesser races, which you can sympathize with in your storyline. They aren’t ment to be one of the big players.
Compared to Quaggans and Hylek, the Charr are not distorted at all. You need to think about it from the perspective of models and animations, and how every piece of equipment is going to look on them. For starters, neither Quaggans or Hylek have distinct necks, consider how Helmets are going to work with that.
I mentioned the “lesser race” reason in a previous post as well. When considering if an existing race is going to work, consider if the player’s interaction with them would make sense if the player is a member of the same species.
Aye, right, I did see that post, I just didn’t see it was also made by you. This forum could use some kind of avatars, in longer topics it’s easy to miss who said what, if you aren’t outright looking for it.
While charr might not be as distortet as quaggan, there is still a difference, just look at the legs. I’m just saying, the look of a race, isn’t that much of a problem, unless we’re speaking of a complete alien race, in terms of locomotion, like centaurs or naga. A quaggan or a hylek, still have 2 legs and 2 arms, giving them armor compatable to the other races is possible without altering it too much. Not that they ever will be.
Not to mention they already have a heavy armor design for the hylek. I believe you can see one in lion arch or what ever it is called. Helmets on them would be easy to.design.and sure they do have stubby legs. they also have a nice opportunity for a pretty fun storyline. If you reed about them the get into tribes based on colors with blues and greens being friendlier. Going to the reds.witch are more aggressive. and only the strongest hylek survive to adulthood. not to mention even the asurans praise the hylek for the alchemy skills with poisons. Look up hylek in the gw2 wiki. And you will.see that they have.already started opening communication with the other races.
Also some one posted many adding the hetek(witch are relatives of hylek) and I don’t think they would.be possible as a race. I read that as they get older and bigger they get berry aggressive.

Now one thing that they are not doing and that they should be is having npc sells certain ones to create a gold sink. But another issue also. They sent expensive so it’s no big deal.
Oh and on the kodan side.,don’t know Alot about them but they could have swamp and forest cusins with you could use as added customization. Even add how the other (swamp/forest) came around. The kodan could just call on there they’re while civilization to stand in arms against the dragons. Thus bringing forth different Koran variations….

Try s/s for bleed pretty decent sword has a great off hand skill that stacks Alot of bleed.
Also for spvp my from said he runs a m/s something about having counters. I personally like s/ warhorn for the mobility in wvw
I still like s/ shield. The ability to completely block some ones burst takes skill but it’s nice to see disappointment when they don’t hit at all. Takes Alot of skill and.ttiming
Can we see the engineer get a melee weapon?
my while thought on it is the class getting a dagger.
And name the weapon skills either close range melee poison attacks.
Or add on the the option side of engineer. Have skills Serenity throw acids at a opponent (not a target area like grenades) an stack conditions. maybe even grant near by allies the ability to poison.
the latter is my fav. Making it more like a battle chemist. Or battle alchemist.
I’d like to see attacks that stack poison, weakness, burn. Ext.. All that good stuff you get when mixing chemicals.

Leaders get more hate then they do praise. That’s part of the job.
ppl will show hate over praise. And if your doing good it’s not you it’s the Army
Personally if you can’t handle the hate you ain’t cut out for the job.
And that’s the simple truth of it.
you may know.how to lead, but if you take everything personal you cant lead effectively.
What I want to see is halberds. You can even make a sythe and put it into this category that weapon would improve Alot of classes in the game personally (warrior, ranger necro, guardian and who knows maybe engineer(cause those poor guys need a melee weapon.
Plus halberds are just so dam sexy.

can make it’s attacks cleave with condition and decent damage so you could chose witch direction you want. Long reach but no ranged attacks.

OP is not 100% correct. Necromancy is just the magic of communing with the deceased to gain insight. Which the gw2 necro does to some degree, however as far as gaming goes (which doesn’t matter at all…) the gw2 version of necro isn’t very necro-y.
Its a Warlock. You can say it. GW2 has a Warlock, not a Necro.

A necromancer is.some one who communicate with the deceased. Not necessarily evil.
Now from what I’ve read about necromancers gw2 does a decent.job at portraying one.
Now regarding the minions. If you do.bring something back who says it will be in the same form. Bodies decay so if I was summoning something I would condensed what little.mass it.has so it wouldn’t shatter in one swing if a sword.
Now on that regards it would be nice to actually summon a more humminoid creature. But I didn’t develop the game so meh.
