from what I remember about it every attack was like a 90 degree frontal cone with range. I don’t think it deserves to be mentioned in the company you mentioned it with. Nothing was great about Wildstar except its pre launch viral marketing. I call it Viralstar for that reason.
ESO’s aiming is not a perfect recreation of the single player TPS/FPS combat, but I still prefer it over sticky targetting.
Wildstars dungeon mechanics where actually miles ahead of the dungeons in GW2. Proper difficulty aswell.
Rest of the game was mediocre tho. But so is GW2.
What made those dungeons so good compared to gw2, or gw1? I only tried wildstar for a short while and the whole pve part did not get me.
What are u complaining about? If they are rushing with golems, do the same. Or u can’t do that and want to take fun form those ppl? They play what they want and how they want so stop this PPT QQing. Btw. leading this way they should disable rams too, cos it is too hard to defend against them when whole blob is covering rams during day
Dont be stupid? They outnumber our server like 5-1 and still they come with like 10 golems at a time. And since when are rams overpowered? Do you even play this game?

If you are french I would really suggest a French speaking server before all. Augory rock or Vizunah.
Gunnars hold (my current server) has roaming groups, and Aurora has some really good ones.
Piken is going up in the ranks and you might end up in higher tiers again.
And the fights against germans, well you know. Almost none roamers(roaming group in germany is 15+), lots of golems, and ac’s every square inch of a keep. :/
Without stealth thiefs cannot do anything, at all. It’s cheesy but what are they suppose to do?
And I laugh at thiefs that call condi cheese, when the most old stinking cheese is the condi thief build.

And the golems are fixed, so the germans can take it all again. And they did. Golems are so much fun to defend against……
I was toying with the character creator for a new Elementalist and thought: with everyone making supermodels for characters, why not try to create something more exotic with human or norn? I’m seriously considering now updating my main mesmer for something this flavor: attachment below

My opinion:
PPT gives fights meaning. Fights give PPT action and excitement.
Otherwise, fights without purpose get boring after a while; likewise PPT is a little ho-hum without the risk of conflict.
As usual, somewhere in the middle is just right.
Yep a good mix between ppt and ppk sounds like a perfect solution. PPT should be most important, like you said you need your server to fight for something. But ppk could make fights so much more interesting.
Aha thats why I noticed so many golems on the enemy servers yesterday. Could be because of the exploit.
I never had much love for these golems so I dont mind if they are deactivated for 2 years.
-I will speak as a roamer. It is what I do the most afterall.
-Do I flip camps for the score? No. I flip them so ennemies come. If ennemies come and fight me, do I run and flip more camps? No.
-I once had duels for 2 hours with my friends versus other roamers in my borderland. Map chat was asking for help on Bay and it was fully upgraded/sieged. We lost Bay.

I’d love to see more things for karma. I raised the same question a few weeks ago. I’m a bit of a hoarder with karma, I have like 4.5 million. But on my server there are people with more than 10 mill. Nothing to spent it on
points per kill are are always better than points per tick. There needs to be a nice balance between them. Imo guilds also need to see their own points/kill per matchup.

But when I place my other siege on the same spot as in the vid in the OP it does not hit anything but wall.
Whats even weirder when I placed my ac at the same spot last week it did not hit the treb. It did not do so for 2.5 years, so I kinda doubt that Anet intended to do this and ignored it for 2.5 years.
I had the same thing with my PC. Windows 7, 64 bits.
It would freeze the screen, usually not the sound. I found out what worked for me is to clean everything gfx driver related and reinstalled a stable older version and installed it as administrator. Now I am 1.5 years further and no freezes since I did that. I dare not to upgrade my gfx driver because that’s when my trouble started =)

If you are right or not, I do think that Melee should be able to play melee. With so much CC in WvW you need that stability unless you want to be cc-ed to death. Perhaps the melee train was a bit too OP before? But right now I think they might be a bit too weak. WvW could use a little more tweaking imo.

The Tribal armor set and other armor sets that were sPvP-exclusive will be obtainable again at some point in the future. There is no ETA as to when this will happen.

The current max FoV is barely above an acceptable level. Any smaller fixednFoV that wasn’t too small would still let people see over walls.
Complaining to revert a fix that was long awaited is ridiculous. Get your own issue fixed instead of trying to ruin something good for the rest of us.

How would they fix what is not broken?
What is broken in WvW is that your AC outside a tower can now take out siege that you should not be able to hit.
Easy fix is to have a fixed FoV when manning siege, and it does not affect any other game mode or camera changes.

If you are not going to fix it, give the real gwammers a new nice set of shinies to compensate? Unique gw1 skins(bonedragonstaff, obsidian sword/armour), unique gw1 minis(kanaxai,) and such?
There is not a huge reason to place defensive siege now unless it’s manned like it is on AM/DL/Elona. The zeg comes, places one ac and all your siege can be gone in a matter of a minute with this fov. It’s not a very good tested change imo.
Better dive into the stun duration food market while you still can?
why would you want this to be reverted Oo? It is not like you are forced to use the new stuffs, in fact, everything is an option with sliders and checkboxes, if you don’t like it just don’t use it.

Because one AC placed outside a tower/keep can now destroy all defensive siege? Siege was very important for lower populated servers to stop the giant zergs from farming them.

Sooner or later zergs are going to run with the counter to rangers so it should solve by itself. But I still thing the range of the LB is too much. And I like playing ranger in wvw.
How about a fixed fov when operating siege? Would that work or would it be to limited.
The managed to break WvW in one patch I dont think it counts as the best update yet. Even if you like the changes in WvW it’s still not a very good patch.
