If i would ever stop wvw it’s because of the drops. Or rather the lack of drops, Anet is so afraid of loot that it’s non existent in this gamemode.

I’ve never even noticed anything different from day and night cycles. Night should be a whole lot more darker imo.

Nothing really, most of the things mentioned are a bit of luck and a lot of time invested.

Oh how I hate cheaters, lowest form of people are ruining fun for others. How miserabele at life can you be?

And space ships, add those. And satelites for better scouting, wormholes, also possible…
Or perhaps leave stupid things outside wvw?

I’d rather have something usefull to spend my karma on. I hope HoT brings it, if not i’ll start thinking about converting it into gold.

I stopped for about a year and since 5 months am back and still wvwing. While the loot is total crap it’s still fun to do and i would not know any other game that has the same combat and gameplay.

I think we need more of the skimpy armour not less….

It’s because of GW2 I almost cannot play other games. The movement of this game is pretty good.

Druids will likely follow suit, and in the MMO genre Druids tend to be more support/healer archetype focusing on crowd control and conditions.

Which means I’ll never spec to Druid because that means giving up DPS in a game all about DPS.

But if druid is about buffing, you will “gain” dps trough the buffing of your pet. I hope druid will be about buffing allies and debuffing enemies as it would perfectly fit the pet mechanic.

But my pet is usually dead within seconds in WvW.

You do know there are other servers that have prime time when EU has nightime right? Perhaps they are a good option, you know to fight and stuff like that.

You know there are sooo many servers that cater for OCX/SEA players? ocx prime is like midday EU or about 6am NA

Thats a whole different discussion I think, those players are a bit screwed and I do not consider them nightcrew because they almost have no choice.
I am talking about the players willingly going to a different timezone to be on the nightcapping easy mode train.

No need for defending? If you lose your tower and/or keep it will have to start over again and again. Nothing has changed there.

I´d love them to bring back Dhuum to ban people like this. It was an awesome sight in GW1 to see a ban

If you want the action go for a US server. On the Eu server you will be part of a nightcapping team and fight door most of the time.

This is a great thing, power creep roaming has been out of control in WvW. Honestly if they removed food, utility buffs and stacking sigils, it would get even better and likely you would see less people staying in the safety of the zerg.

I jumped from WvW to PvP and PvP is so much more balanced and a real challenge.

You just described perfectly why there is a game mode called PVP and one called WvW. You want a game mode where everyone is standardized, “balanced” with virtually no advantage whatsoever with everyone using virtually the same thing ?

Go to PVP.

When I was watching some pvp matches on twitch it almost looked like mini wvw. ‘Zerging’ down single players with 3 or 4, and standing on circles. Wasnt very fair fighting imo.

Ascended armor and weapons were a much worse addition to WvW than stacks were. You earned your stacks through playing WvW, that’s why they belong there. Being able to craft higher stats is stupid.

You are right, But that doesnt say that there should be no rewards The drops are terrible in wvw. The things to buy with badges are worse than the things you can buy with gold doesnt help either.

It’s not just the crafting, you also need an insane amount of gold to have your crafting go to 500 and then I am not even talking about the mats you will need for the pre cursor kinda money. What ever happened to drops being good in a game.

That wasnt a gamebreaking bug, that was blizzard underestimating the amount of people logging in. Just like Anet did when gw2 started and all you saw was a picture of queensdale and nothing more

Why dont you list the top AAA games with gamebreaking bugs. Most releases have bugs, like my last fav. game Diablo 3 had plenty, and still has. I cant remember any real gamebreaking bug even for D3. Or guild wars 1, had way less bugs than gw2 and cant remember at all any gamebreaking bugs.

I have zero belief a test server would change anything. For one thing, a test server doesn’t exist, it’s just not a public one.

And I don’t think most people playing would play on a test server, when it’s in no way furthering their goals. I played on the test server on Rift. It was dead almost all the time and bugs still happened, often major bugs, every time there was an update.

The test server also slows things down, because you have another layer of people “testing” and then you have to fix the bugs they find.

Most of the major things are fixed the day of the patch or at most the day after. Creating a test server would serve no purpose here.

Diablo 3 test server was always packed.
And the most enormous patch errors, the stealth and the WvW ones would have been seen in seconds.

They do look nice, one thing though. Anet could go with another GS look. Most of the gemshop GS look very much the same.

I have played all the game modes. The only thing a GS warrior can do is run away.

If you go melee the ele can outlast you. If you decide to run you won’t kill the ele either. GS is like those perma stealth thieves that have no dmg.

Lol @ a lot of projectile reflect. Has only 1 block projectile if d/d and 1 for staff.

With all game modes you mean other games perhaps.

With an engineer using reflect, 2 solid blocks, and magnet pull, and rocket boots to close a gap. I feel I am a natural predictor of the LB user. I have little difficulty dispatching rang e s with my warrior at all, and even less trouble when on my mesmer.

In my opinion if your having difficulty with a ranger, that is the fault of your own build and how you are playing it.

I’m not talking soloing, when was the last time you saw a roaming LB ranger. But in backline zerging they can snipe prety easy, No matter how good you say you are. I’ts the easiest job in the world, and very effective.

That is not a rational justification in my opinion. I can drop grenades all over a large group from 1500 range. for that matter I can use thief unload on you at 900 range. If your going to cry about one specific profession, using single target damage against you, when you are in a large scope battle, any damage from any profession focusing you in just as bad.

Crying about ranger damage when you die in a zerg clash doesn’t make any sense to me. I am very often PINed up, and I do not feel this is an issue for me to deal with. If I am playing a back line engi and use a 1200 range magnet to pull you back there to watch you get pounces on, are you going to cry that every profession with a pull is OP.

What is your main profession? I can gladly offer you suggest for your profession that you may not be aware of to deal with this issue. Then again, I can make an argument for how your chosen main is as or more OP then any ranger. It will be equally as rational as your argument.

How many hours do you have playing your ranger, in WvW anyway?

My main used to be ranger in wvw, but the complete stupidity of it got me going for another build. I could litteraly pick people apart from the other zerg without problem. Your engi will have eaten my complete rapid fire before your nades land and I have dodged them. Thief with unload is not a good example, you never even see them near zergs. Only backline finishers with hard hitting skills or zerg venom sharers.
Your engi pull( I love my engi also btw) is on a large cooldown very easy to avoid skill. Not even once I would consider anything an engi does in wvw OP.

It’s a well known tactic, so just use it yourself in your raids.

Take the ones you use to most, the guard stacks and what is the other that eveyeone ele has. And then just go for supplies untill you run out of points. Go play some wvw to get the rest.
