Sorry but engineer has a great amount of ways to get permanent movement speed.
Streamlined kits
MEcha legs (in a very good traitline! + less impairing conditions, nothing to complaint here).
Elixirs (like B ) + boon duration
Rune of the traveller (wich also gives boon duration, wich might be sttronger then it looks cause of the traitline +30% boon duration nerf).
Enough choices really. Mesmer only got a half solution with Signet of inspiration, and guardians are still somewhat forced onto ‘retreat’ for this.
Yeah going for the elixer + cooldowns and duration, but I still miss it :/

Balancing is indeed hard, but some of these bugs are so obvious that I find it hard to believe it was tested at all.
I find it fun to do, spent big part of the night trying to find it, and I got only 30 right now. You dont need to follow a guide, you just need some patience and good ears. A few are tricky and can be tricky in the future. I only found out about the one where you have to go inside from other people standing in front of the door.
Still fun to do, will try to do the rest tonight and perhaps tomorrow..
It’s really these small things to do in cities that could make a fun night, i hope these kind of small mini things are more often in the game.

Now it is quickness for 5s every 24s for 5ppl as intended. Also 10s fury. So with 3 guards in party you can keep up qickness for 62% of the time for your party only.
Still that new elite signet is better. 1k healing to 5ppl every 10s from passive? Thats OP.
There are atleast 10 guards in every zerg i see, if not more
the New WvW boarders will bring the Updated defences then this perma quickness won’t be much of a problem since you’ll have to contend with Enviroment defences too.
so you’ll need that quickness to quickly burst > move > burst move while attacking Fully upgraded keeps/towers , you wont be able to stand there on the spot so it’ll balance itself out , just hope they don’t take ages releasing the new boarders.

ether way even if it did get debugged back to 5 man limit Every Group has 1 or 2 Guardains so yes the Perma quickness is still a thing , target limit or not.
any exccess boons gets targeted onto Guild members then onto Randoms so you can still set up for perma quickness if enough Guardains set up for it.
the only bug is the target limit , if i didnt know what i was talking about I wouldnt even post a comment until i understand what the problem is.

You understand the mechanics, but do you understand how incredibly broken this skill is right now? Saying it will be ok for the new BL is just wrong, perma quickness is not a very good thing for this game mode.
This is quite possibly the most broken elite in the game. With 3 guardians you can have perma fury from just this, and with 5 guardians perma quickness. It’s like a mini time warp that’s up for every single fight, so the duration barely matters.
That said, I could not be happier with it on my bar and I hope it doesn’t get nerfed in 2 days.
And I hope it does, and even removed from the game. Wvw is crap right now.

Every condition is fine. It’s just burning that is causing the problem. Look at combat log.

Superior siege is overpowered and should be harder to get if I think about it. Makes commanders think twice if they waste guild catas and superior rams for everything even if there is barely any defenders.
Rather normal siege is underpowered. You could not stop a zerg of ambient creatures with normal ac.
Sup siege should be possible by upgrading normal ones. With badges or with other means I dont care much.
FSP PvDoored like evry keep with insane speed and farmed SFR and Deso insanely. Really need to fix this, cause this is no fun anymore.

I dont like the changes to the throw traps at all. I got so used to it that this feels like a big nerf to how I used to play with traps
haha i dono if you watched the steamers and the mesmers condi dmg its was just insane. it was soo powerful that the devs said we have to fix that because the numbers on the torment aplyed from one mesmer was 3.1k on a nonmoving target per tick.
after 23. vornability increases the dmg of condis aswell. so if you traid right you will have 15stacks of vornability all the time about 12 stacks of torment 10 or more confusion, some bleeds and burning. you can spike your target down with your conditions if you want.
so there is no on deth clone needed after this patch hehe
Well, you’d be right…except that you, like the devs, have a drastic lack of basic knowledge about how this game functions. Allow me to enlighten you so that you might be less prone to embarrassment in the future.
Target golems display the moving value of torment.

Target golems don’t dodge.
It’s a hard concept, but very true. Target golems merely stand there and let you beat on them.
Target golems don’t use condition removal.
Another tough one to wrap your head around, but I’m sure it can be done. Target golems don’t respond to you applying conditions in any way.
Now, it’s possible that you looked at the streamer applying conditions to a target golem and thought ‘oh, that golem is a realistic representation of how I play PvP!’ In general though, people are harder to fight than a target golem, and so balancing decisions based on hitting a target golem are nothing more than gross incompetence.
You should play against SFR in WvW once in a while. I swear some of these people dont react untill they lay on the ground in downstate.
Its a win now, and to cover their butts later.

People seem to forget about Living Story. New players who purchase now still have to pay for season 2, and currently have no access at all to season 1. They (probably) won’t ever get to witness the destruction of Lion’s Arch, run the removed TA path, or climb the Tower of Nightmares. Who’s to say that there won’t be any of that style of update in the future before the next expansion hits? Yeah, they save some money on the core game, but much of the content for that core game has come and gone.
Well it’s kinda their problem that they didnt start playing the game sooner. :/

Tomes will give one level if the char is below level 80. At level 80 it will give one spirit shard.

I am not the easiest person on the forum, and can be very negative when Anet does something I fail to see the reason to. But I never use mapchat to swear at people or their opinions. Have not seen any toxic people, but I avoid pvp like the plague.
in WvW there is a common objective so I see almost no toxicity there either.

Arent these traps going to change with the new patch? Like an arming time? Perhaps it will be better for stealth if you dont get revealed right after placing the traps. I am a bit clueless on how to see the change on the activation time for these traps.
Worried about how this system will empower and favor Guild groups over a Worlds militia. Guild groups already have an advantage as it is. Hoping the dev’s keep this in mind while balancing.

gw1 also had way more events, every weekend there was a special. Cantha new year that didnt suck, dragon festival, and fun wintersday. Oh how good was the snowball fight in that

I dont think 50 euro is too much at all. But I cant help compare it to the full game, that was also around 50 euro( I bought the collectors so not sure) and I got more content and guess what. 5 slots for my chars. So for this 50 euro expansion you bet I kinda expect the same.
And there is that chance that it’s not for WvW chest drops, like you cant salvage wvw gear bought from boh

I spent the 100 dollars thinking “oh, I get $50 in gems basically for free” without even realizing, “wait, I’m paying $50 for a tiny expansion.”
When I originally bought GW2, I got:
- dozens of fleshed out maps,
- several dungeons,
- multiple PvP & WvW maps,
- reworked classes from GW1, and
- a full personal story (and promise of a Living Story).
Now, for the same price, I’m getting much less. I don’t know… My first thought when I pre-purchased was that I was supporting a game that I love. Usually, I support the game with gems, though. I didn’t plan on participating in the beta because I’d like the gameplay to be fresh when it releases.
$50 of the money I’m spending to support the game doesn’t give me gems and doesn’t give me $50 worth of content…
I’d honestly just like to get a refund, for now. I’d hate to think that a company I’ve trusted for so long would just run off with my money even though I’m not happy with my purchase.

not sure if it will make you feel better or not but the truth is we have no idea how big or small HoT really is. any one claiming HoT is tiny or huge is just stating their own personal opinion.
Until such time Arenanet talk about the new maps, how many events / adventures etc.. are to be expected, length of the personal story, what dungeons / fractals are to be expected, what the new challenging group content consists of, how many world bosses the expansion contains etc.. everything is simple conjecture.
Well the fact they have not boasted about how big it’s going to be makes me believe that it isnt.
