yup. when making reference to GW1 business model, we also have to remember that free slot were given when there were new classes available .

campaign -> new class -> free slot

eotn -> no new class -> no free slot.

flame legion runes are good. your group will burn mobs/bosses anyway, so…..

chest farming is one thing you could do in SW. there is also pacman maze. breach and VW is another. i think we should be open to how players want to play their game.

you might not like chest farming but there are other players who do. i my self couldn’t stand more than 2 rounds of chest farming. usually i feel so sleepy after one round that i fell asleep, my character running against the wall lol…

OP, not much you can do even if you have the best graphic card in the world. this game is very CPU bound.

from my test, changing the setting from showing the basic character model (lowest) to high quality at low number increase the temperature by 5 degree celcius.

my guess is even the drawing task is done by CPU. getting better graphic card wouldn’t improve your FPS by much.

some time 2 years ago. there was community rage when thief could simply CnD the wall in WvW for perma invi. so anet introduced reveal buff to deal with that.

+1 ingame VoIP, provided it does not lag the game. if it does, kitten it…..

feature pack like guild guild halls, mastery system and new pvp map should be available to all players regardless you have HoT or not.

i’m still experiencing this intermittenly . the game freeze, so what i usually did was minimize the game and then maximize it back. sometimes the game go back to normal, sometimes the black screen of death appear just like OP explained, only mouse cursor appear.

this is very annoying.

yesterday me and my guildmates tried the path, and the escort NPC seems bugged. i check http://gw2dungeons.net/SE2 , and guide said the event will bugged if the NPC died.

has anet ever tried fixing this dungeon path , ever ?

this is what happen when you sell the digital version without a playing manual. at least something like bradygames guide (updated version of course) would be nice. of course wiki is there but the feel is different. wiki = wall of text.

just reduce the silk requirement to 50 bolts. deldrimore ingot needs 50 mitril ingot. elonian leather needs 50 T5 leather square. why do they need to make damask need 100 silk bolt ?

the flaw of PPT is that it only count at the final tick of the duration for the point, means server A could have hold structure X for a duration of 14 minutes, but server B can simply steal the points by capturing it just before the 15:00 tick.

they should pro-rate the point based on the time of holding per 15 minutes.

i don’t see any benefit for giving title to people crafting 2 same legendary either.

OP, people still go to dungeon, but mainly for gold, and hobby dungeon 5 AP.

i know i played to much GW2 when i dreamt about my next Legendary : The Bifrost

i live in SEA, so the ambient temperature is around 30’C….

my CPU temperature went to around 72’C when there are many players around. during heavy world boss fight it when to around 74’C, and the FPS drop to half, around 20+ . however, if i set the “number of high quality character displayed” to lowest, meaning i only show the basic character model, the temperature hover around 60’C. this means drawing the detailed character texture is taxing the CPU resources a lot in GW2.

i’m using AMD R9-270X. my CPU is i5-3450. 8GB RAM. Using SSD.

please revert back to the old trait unlocking system. i wouldn’t mind paying 10g to buy the grandmaster traits book.

sometimes it just feel funny, when you had just entered the map, but not long after that you are asked if you want to move to a more populated map. i thought for megaserver you’ll be placed in a more populated map first, but it seems that the game place you in the least populated map and only then ask the player to move to the more populated one. happened few times, and when i check the world boss timer the was no event for that going on during that time.

they looks nice on preview but when i see it on players they just seem not properly placed.

i myself in a dilemma for my next legendary. either the minstrel or the bifrost. i have all classes, and i think i would use the staff more but i really don’t like the idea of rainbow staff lol. but then again my ranger is a female human, so when she get to use the staff after HoT release, it wouldn’t be so bad after all…
