bonus gems for buying in larger quantity would be nice :

$30 – 2400gems + 10% (240gems) = 2640gems = 88gems/dollar
$40 – 3200gems + 12.5% (400gems) = 3600gems = 90gems/dollar
$50 – 4000gems + 15%(600gems) = 4600gems = 92gems/dollar

they need to offer something like this (more bonus gem for buying larger quantity).

if you play casually (no hard core farming), it may take you 2 years (may be more) for one legendary. the key thing is to get the precursor as fast as possible. forget everything else.

when i made my first legendary, zap was at 450g and t6 mats was around 30s. by the time i made my 4th this week (incinerator), precursors mostly triple in price, yet the t6 mats still around kitten (1.5 times). so you see, the precursor price always go up, if you don’t get it early as possible you’ll never catch up with the price.

so, always aim for the precursor first. even if later you decide not to make the legendary, you can always sell it.

even since i reached a stack each of bloodstone bricks and emphyreal stars, i have been throwing away bloodstone dusts and emphyreal fragments.

i don’t see it as grind. it’s kinda anet way of saying “if you want it you have to earn it”. it is not that hard.

i can’t do this challenge because the challenge emote does not appear in my instance. i got the other 2 achievement, but i cannot get this one due to this problem.

run gw2 better than

my new
8 cores amd fx 8320 3.50ghz

i check the task manager, only 3 cores is used, the other 5 cores is not used.

ideally, it should be like that uncle, optimized for all processors. but unfortunately that’s not the case. what a shame really….

for me, come on anet, this is 2014 already where most pc runs dx11 enabled graphic processor. those still stuck at dx9 most probably don’t play gw2 anyway.

the description says virtue of justice is renewed when you kill a foe. but nothing happen when i killed a mob, the cool down keep on going.

full ascended armor is only worth to players who do a lot of high level fractals because you can slot the agony resistance upgrade to it. that’s all. stats different is very very negligible indeed.

the new map is just a heaven for condi build. high dps high toughness low vita mobs. ANET way of dealing with the zerker meta.

last time i saw it T1 and T3 level of QL has bridge on the ground lol, but disappear at T2 level . is it still ?

yeah, they should add something like Svanir/Chieftain in spvp in the WvW map, and make them contribute 1000 points for each kill, but make the HP really high and scale up with more people, and spawn super veterans with more people attacking it. make it spawn every hour.

it’s a good move by ANET. at least some deterrent to siege trolls and spy accounts.

even then, 18 level is nothing in this game, you can get it in a blink if you’re experienced GW2 player. if you’re new to GW2, and was told to level up in WvW, you’re very much ill-advised.

i think few people who replied to this thread didn’t read OP’s argument properly. what he meant is , once you have completed the LS episode with a character, the achievements for that episode should be able to be completed with another character doing the same story (all over again), without the need for that character to finish it like the first one.

he did not say that once the first character finished a ls episode, the story is done for all characters, no he did not say that. he was talking about the access to the achievement, which i second.

Still needs to have WvW activity, and the bottom tiers won’t have the same kind of open field fighting activity as T2 does. Just would be boring.

GvG guilds don’t just GvG.

well. if ALL GvG guilds move to T8, they can still have open field fights that is not GvG “without caring much about PPT” just as they boast, right ? the server won’t move up, and GvG guilds will have their buddies there, forever.

if WvW activity you meant is capping towers/keep they can go EotM.. and come back to WvW/OS for GvG…

getting the zerg to dodge the boss skill is pretty hard because not everyone is coordinated + the particle effect + skill delay.

with the zerg, it is easier if they bring boonstripping skills such as null field and well of corruption. cast them when the skeletons appear. that will remove the ridiculous retal.
