Voice comm built in would not have to increase server lag at all…there are lots of replies to this…

the voice comm would still eats up the company’s internet bandwidth (or whatever terms you call it), which could have been used for improving the gaming experience.

if in the next match up Mags are still T2, SoS could possibly troll them by tanking their rating points, pushing up Mags rating, and Mags would have to fight in Gold league.

T3 is the most balanced right now… pick any of CD/DB/SbI/YB….

Yeah, but if the RNGod decide that Mag will get a T3 matchup next week, one of the two servers on that matchup will be screwed. Or even the one that get on the T2 if it’s able to “compete” with SoS/FA.

well, if that’s the case the only way to balance most match up is by forcing people to destack i.e. by lowering the map cap per server by half. this is the only solution ANET hasn’t tried so far. lowering map cap per server will introduce queue. those that cannot get into WvW have choice either go to EotM, or destack.

of course ANET will have to compensate this with few weeks of free transfer to accommodate the players transferring.

guild should not have problem transferring after Sept update because the upgrades will be global.

how about using the season 2 Swiss-style as the new match making system ? make every server begins with 0 point, and proceed the subsequent match up just like season 2, making reference to glicko rating point to separate servers on same swiss style point.

of course, few weeks after the first match up will be in havoc, but it will settle down after 3 or 4 weeks. and, reset the swiss style point every 6 months. i believe we will get nice variation of match ups.

as we know during season 1 of LS we have seen landscape of LA and Kessex Hill changed. now that season 1 is over , will we see LA rebuilt to its original state and Kessex Hill landscape restoration begins, like trees got replanted etc ?

if we can see even the slightest progress towards that, it could bring immersion to the game.

i think server merge is not too far in the future since they already mention about cross-server guild upgrades. guild can after the update move freely from server to server without the worry of losing upgrades when moving to a new server.

cross-server guild is the first step towards the server merge.

as of now there are 5 T3ish servers – DB/YB/SbI/CD/DR , with Mags soon joining the rank although we are not sure how low Mags will fall.

so yes, T3 is the most balanced right now, if you shuffle those servers in various match ups.

i remember offering gold to players to play FA in the early days, so that i can scour the map for Cartographer title…lol.. but no one accepted that offer…. how sad…

unfixed exploit. yet those exploiting it left unpunished by ANET. at least not that i have heard of anyone got banned for rezzing people through gate.

i wished they add the traits template to the feature pack, just like in GW1.

i wished GW2 PvE mob fighting mechanics are just like in GW1 where they synergize i.e. they help each other, just like us players. that will make the fighting more interesting.

remember doing vanquishing in the area with 2/3 grawl udolytes in a group in GW1 with just 4 people ? yeah… that experience….

just merge the servers into 9 servers…then let the population sort itself….. now that Sept update allows for global guild, transferring should be easier for guilds who was hesitant to transfer due to upgrade rebuilding issues

not caring for PPT is the downfall for any server. same thing happened to SoR. history repeats itself if people never learn. servers need both ppt huggers and zergbuster.

yeah, the game is not what it used to be like when it was first launched. back then PvE are separated according to servers, whereas nowadays everything PVE are already on megaserver. the only purpose for the servers now a separating teams for wvw.

all the 24 servers should be merged into 9 servers. that way you can have pack servers for WvWvW, and ANET would have easy time organizing tournament because with 9 servers you can have 12 distinct match ups where no server will meet the same other server more than once. 3 match ups a week, the tournament would last 4 weeks.

OCX and SEA are actually 2 different time zones. CD has SEA coverage, but OCX is a bit lacking, what we have is late NA going into overtime.

it’s just like a normal stock market practice. you get less when you resell immediately.

agree with the part where “legendary should not be tradable”.

it is a personal accomplishment, and i don’t see why someone who didn’t accomplish all the aspect required to craft a legendary weapon should be able to equip it.

i think ANET basically have covered all the classes we can think of when they should have actually spared one or two for future possible expansion. Engi in particular, i think should have been spared.

Nothing at all, you still got the better deal, I wouldnt complain, I mean your getting multi color, account bound tag for 200g where in the future it will be 300g.

I too have 2 tags, we are lucky they didnt give us back our 200g and took away the commander from us and made us buy them again at 300g, we are lucky for that, so please accept it and move on.

well, i don’t have 2 tags myself, only have one, but i think they are entitled to a 100g refund per extra tag as well. just like when ANET made the BLTC mining pick account bound and increased the price, those that got extra pick got a refund.

fresh start ? yeah.. everyone will start with 0 AP…

yes.. i do have Focused Ritual trait selected. is that the reason ? when i have Spiteful Vigor selected i do see the retaliation bonus written in blue in the Well of Blood tooltip, but didn’t know Focused Ritual bugging it.

i also get this crashes but only when i’m in LA, especially near the crafting area near Sanctum Harbor.

the crash is intermitten though. can’t simulate the situation.

i’m not getting the retaliation buff even when casting it with myself inside the well area. the trait works with other heal skill though.
